As Anthony Xavier makes his entrance for the championship match F.M. Young runs down the ramp with a steel chair and smashes him in the back. Young drags Xavier down the ramp to ringside where she hits him with a knee to the mid-section. Young lifts Xavier up and drops him on the apron with a hard powerbomb. The crowd in Vegas is not on board with this bullshit. Young rolls Xavier into the ring and then takes her time entering. Sloan Young stands ringside cheering her charge on.
Thad Balk: I know that Anthony Xavier had a plan tonight but I feel that has gone out the window with how F.M. Young has opted to start this match.
Filth Murphy: This is there first one on one meeting but these two have faced off in multi-person matches twice before. Young wasn’t able to win either of those.
Thad Balk: Regardless of that, these two know each other pretty well. As much as I do not agree with it from a sportsmanship standpoint, Young attacking Xavier before the match has given her a distinct advantage.
The bell sounds as Young gets Xavier up and then plants him with a huge lariat that turns the champion inside out. Young kneels on the mat smiling as Xavier lays face down. Young drops a series of knees into the small of Xavier’s back and then she grabs his chin, drops a knee into his back and wrenches back with a modified camel clutch. Xavier has nowhere to go but he refuses to submit. Young wrenches back with all of her might but Xavier begins to crawl towards the ropes.
Filth Murphy: Listen, I know that I’m no intellectual super giant but even I know that there are no rope breaks in an Iron Rules Match because there are no disqualifications.
Thad Balk: Because I explained that to you at the top of the show.
Filth Murphy: Yes but I retained it!
Xavier uses the ropes to pull himself out of the ring which effectively breaks the hold. Xavier takes a breather on the outside but Young is right there to hit him with a baseball slide to the face. Xavier goes down and it feels like all of the air has been let out of the Thomas & Mack Centre. Young takes her time exiting the ring as Sloan stands over Xavier, berating him. Young gets Xavier up and hits him with another knee to the mid-section. Young lifts Xavier up for another powerbomb but Xavier is able to reverse the momentum. Xavier lifts Young up, takes a few quick steps forward and drops her with an Alabama slam onto the ring steps. Vegas explodes.
Thad Balk: What impact! Anthony Xavier is not playing here in Las Vegas, Nevada. This clean cut upstart came to fight.
The Submission Magician backs away and takes refuge on the ramp in order to give himself time to recover a little bit. Sloan checks on Young who appears to be in a bad way. Xavier stands on the ramp but Young is also up. Young has fire in her eyes as she charges up the ramp right at Xavier but Xavier is ready for her. Young looks for a clothesline but Xavier transitions that into a huge hip toss which is quickly turned into a cross arm breaker! Young hits the ramp hard and is immediately caught in the hold. Young tries to fight on but Xavier has the move locked in tight.
Thad Balk: Iron Rules state that the winning fall or submission must occur in the ring but Xavier is inflicting all kinds of damage on Young’s right shoulder right now.
Filth Murphy: Yeah but does HE know that he can’t win out there?
Thad Balk: He is the most experienced Elysium roster member when it comes to Iron Rules Matches so I would say that yes he is aware of the rules.
Sloan tries to will Young on from the bottom of the ramp but Young has nowhere to go. Xavier is wrenching back with all of his might but somehow Young is able to use her legs to move onto her side Young then quickly reaches over, gets on her feet and lifts Xavier up for a slam but Xavier breaks his hold and lands on his feet. Xavier tries to strike first but Young takes him over with an impressive beal that sends Xavier flying through the air, down the ramp. Xavier lands at the bottom of the ramp with a thud, the sound of flesh colliding with steel. Xavier continues to roll down the aisle, finally coming to a stop a foot from the ring.
Thad Balk: F.M. Young’s power never ceases to amaze me.
Young reaches under the ring apron after subduing Xavier with a stomp to the head. Young pulls out a garbage can and a sick smile appears across her face. Sloan claps in support as Young holds the garbage can up high for Las Vegas to see. Young turns to face Xavier but he is up on the apron! Xavier jumps off of the apron and hits a dropkick stomp that puts Young on her back while driving the garbage can hard into her face! Xavier comes out of the stomp with a front roll and his expression shows that he wasn’t happy having to do that.
Filth Murphy: Why does Xavier look like someone just killed his dog?
Thad Balk: Despite being Iron Champion, Anthony Xavier almost never uses weapons. He chooses to win his matches based on his wrestling ability. He no doubt is ashamed of the lengths that he feels he must go to retain the title tonight.
Filth Murphy: He shouldn’t feel bad! He isn’t breaking any rules!
The Submission Magician grabs Young and rolls her into the ring. Young stands as Xavier steps through the ropes but Xavier is quicker. Xavier runs through a clothesline attempt from Young and hits the opposing ropes. On his return Xavier takes Young over with a snap head scissors takedown. Young tries to get right back up but Xavier is there to smash her with a lightning fast superkick. Young crumbles into the corner and Xavier backs up. Xavier then charges and leaps into the air before connecting with a high impact stinger splash. As Young starts to fall forward onto the mat Xavier hurries her along with a shove and falls into the first cover of the contest.
Thad Balk: The champion may make his fourth defence right here!

Young kicks out quickly after the two count. Xavier stands and keeps Young grounded with a series of quick kicks. Xavier stands Young up and sets her up for a Northern Lights suplex but Young fights out of it with a fast succession of jabs to Xavier’s right kidney. Xavier keeps hold of Young’s damaged right arm and while holding her wrist Xavier falls backward and forces all of Young’s own weight to drive Xavier’s foot into her shoulder. Young lets out in pain for the first time in the contest.
Thad Balk: What an inventive move, using Young’s body weight against her!
Filth Murphy: The dude knows what he’s doing but think of what he could do if he actually used the weapons! He might be unstoppable.
Thad Balk: Well he has been thus far.
With Young down again Xavier quickly stomps on her right shoulder. Xavier then quickly hoists himself up to the second rope and he leaps out of the corner with a diving double knee drop right onto Young’s shoulder, this earns a big pop from Vegas. Xavier looks to quickly transition into another cross arm breaker but Young sees it coming. She reaches out and grabs the bottom rope. This doesn’t force a break in the hold but Young uses her otherworldly strength to drag herself out of the ring to momentary safety.
Thad Balk: Young taking a page out of Xavier’s book there. Smart move from the One Woman Army.
Filth Murphy: See! Lady Hoss knows how to adapt and overcome. I don’t get that from wrestling’s Harry Potter.
Young and Sloan reconvene on the outside but before either woman has a chance to react Xavier comes flying over the top rope with a tope con giro! All three people go down and Vegas is on their feet for The Submission Magician. Xavier then grabs Young and slides her back into the ring. In the second before Xavier strikes, Young sees that Sloan is still down on the outside. Young’s expression changes to one of murderous rage. Xavier enters the ring and charges looking for a rolling arm drag but Young stays on her feet. Young grabs Xavier from behind with a choke and she begins brutally punching him in the temple with her free hand.
Thad Balk: You can hear the connection! Bone on bone. Seeing her partner downed has put Young in another galaxy of anger.
Filth Murphy: I want to name my band Galaxy of Rage.
Thad Balk: You are in a band?
Filth Murphy: Who said that?
The audience gasps louder with each brutal shot. After a dozen hard punches Young starts dropping a flurry of elbows right down onto Xavier’s shoulder. With Xavier barely standing Young shoves him into the ropes and on his return Young plants him into the canvas with an Double A spinebuster! Vegas “oohs” and then “boos” as Young gets back up onto her feet. Young slides out of the ring and almost goes to check on Sloan but she stops herself. Instead Young reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. Young slides it into the ring, takes another look at Sloan and then goes back after Xavier.
Filth Murphy: See that! Sloan is down but F.M. chose to go and win the match. She does what she has to do to win.
Thad Balk: As much as I hate to say it, Sloan being taken out has actually seemed to benefit F.M.
Filth Murphy: Yeah because she’s fucking pissed.
In the ring Young leans the table up in a corner and then turns back to Xavier where he meets her with a leaping hook kick to the jaw. Young staggers backward and finds herself lying up against the table. Young is defenceless and Xavier looks around to the crowd. Vegas cheers Xavier on, giving him the go ahead and Xavier shakes his head but then darts forward. Just before Xavier is about to connect with Young she explodes out of the corner with a high knee to Xavier’s face which drops him.
Filth Murphy: Huh, would you look at that. Maybe Xavier doesn’t use weapons because he is really bad at it. It all makes sense now.
Thad Balk: I do not think that is the case at all. That was a case of Young’s explosiveness.
Young gets up and runs her thumb across her throat. Young looks for a suplex into the corner and the table but Xavier is able to wiggle out of it and land on his feet back to back with Young. Before Young can turn around Xavier spins around and catches her in standing Koji clutch! Young is locked up tight but she steps forward and then dives backward with Xavier on her back smashing him through the table in the corner! Xavier takes all of the impact and Young pulls him out of the corner and pins him.

Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner and new Elysium Pro Wrestling Iron Champion, “The One Woman Army” F.M. Young!
“Run You by” the Chemists is playing as the referee collects the Iron Championship from the timekeeper. The referee hands the title to Young and she raises it high in the air. Just as she does the audience turns their attention to the ramp where a figure is slowly walking to the ring.
Filth Murphy: We have a new champion but it looks like someone is coming to ruin her celebration.
Vitoly Volkov is dressed in a fine Italian suit and he is wearing a pair of black sunglasses. Volkov takes his time walking up the steps before he enters the ring. Xavier is up to a knee at this point and Young stands facing Volkov, ready to fight.
Filth Murphy: It looks like The God Tier is here to lay down the first challenge to the new champion.
Thad Balk: The Iron Division would certainly be up Volkov’s alley.
Volkov and Young stand nose to nose for several tense moments. Suddenly Volkov turns and bicycle kicks Xavier right in the face. Young smiles and lays down the Iron Championship. Volkov gets Xavier up and positions him right over the championship with Xavier’s head between Volkov’s legs.
Thad Balk: This is unnecessary. There is no reason for this!
Las Vegas starts tossing trash into the ring just as Volkov jumps and plants Xavier with the Nostromo piledriver right into the Iron Championship. Volkov stands and lets out a roar as the camera cuts to zoom in Xavier’s face, his forehead having been busted open. Young lifts up the Iron Championship and raises it high in the air.
Filth Murphy: Looks like Sin City is not kind to a guy as soft as Xavier!
Thad Balk: Are you kidding? This was an assault. Volkov has proven nothing here other than he is a coward.
Filth Murphy: You want to tell him that Textbook? Guy came out here to make a statement and I for one read him loud and clear.
Vitoly Volkov and F.M. Young stand over Anthony Xavier's prone form. Sloan Young slides herself into the ring, taking the Iron Championship out of F.M.'s hands. The manager moves around the Amazon to place the Championship across her chest and buckle it onto her (as is F.M.'s tradition in wearing her titles). Sloan then moves to get a microphone from the stagehand.
Sloan Young: In the grandest tradition of I told you so!
Sloan points down at Anthony and then at the Iron Championship and F.M. Young.
Sloan Young: Let this be a lesson to you, let this be a lesson to everyone in the locker room. Finale is a man who knows talent and knows what he's doing. The Buffalo Butcher is keeping with his brother's original theme for this place. Give us you're infuriated, burnt out and fed up and watch them transform. You have all witnessed the final act of true transformation. Thing's are just gearing up, from here on out, no more Mrs. and Mrs. Play Nice. The reason F.M. is doing this is simple, to get the shots she deserves. So that you good people don't have to sit here while mediocre trash like Xavier is force fed to you. So imagine my surprise when it came to my attention that someone else on this roster was being similarly ignored and disadvantaged.
Sloan gestures at Volkov.
Sloan Young: Vitoly Volkov is a man who needs no introduction. His skill does that for him, but he finds himself constantly overlooked for the weaker and more markable. With that in mind, not that Vitoly needs my representation. He simply know's an advantage when he see's it and like the brilliant man he is, he takes it. I present to you the United Front and Elysium Roster, they are coming for you! They are out to make sure that those actually deserving of the glory receive it and tonight was a good start!
Sloan laughs and whips her hand around in the air, indicating everyone and everywhere.
Sloan Young: Hit their music!
“Weather Man” By Dead Sara hits on the system and Volkov holds the ropes open for Sloan and F.M. as they go through and file out to mixed fan reaction.
