•IN RING•
Welcome to the show ladies and gentlemen. This show didn’t start with a match, oh no, it started with that smug little bastard Ned Thomas coming out to the ring. Thomas said that although this was the last show of 2018, it would be the first show of a new era in Elysium. Thomas then introduced the owner and founder of Shure Shot Enterprises, Gavine Shure!
Shure came to the ring to a mixed reaction but the flamboyantly dressed business man came to the ring and attempted to embrace the fans at ringside. Shure entered the ring and took the microphone. Shure explained his most sincere feelings towards Elysium and it’s fans. He went on to say that even if Finale is victorious against Gabe Shelley, Elysium would possess the tools to continue as an incredible company and he was happy to be a part of it, even if it was only for a brief period.
Shure went on to say that he would be watching every match closely because should Finale lose to Shelley, Shure Shot and Ramona Holiday have big plans for Elysium.

•SINGLES MATCH•
ANICA TOWNSEND vs. TALIA AREANO
This match had serious build up. Anica Townsend lost to Talia Areano’s Paradise Tango partner Azurine Vebbins at Chapter VI and then attempted to injure Vebbins but Areano ran in for the save. Then at the first Glitches event Townsend cost Vebbins her match with Camille Harrington. Following that match Areano once again chased Townsend off and then when Areano went looking for Townsend backstage Townsend took Areano out and then smashed a light tube over Vebbins head when the latter tried to save her partner.
It was time for revenge and Areano looked angry. The sound of the ring bell had barely begun to dissipate and Areano had taken Townsend down with a vile spear. After several roundhouse kicks, one cracked Townsend right in the jaw. Areano climbed to the top rope and came crashing down on Townsend with the Solar Shower stomp.
“Areano has had enough of Anica Townsend, Areano wants to put a definitive end to the issue between Townsend and Paradise Tango.” Balk said.
Townsend tried to rally back to by shooting Areano into the ropes but Areano hit a moonsault that took Townsend down. Townsend tried to rally back to her feet but Areano caught her with a boot to the mid-section and then hit her with the Slice of Heaven! Areano covered and got the three count, advancing to the title match.
Winner: Talia Areano
•BACKSTAGE•
There was a commotion backstage as at least a dozen of FORCE Security Solutions’ men stood were breaking up a fight between Erik Holland & Marcus LeVine and Enigma Protocol. Insults and threats were exchanged but neither team got their hands on the other.

•SINGLES MATCH•
AZURINE VEBBINS vs. YUUTO TATSUGAMI
The next match began with newcomer Yuuto Tatsugami bowing to his opponent Azurine Vebbins. Vebbins had a “what the fuck?” kind of look on her face but when Tatsugami held out his hand for a shake, Vebbins accepted it. “Vebbins is gonna have a tough time with this guy, he thinks that he is a reincarnation of a Japanese Dragon God.” Murphy said, “Which is fucking stupid.” he added.
What wasn’t stupid is how this match started off. The two locked up but Tatsugami broke the hold with a hard kick to Vebbins’ knee. Tatsugami shot her into the ropes and followed that up with a high knee to which Vebbins responded with a high flipping dropkick. Vebbins flashed Tatsugami a smile and then lifted him up and over with a Northern Lights suplex. The Dragon Lord was able to kick out and Toronto started to get behind this guy.
A change came when Tatsugami evaded an open palm strike from Vebbins and was able to hit his Spirit of Ryujin snap dragon suplex. Tatsugami got a two count but Vebbins got her foot on the bottom rope. Upon closer inspection we could see that Vebbins was favouring her neck, despite the ridiculous halo that she wears. Seeing this, Tatsugami stalked Vebbins and then put her into the mat with a sling blade.
Vebbins got up to her knees and Balk remarked that no one was home. Tatsugami grabbed both of Vebbins’ wrists and wound up for the Yotsui knee strike but at the last second Vebbins slipped through and rolled Tatsugami up for a three count!
Winner: Azurine Vebbins
Following the bell both competitors stood in the ring with Vebbins still favouring the back of her neck. Tatsugami stood up and although he looked disappointed, he bowed to Vebbins once again and shook her hand. Tatsugami then left the ring, leaving Vebbins looking confused but pleased.
•LOCKER ROOM•
A posse stood in the back comprised of Jake Archer, his client F.M. Young, and Glitches roster member Spectre. Archer was doing his best to pump Young up but Young remained silent, she simply continued taping her hands. Archer called her the uncrowned champion and called Daniels a usurper, claiming that it was time for a coup. Young listened to all of this, unflinching, until finally she looked up at Archer and said, “Worry about your own match, Jake.”
•TAG TEAM MATCH•
JAKE ARCHER & SPECTRE vs. NEO TOKYO
The next match saw the grand return to the ring of Elysium Original Jake Archer and his new protege Spectre, taking on the hot new tag team of Neo Tokyo, Brooklyn Light and Iota Psi. Light and Archer started the match with Archer extending his hand for a hand shake but Light kicked it away and hit him with a forearm smash. Light hit Archer with a series of big kicks and strikes before shooting Archer into the ropes and a short arm clothesline. Light tagged in Psi and then dropped Archer with a death valley driver and climbed to the top rope to hit Archer with Hope Rides Alone and then Psi hit a senton bomb from another turnbuckle. Psi covered but only got a two count.
“Jake Archer is the greatest competitor in Elysium history,” Murphy remarked “if you don’t count wins.” Archer scrambled to his corner and tagged in his protege Spectre. Spectre caught Psi with a palm strike and then when Psi tried to recover on the middle rope, Spectre was able to hit her with a 619. Psi rallied back with an enziguiri and then knocked Archer off of the apron. After a pele kick from Psi to to Spectre and then tagged in Light. Psi hit Spectre with a shiranui with help from Light and then Light followed through with a running knee strike to complete the Bubblegum Crisis. Light covered for the three count.
Winners: Neo Tokyo
•BACKSTAGE•
Finale stood in the gorilla position readying himself for his match. Ramona Holiday approached him and tried to speak with him but Finale said nothing, he just walked through the curtain. Finale stopped halfway and then turned back to say, “This is all your fault.” before disappearing.
For Control of Elysium
•SINGLES MATCH•
GABE SHELLEY vs. FINALE
The next contest is deeply personal. The bell sounds and Shelley rushes Finale, the two hammered away at each other. Shelley wanted revenge for Finale attacking him in Shelley’s family home. Shelley got the upperhand early with big shots but Finale shoved him off. Finale went for a ripcord but Shelley flew back with a pele kick to the head. Finale then answered with his Buffalo ‘66 tornado enziguri. Finale chose not to cover, he sent Shelley over the top rope to the outside.
Finale went for a suicide dive to the outside, because apparently he does that, but Shelley caught him with a forearm smash to the face. Shelley with a look of complete malice on his face went to send Finale into the guardrail but Finale countered it and sent Shelley in back first. Finale then picked up the steel steps and tossed them right at Shelley, hitting marVel in the face. The referee called for them to get back into the ring but Finale screamed that he’d fire his ass if he didn’t shut the fuck up. Nice.
Shelley was busted open now. “This guy loves bleeding.” Murphy remarked. True. Finale set the steps up and then positioned Shelley for the Snake Oil jump swinging neckbreaker but Shelley reversed it and dropped Finale on the steps with a t-bone suplex. Finale rolled around on the outside, holding his lower back. It seems that we had our first real injury at this point.
“Finale has had a history of back issues, that t-bone suplex made have aggravated that.” Balk said. I said it first. Shelley rolled Finale back into the ring and called for the end. Shelley went for a back stabber but Finale held him up and flipped Shelley onto his back. Finale transitioned into a deadlift powerbomb but his back wouldn’t allow it. Shelley impressively rolled through into a Boston Crab and Finale screamed out in pain, a look of agony that we had never seen on Finale’s face.
At this point Ramona Holiday ran down to the ring and pleaded with Finale to submit. Finale stopped screaming for just a moment to stare at Holiday. He then flipped her off and used every ounce of strength in his legs and arms to walk to the ropes where Holiday stood and grab the bottom rope. The referee broke the hold and Finale dragged himself up using the ropes.
Shelley rushed Finale looking for something but Finale was able to leap and hit Shelley with a snap jumping side kick to the temple. Finale then set Shelley up for the Stripper’s Real Name but Shelley, knowing Finale so well, was able to reverse it. Shelley spun Finale around, spit blood in his face, and then went for the reVolt but Finale reversed it into an implant DDT. “It’s going to be hard for either man to hit their finishing moves, they have battled so many times in the past. They know each other so well.”
Finale got to his feet and made his way to the corner where he stripped away the turnbuckle pad. The referee almost told him not to but then remembered that he liked having a job. Shelley got back up, his face a full crimson mask, and Finale tossed the turnbuckle pad at him. Shelley, an erupting volcano of anger, charged at Finale but got poked in the eye. Finale picked Shelley up and tossed him with a lawn dart right into the exposed turnbuckle.
At this point Gavin Shure and Ned Thomas made their way down the ramp. Holiday tried to stop them but Shure calmed her down, explaining that he just wanted to see the end of this match close up. Finale spotted Shure and Thomas so he kept Shelley down with a chin lock and then started tearing at Shelley’s head wound while staring at Shure and Thomas.
Finale got Shelley up and then pointed at Shure and Thomas. Finale went for the Stripper’s Real Name again but again Shelley countered it. Before Shelley could capitalize Finale kicked him in the mid-section and planted Shelley face first into the mat with the Bible Burner! “Bible Burner, Bible Burner! That’s Godless’ finishing move!” Murphy exclaimed. Finale covered but Shelley amazingly kicked out at two.
Both men were exhausted at this point and Finale couldn’t believe what had happened. Finale measured Shelley and went for a lariat but Shelley evaded it and lifted Finale up for a Lumbar Check! Finale writhed on the mat in agony, his back completely fucked. Shelley then furiously stomped on Finale’s lower back, forcing Finale to fight up just to survive. Shelley then set Finale up for the reVolt yet again but Finale fought out of it. Shelley then put one step between them and blasted Finale in the face with The Full Effect superkick! “And that, the signature move of David Blazenwing! This has to be over!” Balk said. Shelley covered and this time it was Finale who kicked out at two.
The two rivals lay on the mat, the audience in Toronto was on their feet. Shure, Thomas, and Holiday all watched with anticipation from ringside. Both men started to stir and it was Shelley who was up first. Shelley attempted to toss a kick but Finale took him over with a dragon screw and then attempted to transition into his Nevermind submission but Shelley fought out of it. The two scrambled up to their feet and Finale leaped up looking for a snap rana but Shelley held him up and tossed Finale back first into the exposed turnbuckle with a buckle bomb! Finale hit back first and staggered out of the corner.
Shelley called for it and then smashed Finale with the Stripper’s Real Name! “What disrespect! Shelley hit Finale with his own finishing move!” Balk said. But not one to lay down, Finale stood back up and begged Shelley to do it again. Shelley rushed in and Finale went for a high knee but Shelley got behind him and nailed Finale with a backstabber, then transitioned into a crossface. “Bright Lights! Bright Lights!” Balk said, “Can Finale’s destroyed back withstand this hold? If he submits, he loses Elysium!”
Shure, Thomas, and Holiday all pound on the mat. Shure and Thomas wanted Finale to submit for their own interests but Holiday didn’t want to see her partner’s career end there in Toronto. Finale screamed out in pain as Shelley wrenched back with all of his might. “Let it end! Let it be over!” Shelley screamed as he pulled back even hard. Finale had no choice, he tapped out.
Winner: Gabe Shelley
After the match Ramona Holiday, Ned Thomas, and Gavin Shure all entered the ring. Shelley was tended to by physicians but he pushed them away. Shelley pushed the other three away as well, Shelley went to check on his rival. The bloodied Shelley helped Finale up to his feet and embraced him but Shure had grabbed a microphone.
“It is over, it’s all over. I am sorry Finale but Elysium is no longer yours. You said that you would cede control to the three of us and that is exactly what has to happen. We thank you for everything you have done for this company but Rory Costigan...this is your finale.” Shure said.
Just then Holiday came up from behind and hit Finale with a low blow. Finale dropped to a knee and looked at his partner in horror. From the crowd came three figures. “What the hell? What is Ramona Holiday doing?” Balk yelled, “And look! Here come the members of Static Age! Tommy Kapstone, Kara Scene, and Leland Morgan slid into the ring and swarmed Gabe Shelley! Holiday then hit the ropes and nailed Finale with a springboard cutter. Holiday, Kapstone, Scene, and Morgan then proceeded to destroy Finale and Shelley, dumping them to the outside.
“The age of the Costigans in Elysium is over! No more Godless. No more Finale. Shure Shot Enterprises now completely owns Elysium Pro Wrestling. This company is ours ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to our world.” Shure said before dropping the microphone. Shure, Thomas, Holiday, and the members of Static Age then stood tall in the ring.

HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP
•SINGLES MATCH•
AZURINE VEBBINS vs. TALIA AREANO
It was time to crown a new Hybrid Champion when tag team partners Azurine Vebbins and Talia Areano went at it. The two shook hands to start the match and then we got the bell. Areano came out with some big arm drags and then was able to ground Vebbins with a hook kick to the mush. Areano came off of the second rope with a tornado ddt for a quick two count. “Azurine Vebbins is favouring her neck after the abuse she took from Yuuto Tatsugami earlier.” Balk mentioned.
Areano started flying all over the ring, hitting Vebbins with dropkicks and running knees that had The Adorkable Angel on the ropes. Areano looked like she was gearing up for the Slice of Heaven when Vebbins spun Areano around and smashed her in the face with an open palm strike. This busted Areano’s nose open and blood began to pour out.
“Talia Areano is staggering around the ring like Stevie Wonder!” Murphy said as Areano’s vision was affected by her smashed nose. Vebbins took the opportunity to lay into her partner with a series of big strikes before planting her with a crucifix ddt for a two count.
Vebbins showed mercy to her opponent but Areano caught her with a leg sweep that put Vebbins down to a knee. Areano used her speed to hit the ropes and come back with a Rush Hour sliding forearm strike that smashed Vebbins right in the face. Areano covered but only got a two count.
“Talia Areano wants so badly to be a champion in Elysium. She has been a champion everywhere else.” Balk said.
“Yeah but this isn’t everywhere else. This is fucking Elysium so everywhere else doesn’t matter.” Murphy replied.
At this point Vebbins rolled out of the ring to recover but Areano was having none of it. Areano ascended to the top rope, pointed down at her opponent and then came off of the top rope with a moonsault to the outside. Areano crashed down on Vebbins and then rolled her back into the thing.
Areano climbed to the top rope again but Vebbins was back up. Vebbins climbed up to the top rope with Areano and then brought her off with a top rope ddt! Areano was absolutely dazed after this one so Vebbins got her up and went for the Pearly Gatekeeper but Areano blocked it! Areano attempted Slice of Heaven again but Vebbins caught her with two knees to the mid-section, a superkick, and then pulled her into a ddt to complete the Sweetheart Sock Hop. Vebbins covered and got the three count.
Winner: New Hybrid Champion, Azurine Vebbins
After the bell Vebbins did not celebrate, she collected the championship and knelt down beside her partner who was bloodied and possibly concussed. Vebbins helped Areano up and in turn Areano raised her partner’s hand while Vebbins’ other hand held the Hybrid Championship high in the air.
•PARKING LOT•
Backstage we see both Gabe Shelley and Finale get thrown out of the building by FORCE Security Solutions. The two men can barely stand when in the distance we see the cherries of police cars. Both men lay on the ground, Finale the worse for wear of the two. Shelley stood and looked down at his rival and then back at the police that were coming to escort them off of the property. Shelley had a “this ain’t ova” look on his face.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
•I QUIT MATCH•
F.M. YOUNG vs. ALYSSA DANIELS ©
From the get go, this match was about punishment and who could take more of it. Young walked right up to Daniels after the bell sounded and smashed her with a hard uppercut that staggered the champion but Daniels replied with a forearm shot and a spinning heel kick of her own. Daniels whipped Young into the corner but Young came back with a reverse elbow.
Following a sick yakuza kick from the challenger, Young kept Daniels grounded with some stomps which targeted the champion’s knee. Young then gathered Daniels up like a baby and tossed her into the corner, knee first. Young went out onto the apron to try a springboard of some kind but Daniels charged at her with a helluva kick. Young moved out of the way and Daniels draped her foot over the top rope. Young took hold of it, jumped off of the apron and tried to hyperextend the knee of the champion. It didn’t work but it sure fucking hurt Daniels.
“Get the fucking weapons out ladies, this is an I Quit Match!” Murphy exclaimed.
Young dragged Daniels out of the ring and hit her with a snap suplex on the entrance ramp. Young then stomped on Daniels’ knee a few more times against the steel grating. Daniels got up and tried to put some distance between herself and Young, walking up the ramp.
“Dangerous territory up at the top of the rampway Murphy.” Balk said.
Young charged Daniels at the top of the ramp near the edge of the stage and at the last second Daniels popped up and hit Young with a hurricanranna that sent the challenger flying off of the side of the stage to the concrete below. Daniels then hobbled and dove off of the stage with a high angle senton that took Young down. Daniels got to her feet and instructed the referee. The ref asked Young if she quit and she screamed “No!”.
“I don’t think she quits.” Murphy quipped.
Daniels proceeded to lead Young through the crowd but Young took hold of a fans chair. Daniels must have felt the slight hindrance of movement and turned just in time to eat a chair right to the mid-section. Young smashed the chair over Daniels’ back and then sandwiched the champion’s bad knee between the steel. Young then stepped off of a chair and came down with a stomp onto the chair that held Daniels’ knee. Young called to the referee.
“Do you quit Alyssa?” the referee asked.
“No!” Daniels replied.
Clearly pissed with that response Young began to mercilessly stomp on Daniels’ knee, bending the chair into an unrecognizable shape. Young took the chair from Daniels knee and then hit her over the back with it one more time. Young dumped Daniels over the barricade and then put Daniels in the ring. Young crotched Daniels onto the ring post from the outside and then applied a ring post figure four leg lock! The referee asked Daniels again if she quit and again the champion screamed no.
“I know that Alyssa Daniels is a proud champion but she has her whole career ahead of her. This is Young’s last chance at the title if she loses, not Alyssa’s. She needs to consider giving up.” Balk said.
The hold was locked in for some time but with the blood rushing to her head, Young had to let go. Pity. Young took a second to gain her bearings and this gave Daniels enough time to scoot away. Young slid into the ring and charged the champion but Daniels popped up and planted Young with Amnesia!
“Amnesia! This could be a turning point for Alyssa Daniels.” Balk said.
“Yeah but Young won’t quit after that. No fucking way.” Murphy said.
The referee asked Young and she just shoved him away. Daniels used the ropes to pull herself up and when Young got to her feet Daniels rushed her again but Young floored her with the Man-Machine Interface discus lariat! Daniels turned inside out and landed on her face. Young stood Daniels up and went for her version of the shiranui which she calls the Superchick but Daniels shoved Young forward which sent Young flying into the corner. Young’s face missed the top turnbuckle and instead hit the ring post!
“Did you hear that sound? Good God!” Balk remarked.
Young staggered back right into a Lights Out superkick from Daniels. Both competitors dropped and the audience in The Sanctum was on their feet. Both started to stir and once they were both up to their feet the match continued just like it began, they started exchanging strikes. Young missed one strike and Daniels caught her in a muay thai clinch. Daniels then began hitting Young with hellacious knees to the face (from her good knee of course). Daniels was incensed, she would not stop.
“The champion is a woman possessed!” Balk said. “She is looking to end this once and for all!”
Daniels runs out of stamina and releases the clinch only to bring Young into another Amnesia! Young goes down but perhaps in her loopy state she refuses to stay down so Daniels charges in again and plants Young with another Amnesia! This time Young drops like a sack of potatoes but Daniels does too. The champion pulls herself to a corner while the referee checks on Young.
“Young is out fucking cold! What the hell do we do now?” Murphy said.
The referee looked a bit perplexed as he could not rouse the challenger. He had no choice but to call for the bell and award the victory to the champion.
Winner: Still World Champion, Alyssa Daniels
The bell sounded and there were some members of The Sanctum who did not like this decision. Daniels herself looked a little disappointed as she hobbled up to her feet. Daniels limped over to the referee and collected her championship.
“This is a crime! This is bullshit!” Murphy screamed, “Young did not quit! This match should continue!”
“How can it? She is out cold. I understand your thirst for competition Murphy but this is about the health of our athletes. This match has to end.” Balk said.
“Well it’s not a victory for Daniels. She is no winner and she is no fucking champion. This match needs to continue, this is complete bullshit and everyone here knows it!”

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
•CAGE OF DEATH II•
HOLLAND & LEVINE vs. ENIGMA PROTOCOL (c)
The main event saw the Cage of Death lowered before the competitors could arrive. Strapped to the sides and top of the cage were various weapons available for use. Steel chairs, a kendo stick, light tubes, a garbage can, a table, and perhaps most horrible of all - barbed wire. Once the cage set, the combatants made their way to the ring. Erik Holland was out first.
“Erik Holland is the only person in this match to have competed in Elysium’s Cage of Death before.” Balk remarked, “I believe that gives him an edge.”
“Being a real fucking tag team is the only edge in this match. Holland and LeVine can’t work together. They won’t even come out together.” Murphy answered, “Enigma Protocol are the greatest tag team in Elysium history. This match is going to be a bloodbath that they walk away from with the titles.”
“I do not think anyone is walking away from this.” Balk quipped.
Marcus LeVine was out next, flanked by Cassie Sykes. LeVine entered the cage where Holland stood and the two watched as the champions made their entrance. With Isabella Villalobos leading them down the ramp, Miguel Villalobos and Ryan Gates were focussed on the cage with their championships over their shoulders. The two men entered the ring and the referee stood between the two teams.
With Sykes and Isabella on the outside, the two teams squared off in the cage and the bell sounded. Right from the get go Holland and LeVine seemed to be arguing about something which saw Villalobos and Gates try to get the drop on them, but it was a ruse. Holland met Gates with a forearm smash and LeVine caught Villalobos in the gut with a shoot kick.
“A clever plan from Holland and LeVine.” Balk said.
“Fun trick fuck boys. You can only use it once.” Murphy said.
Holland sent Gates into LeVine with an Irish whip and LeVine caught Gates with a hard kick to the chest that dropped Gates. LeVine then took hold of Villalobos and sent him into Holland with an Irish whip. Holland hit Villalobos with a back body drop that sent Villalobos right into the cage wall. Villalobos landed directly on his head with a thud.
The first Elysium World Champion then started grinding Gates’ face against the cage and held it there while calling to LeVine. LeVine backed up some and then charged, hitting Gates with a kick that sandwiched Gates’ head between the cage and LeVine’s boot. Villalobos tried to rally and save his partner but he ran right into a double spinebuster from Holland and LeVine.
“You were saying about teamwork?” Balk said.
“It’s early.” Murphy said, “Plenty of time for Holland to fuck up like he usually does.”
Holland and LeVine turn their attention back to Gates, both driving their boots into Gates’ head and in turn, grinding it against the cage. It was at this point that the wolf arose and Villalobos collected a kendo stick. Los Lobo Loco let out a howl and cracked LeVine in the back of the head twice and when Holland turned to face him Villalobos wound up and hit Holland hard enough in the head that it broke several pieces of the kendo stick. Holland dropped and Villalobos earned a reprieve for his team.
With both of his opponents down, Villalobos began to scale the cage. He shouted something to Gates, who nodded and mounted LeVine, choking him with the splintered kendo stick. Villalobos reached the top of the cage and pulled down a coil of barbed wire, however, it got stuck.
“If Villalobos can get that barbed wire loose then it could spell serious trouble for Holland and LeVine.” Balk said.
Holland was back up and he took hold of a garbage can. Holland bashed it over Gates’ head, which stopped the choking of LeVine. Holland then rand and hit Villalobos in the back with the garbage can as Villalobos was still perched on the top rope. Holland placed the garbage can on it’s side and called to LeVine. The two challengers then set Villalobos up and pulled him off of the top rope with a double powerbomb onto the garbage can, flattening it. Villalobos was able to bring the barbed wire with him but the dude was fucked.
At this point Gates had been given enough time to retrieve a bundle of light tubes. Armed with one in each hand, Gates ran up to LeVine and Holland. Gates brought both of his arms down and smashed the light tubes over each of his opponents’ respective heads. Both Holland and LeVine drop, all four competitors were momentarily still as their respective managers cheer them on from the outside.
“This is every bit as violent as I expected.” Balk said.
“I know right? I’m hard.” Murphy added. Yum.
Villalobos was back up now and he had his beloved barbed wire. Villalobos approached Holland and knelt down beside him. Holland was bleeding from the forehead but Villalobos was not satisfied. Villalobos tried to wrap the barbed wire around Holland’s throat but Holland fought against it. Instead, Villalobos wrapped the barbed wire around his own hand and began furiously punching Holland in the forehead with it. This opened up Holland even more, we’re talking Muta-esque at this point.
With Holland down, bleeding like a stuck pig Enigma Protocol turned their attention to LeVine. Gates had kept LeVine down with some stomps, which allowed Villalobos the time to retrieve two steel chairs. Villalobos set the two chairs up facing each other and then laid the remaining light tubes across them like a bridge. Gates then sent LeVine into the ropes and on his return they dropped LeVine right across the tubes with a flapjack cutter that they call Shrodinger’s Cat but is commonly referred to as the 3D. Gates went to cover LeVine’s bloodied torso but Villalobos screamed “No!”. He pointed at the table.
“When is enough, enough? Both Holland and LeVine are bloody messes. Just pin them and be done with it.” Balk said.
Villalobos called out to his sister and she produced a bottle from her jacket and tossed it over the cage into the ring. The camera was able to zoom in to reveal it as lighter fluid. Gates set up the table just as Sykes speared Isabella to the ground on the outside. Villalobos tossed the lighter fluid to Gates and then went to stop the assault on his sister.
Holland is back up at this point and he is armed with a steel chair. Holland smashed Villalobos in the back with it but Los Lobo Loco simply turned around and stared at Holland with a menacing glare. Holland tossed the chair to Villalobos, who caught it, as you do, and then nailed the chair with The Babysitter’s Dead big boot which such force that Villalobos was sent through the ropes, through the door and to the outside.
“Enigma Protocol wins!” Murphy screamed.
“It is pinfall or submission only. Escape means nothing.” Balk said.
“Fuck.” Murphy replied.
Armed with a piece of glass, LeVine punched Gates in the head, sticking him with the shard. LeVine then took hold of the lighter fluid and sprayed it on the table. LeVine produced a lighter and set the table ablaze. At this point Holland walked over, a bloody fucking mess, and lifted Gates up for a powerbomb. LeVine ascended to the top rope and then came off with a meteora on Gates just as Holland dropped Gates with a last ride powerbomb right through the flaming table. Holland covered and the referee mercifully counted Gates down.
Winners: New Tag Team Champions, Erik Holland & Marcus LeVine
“Death Becomes Him” and the cage was lifted. The Villalobos siblings were down on the outside as Cassie Sykes entered the ring with the Tag Team Titles. Both Holland and LeVine could barely stand when handed their prize. The shot pulled out to show the carnage all over the ring and ringside area. We then cut to the bloodied champions as they cradled their new trophies.
