Chapter III - October 29th, 2018 [Results]

The first match of the evening starts with an eerie tone as Marcus LeVine makes his way to the ring with Cassie Sykes...but it isn’t just them. The druids that carried Leland Morgan off last week are with LeVine and Sykes once again, this time they are ushering a casket to the ring. They park the casket at ringside and then leave through the crowd. Sykes stands beside the casket, leaning on it and sporting a smug grin.

“For those who are not aware, Marcus LeVine presented a promo earlier this week where a figure representing Talia Areano was shown inside that very casket. LeVine is trying to play mind games with Areano.” Balk says.

“Hey man Areano said herself that it shook her at first, we’ll have to see if she is still freaked out. I know I would be. I fear death...kinda.” Murphy says.

Talia Areano makes her entrance and stops at the bottom of the ramp with her eyes on Sykes and the casket. Areano shakes it off and enters the ring. The bell sounds and the match begins with a lockup. LeVine takes control early by backing Areano into the corner with some hard knife edge chops.

LeVine ties Areano up on the corner where he hits her with a series of huge knees. LeVine goes for a corner clothesline but Areano rolls forward to try and put some distance between herself and her opponent. Areano then rushes in but LeVine is slightly faster, he catches her right in the face with a spinning heel kick. Areano drops and LeVine lazily covers for a quick two count.

“Yeah I think that casket is fucking with her Textbook. LeVine is dominating.” Murphy says. “Maybe Areano should just accept the fact that she is probably going to die.”

Areano is seriously rocked as LeVine waits for her to get up. As Areano rises LeVine leaps into the air with a Mario Bros. double foot stomp to the back of Areano’s head. LeVine with another lackadaisical cover but Areano is able to kick out at two again.

The audience starts up a “TAL-I-A” chance but it seems that the luchadora is on another planet. LeVine slaps Areano in the back of the head as the latter tries to stand up. LeVine applies a front face lock and shoots Areano into the ropes but Areano reverses it! Areano tries to follow LeVine into the ropes but at the last second LeVine stops short and launches Areano over the top rope! Areano flips forward and lands with a hard thud onto the casket.

“I have to believe that was entirely on purpose. LeVine is not treating this as a match, he’s treating it as a way to torture Talia Areano.” Balk says.

“Yeah it’s kind of fucked up but I’m into it.” Murphy says.

Areano starts to stand but she is favouring her lower back and Sykes is right there. Sykes opens the casket and mockingly invites Areano to hop in. Areano stands and looks Sykes in the eyes. Sykes says something smug and receives a roundhouse kick to the face. Sykes falls forward and Areano dumps her into the casket before closing the lid.

“Areano put Sykes in the casket! She’s in the casket!” Balk says.

LeVine looks incensed. He exits the ring and charges Areano but Areano leaps up onto the casket. Areano, in a desperation move, leaps off of the casket and drives LeVine face first into the floor with a bulldog. Seeing this as her opportunity, rolls LeVine into the ring. LeVine sits up but Areano charges and hits him with the Rush Hour sliding forearm. Areano covers but LeVine kicks out at two.

“What a comeback by Areano! She is all heart and I am thoroughly impressed.” Balk says.

Areano begs LeVine to get up and when he does she goes for the Slice of Heaven shiranui but LeVine counters it and hoists her up over his shoulder. LeVine runs forward and looks for a lawn dart but at the last second Areano flips forward, lands on her feet, and is able to push off of the corner and hit LeVine with the Slice of Heaven! Areano covers for the three count.


Areano doesn’t even wait to get her hand raised, she slides out of the ring and backs up the ramp. LeVine recovers in the ring and looks absolutely beside himself. Sykes has opened the casket and is standing inside, staring daggers at Areano from ringside.

The next match of the evening sees two women who are no strangers to each other square off. Both Vebbins and Hamilton are on losing streaks, one of them sure to end tonight. The match starts with Hamilton throwing some bombs at Vebbins. The first couple land but Vebbins is able to catch one and take Hamilton over with a deep arm drag. Hamilton retreats to a corner but Vebbins comes in with a Van Dam style monkey flip.

The Titaness rallies back and blindsides Vebbins with a clothesline. Hamilton gets Vebbins up and shoots her into a corner but Vebbins hops up to the second rope. Hamilton runs in with a forearm shot to Vebbins’ lower back. Hamilton then steps on the second rope, grabs Vebbins by the throat and brings her off of the second turnbuckle with a choke slam.

“Second rope chokeslam! This contest could be over early!” Balk says.

Hamilton covers but Vebbins kicks out at two. Hamilton keeps Vebbins grounded with some stiff shots and then hits her with a scoop slam. Hamilton hits the ropes and hits a high leaping leg drop across Vebbins throat. Hamilton tucks backwards and is up to her feet, she hits the ropes again and drops a knee on Vebbins’ head.

The Adorkable Angel is lifted up to a vertical base and then peppered with a series of forearm strikes from Hamilton. The Titaness lets out a primal scream in Vebbins’ face and then shoots her into the ropes. Hamilton lies in wait but when Vebbins comes back she is able to grab Hamilton’s arm, swing her legs around and drive the back of Hamilton’s head into the canvas with a crucifix DDT. Vebbins covers but only gets a two count.

“That’s what the fuckin’ nerd needed! She has turned this boat right around!” Murphy says.

“I thought you liked Vebbins?” Balk says.

“Doesn’t make her any less of a fuckin’ nerd.” Murphy says.

Hamilton tries to fight back up to her feet and she does. Hamilton throws a punch but Vebbins ducks underneath it and tosses Hamilton back with a half nelson suplex! Hamilton hits with a thud but rolls back up to her feet out of instinct. Vebbins immediately pounces and locks in a sleeper hold.

The Titaness starts fading but at the last second we see her open her eyes wide and she lifts Vebbins up onto her back. Hamilton runs backward and sandwiches Vebbins into the corner, releasing the hold. Hamilton staggers forward and when she turns to face Vebbins, Vebbins hits her with a toe kick to the mid-section. Vebbins takes Hamilton over with a Northern Lights suplex into a bridge for a quick two count.

“The momentum has shifted. Both of these competitors really need a win Murphy and they need one badly.” Balk says.

“Yeah. Neither did much in the last version of Elysium and so far they haven’t done shit in this one.” Murphy says.

“Vebbins nearly won the tag team titles.” Balk says.

“Nearly.” Murphy says smugly.

Vebbins skips around the ring for a moment before grabbing Hamilton by the head. Vebbins stands Hamilton up but The Titaness hits Vebbins with a stiff uppercut. Hamilton positions Vebbins’ head between her legs and then plants her with Wrath of the Titans. Hamilton covers and secures the three count.

The two men make their entrances for the next contest and stand across the ring from one another. The bell sounds and Villalobos charges DEIMOS and hits him with a cross body that take both men over the top rope to the outside. The two land in a heap and Villalobos immediately mounts DEIMOS. Villalobos lays into The Final Omen with some hard shots before DEIMOS shoves him off.

Isabella watches from ringside as Villalobos rallies back and charges DEIMOS, looking for a running knee. DEIMOS moves out of the way and leaps up with a rising clothesline that turns Villalobos inside out. DEIMOS grabs Villalobos and launches him hard into the barricade. Villalobos eats it but gets right back up and snarls.

Villalobos charges DEIMOS again but DEIMOS hoists him up over one shoulder, charges and powerslams Villalobos on the ring steps! VIllalobos lets out in agony but DEIMOS keeps the pressure on. He grabs Villalobos by the head and sends him sailing head first into the ring post.

The camera closes in on Villalobos’ face and we see that he is busted open. DEIMOS takes hold of Los Lobo Loco and slides him into the ring. Once in the ring DEIMOS drops a series of hard boots on Villalobos. The Final Omen bends Villalobos over, threads his arm through his legs and then lifts him up for a pump handle neckbreaker that earns him a two count.

DEIMOS keeps Villalobos subdued with some stiff boots but then gets him up again. DEIMOS looks for another kick but Villalobos grabs his foot and hits him with a dragon screw to put DEIMOS down. Villalobos wipes the blood away from his face and then tastes it, bleeding doesn’t bother the Tag Team Champion.

“If Villalobos wants to have a chance in this contest then he needs to counter wrestle. His power moves will not help him against a man of DEIMOS’ size.” Balk remarks.

“So like half of his arsenal is out the window.” Murphy says.

DEIMOS tries to rally back with a haymaker but Villalobos ducks under it and hits DEIMOS with a chop block to the leg that he has been targeting. DEIMOS drops and Villalobos drops an elbow to that same knee. Villalobos applies a modified figure four but DEIMOS gets to the ropes quickly.

Villalobos, like a wild animal, drops some boots to DEIMOS knee and then steps off of the middle rope with another hard stomp. DEIMOS sits up but Villalobos winds up and kicks him right in the face. The camera zooms in now to show that DEIMOS is bleeding from the mouth. Villalobos looks pleased with this results and covers but DEIMOS powers out at two.

DEIMOS is incensed by the sight of his own blood and charges Villalobos but Villalobos drops his shoulder and uses DEIMOS’ momentum to carry the big man over with a death valley driver! DEIMOS is down and Villalobos puts the injured leg on the bottom rope. Villalobos then steps off of the middle rope again and drops a knee onto the inside of DEIMOS’ knee.

“Choppin’ down the tree. Smart tactic. I would have never thought of that.” Murphy says.

“That could be why you were extremely unsuccessful as a wrestler.” Balk says.

“Man I have feelings and you hurt them all of the time.” Murphy says.

“I apologize Cyril.” Balk says.

“...for what?” Murphy replies.

Villalobos turns DEIMOS over and lifts his leg up and then drives The Final Omen’s knee hard into the canvas. Like a man possessed Villalobos does this three more times before he again applies a modified figure four leg lock, DEIMOS is trapped in the middle of the ring.

DEIMOS is able to roll over and reverse the pressure which forces Villalobos to break the hold. The two stand, DEIMOS hobling and Villalobos leaps up for an uncharacteristic head scissors but DEIMOS holds him up and dives forward with a Fall of Man bucklebomb! Villalobos is rocked, sitting bloodied in the corner.

“This is DEIMOS’ opportunity! He has to seize it!” Balk says.

DEIMOS pulls Villalobos out of the corner and sets him him for the Blood Omen ripcord lariat but as he goes for the lariat Villalobos ducks under it and rolls DEIMOS up! Villalobos puts all of his weight on DEIMOS’ bad leg and then puts his own legs on the ropes for leverage. The referee doesn’t see it and counts the three!


The bell sounds and DEIMOS can’t believe what happened. Villalobos exits the ring and regroups with his sister, laughing. DEIMOS stands, hobbling and argues with the referee. The referee claims that he didn’t see Villalobos’ feet on the ropes so DEIMOS grabs him and nails him with a Blood Omen. DEIMOS then turns to face Villalobos, a look of pure rage on the latter’s face.

The next match sees the first ever Elysium World Champion Erik Holland make his way to the ring to a chorus of cheers. Chants of “Welcome back!” shower the Weapon of Mass Destruction as he walks to the ring with a barbed wire baseball bat over his shoulder.

Out next is F.M. Young and she is followed by her manager Jake Archer. Archer is wheeling a shopping cart full of weapons and is sporting his signature shit eating grin. The two reach the ring and Archer parks the shopping cart. Young enters the ring and the referee explains the rules. Young shoves him out of the way.

The bell sounds and Young approaches Holland. She slaps him in the face and he loves it. Holland throws the bat down and he smashes Young in the face with a forearm shot. Young responds with one of her own. Next thing we know these two psychos are going blow for blow.

“The greatest Iron Champion of all time against perhaps the most sadistic World Champion that a company could ask for. This one is going to break down very quickly.” Balk says.

Young hits Holland with a knee to the mid-section and then tries to drive his face down into the barbed wire of the baseball bat but Holland catches her with an uppercut. Archer takes a garbage can out from the shopping cart and tosses it into the ring and Young catches it.

“Jake Archer is going to be annoying as fuck in this match and I love it.” Murphy says.

Young charges at Holland with the garbage can but he hits the ropes and nails it with a Yakuza kick that sends the garbage can right into Young’s face. Young drops the garbage can and rushes Holland only for him to pick her up and drop her with a spinebuster onto the can, flattening it.

In an effort to help his charge, Archer slides a steel chair into Young. Holland jumps up and looks for a leaping elbow into his prone opponent but Young holds up the chair and Holland drives his own elbow into it. With Holland momentarily subdued Young sets up the chair. Young gets Holland up and drops him with a swinging neckbreaker onto the set of the chair, bending it flat.

Young then makes her way over to a corner and begins removing the turnbuckle pad. As soon as she gets it off Holland is back up. He charges in and hits her with a body avalanche from behind which sends her sternum first into the corner. Young falls through the ropes onto the apron.

“I can’t pick a winner in this one. They are both insane.” Murphy says.

Holland joins Young on the apron. Archer tries to distract Holland but gets kicked right in the face for his trouble. Young tries to rush Holland but Holland lifts her up and brings her off of the apron with a uranage right onto the shopping cart! There is a collective gasp from Toronto as Holland gets Young back up and slides her into the ring.

Once in the ring Young looks as if she is in severe pain. Holland goes to grab her from behind but Young has her hands on the barbed wire bat. She turns and swings it like a golf club right into Holland’s jaw! Holland staggers into the corner with the exposed turnbuckle and Young uses all of her might to charge in after him.

“This has been an all out war from the get go. They are leaving nothing in the ring!” Balk says.

Holland has his back to Young as she charges in. Young hits him with a dropkick to the back of the head that sends him face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Holland drops to his back and Young leaps up to the top rope. She comes off with the Battery Powered Bombshell and it connects perfectly. Young covers and gets the three count.


Archer enters the ring holding his face but he is ecstatic! He is jumping up and down as Young drops to a knee. Archer helps her up and Young looks right into the camera. She motions to her waist and then shoves the cameraman to the ground.
