EPISODE VI: NightfallPepsi CentreDenver, ColoradoDecember 17th, 2017 The Elysium signature plays and then we get the opening video package. An edited version of “Nomad” by Death From Above 1979 begins playing over various action shots of Elysium wrestlers. The clips are stitched together giving you a sense of the action that is on deck. Each scene is colored by a red gradient and as each move is hit it is punctuated with added graphic effects. Adam Stryker clips Sam Hamilton with The Stryke out of nowhere. Alyssa Daniels sizes up Jamie Dorsey and runs at him, nailing him with Amnesia. Tiami Erickson comes at Jake Archer and blasts him with a shining wizard. Helena Handbasket hits Anthony Xavier with the Screw U! Knee. Ryleigh Mathis hits the ropes and puts K-Remix into the mat with the Magic Mirror wheelbarrow bulldog. SHIDO pulls himself up using the ropes. SHIDO then charges and breaks Banshee Muzzle hold that Vitoly Volkov has on Erik Holland by putting Volkov down with the Misfit Love sling blade! We then cut to studio shots. The first is of "The One Woman Army" F.M. Young completing a set of bench presses in the gym with the Iron Champion placed neatly on the floor beside her. The next shot shows K-Remix sitting backstage playing a Nintendo Switch with the Hybrid Championship in his lap. The final shot is that of Erik Holland standing with the World Championship over his shoulder and holding the Badd Breed flag high in the air. The shoot zooms out dramatically and the Frontline insignia burns onto the screen. Following all of the pyro and ballyhoo inside the Pepsi Center the shot whip pans to ringside in a seamless transition. There stands the voices of Elysium Pro Wrestling, the commanding presence that is Thad Balk and the haggard clown we call Filth Murphy. Thad Balk: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the final Elysium event of the year. This is Frontline: Nightfall live on the Battleground Network. I am “Textbook” Thaddeus Balk alongside my broadcast colleague Cyril “Filth” Murphy. Filth Murphy: Aw c’mon Textbook no one calls me Cyril. Who told you that was my name? Thad Balk: I have my ways. Tonight we have an excellent event to present to all of you, the card is one for the ages and it should be a brilliant event top to bottom. Would you not agree Filth? Filth Murphy: Oh hell yeah. I mean look at the opening fight, we’re gonna see “The Titaness” Samantha Hamilton take on the first lady of the Badd Breed, Tiami Erickson. Thad Balk: Ms. Erickson has been seething since we last saw her on Frontline. She was brutally attacked by SHIDO and now she is looking to vent her anger in contest with The Titaness. I personally can not wait to see how that match unfolds. Filth Murphy: Me either, gonna be a banger. Just like the match that will come after which sees “The Ringmaster” Adam Stryker take on former Hybrid Champion Ryleigh Mathis of Uprising. Thad Balk: Stryker was successful in his debut and a win over a former Hybrid Champion would likely put him in title contention, however, you know that the former champion Mathis wants another opportunity to defeat K-Remix to put Uprising back in the forefront of Elysium. And speaking of Uprising, the team of Madison Fitzpatrick and Liza Capernick will face off against The Enigma Protocol in a sort of consolation contest following both teams being eliminated from the Tag Team Grand Prix. Filth Murphy: I feel that The Enigma Protocol are the biggest threat to whoever takes them tag straps later tonight. These guys are only beginning to show what they can do and I think that they are the volcano that could level this company once it erupts. Uprising had better bring the goods. Thad Balk: Interesting analysis, I do not disagree. That being said we should move on and discuss the Iron Championship match for tonight. Dominant champion Anthony Xavier was defeated for the title at the last Frontline when “The One Woman Army” F.M. Young put him down. In her first defense attempt F.M. Young will go against Original Eight member Jake Archer. Filth Murphy: It’s Archer’s time! The G.O.A.T. has been here since the beginning and it’s finally time for him to ascend. Young is a beast but in this tale the goat is going to topple the predator. Thad Balk: You should write a children’s book Filth. I would love to see what would spill out of that mind of yours. It would be truly frightening, I imagine. Filth Murphy: Yeah probably. Fuck. Thad Balk: Following that contest we will see the former Iron Champion “The Submission Magician” Anthony Xavier look to exact revenge on a man who attacked him last week, “The God Tier” Vitoly Volkov. What do you think about that match-up Filth? Filth Murphy: I think that Xavier is a dead man. I think losing the title has crushed Xavier and that he is going to fall hard until he figures his shit out and learns how to adapt. The Magician is in danger of disappearing unless he evolves. Thad Balk: I do not know what has changed in you Mr. Murphy but you are on fire tonight. Filth Murphy: I’m sober. For now. Thad Balk: Of course. Well I hope you are lucid by the time our first of two main events take place because it is sure to be memorable. The team of Alyssa Daniels and Kevin Moss will team up as The Infinity Revolution to face Helena Handbasket and Hybrid Champion K-Remix, the...Swag Baskets...in a ladder match to determine who will become the first Elysium Tag Team Champions. Filth Murphy: If I’m bein’ honest Textbook, which I try to be, I’m a little disappointed in the promotion for this match. These teams talked a big game but the fact that this is a fucking LADDER MATCH seemed to elude them. This is the first match of this type here in Casa de Elysium and neither team seemed to care. Here’s hoping that they can bring it in that environment. Thad Balk: I have no doubt that they will. They are focussed on what matters at that is the Tag Team Titles. Both teams will do whatever they have to to raise those titles high in the air. Filth Murphy: Yeah well they just have to climb a ladder. I mean easier said than done but that’s the jist of it. Thad Balk: Following that landmark contest we will see a heated feud come to a head. SHIDO, the man who brutally attacked Tiami Erickson last week, the self-proclaimed God-turned-Human will take on the standard bearer here in Elysium. Erik Holland has been the top man in Elysium since our first event Wideawake. He won the first Wideawake Tournament and he has carried Elysium to where it is today. Filth Murphy: Yeah and tonight he is going to go to hell. Literally. In order to save the last kingdom, to avenge his group and to defend his World Championship he is going to have to bring out the side of him that we have only heard about. Yeah the guy has had some great matches but this is the goddamn Cage of Death. SHIDO has orchestrated this, he wanted this, he has played Holland like a fiddle. Now it’s time that Holland does something about it. Thad Balk: I do not believe that Erik Holland has been played. I believe that Erik Holland is standing up for what is right, he is looking to punish the evil incarnate that is SHIDO. I am meant to be an unbiased observer but before that I am a believer in this company. I am a believer in Kelly Godless’ vision. His vision was to see the best wrestling on Earth and SHIDO is not the person to represent that. Erik Holland is. Filth Murphy: Well I don’t think that reality doesn’t give a good fuck about Godless’ vision. This is going to play out how it is meant to play out and I can’t fuckin’ wait Textbook. Tonight will live in infamy… that’s what I believe in. Thad Balk: One way or another I suppose. So without further adieu ladies and gentlemen welcome to Nightfall. Filth Murphy: Let’s get to it boys and girls… Frontline is NOW!

The camera is following a very eager-looking Titaness, who is heading out towards the ring for her match against Tiami Erickson. She's strolling through the hallways of the stadium, seeming to move at a slightly quicker than usual pace. Before she arrives at her destination, however, a figure steps in front of her. A quick glance reveals it to be F.M. Young, the new Iron Champion. The two silently stare one another down. The intensity in the air begins to strengthen. Finally, the silence is broken as Titaness speaks up first. Samantha Hamilton: Well? If you got something to say, do it. But if you don't fucking mind, I'm in a bit of a hurry. F.M. Young looks up and down at Samantha a few more times. An almost knowing smirk tugs at her lips as she nods, elicits a low "Hmph", and finally moves aside. As the Titaness resumes striding away, F.M. calls out to the other female wrestler. F.M. Young: So, tonight gonna be the night, Titaness? Samantha stops, smirking back at the Iron Champion before shrugging. Samantha Hamilton: I intend for it to be, yes. Trust me though. In due time, you will see me on your Iron Title list. Just don't lose it beore then; it'd be a real shame for you to lose it too soon after earning it. Now then ... if you don't mind .... The Titaness offers a half-mocking, half-sincere salute before pivoting on her feet and continuing striding out. Her grin seems to have widened, implying that maybe the 'pep-talk' likely boosted her confidence ... and possibly her ego.

The bell sounds and both wrestlers lock up. Tiami quickly places Hamilton in a side headlock, but Hamilton shoves Tiami off of her and into the ropes. When Tiami comes back, Hamilton goes for a clothesline, but Tiami takes the shot and stays on her feet, appearing to be all business tonight. After looking Tiami up and down, Hamilton runs back into the ropes. When Hamilton comes back, Tiami brings her down with a drop toe hold. Tiami rolls across Hamilton's back and applies a side headlock. Thad Balk: It is no secret that Tiami Erickson is the more experienced grappler here and she is showing that off in the early going. Filth Murphy: Yeah but Hamilton has got fire. She showed that on the last Frontline when she went toe to toe with Adam Stryker. Hamilton battles her way back up to her feet. She then shoves Tiami off of her and into the ropes. When Tiami comes back, Hamilton goes for another clothesline. This time, Tiami ducks and runs into the ropes. When Tiami comes back, she takes Hamilton down with a clothesline of her own. Tiami is fired up. Hamilton gets back up, but Tiami knocks her down with a dropkick. Hamilton gets up again and Tiami knocks her back down with another dropkick. Hamilton pops up while Tiami runs over for a third dropkick, but Hamilton quickly drops and rolls to the outside to halt her opponent’s momentum. Thad Balk: A veteran move from the rookie. While Hamilton paces on the outside, Tiami runs into the ropes. When Hamilton turns around, Tiami runs and goes for a baseball slide, but Hamilton side steps and slides back into the ring. Once Tiami gets up on the outside and turns around, Hamilton takes her out with a diving crossbody. Hamilton picks up Tiami and rolls her back into the ring. She then rolls herself back in and makes the cover. Thad Balk: It seems that The Pretty Badass is underestimating The Titaness. 1.. ...2 ...Kickout! Hamilton picks up Tiami, twists her arm and then tries to rip it out of its socket. Tiami quickly drops down to one knee in pain. Hamilton begins to deliver clubbing forearm shots across the arm. While Tiami is still down on one knee, Hamilton begins to apply more pressure to the arm lock. Tiami flips over with a handstand, grabs Hamilton and counters with an arm lock of her own. Hamilton yells out in pain before she reaches over and grabs the top rope, forcing the ref to enforce a five count. 1… ...2 ...3 ....4 Thad Balk: Too close to the ropes but Tiami utilizes the full extent of that five count. Filth Murphy: I would have held it on longer. Thad Balk: Then she would be disqualified. Filth Murphy: Says who? As Tiami lets go, Hamilton cheap shots her with a knee strike to the midsection. Hamilton delivers a headbutt, sending Tiami stumbling into the ropes. Hamilton follows and delivers three knife-edge chops to the chest. After Tiami clutches her chest in pain, Hamilton grabs her and whips her into the ropes. When Tiami comes back, she slides through Hamilton's legs. When Hamilton turns around, Tiami gets up and throws a kick to the midsection, but Hamilton catches her foot and pulls her into a massive spinebuster! Hamilton goes for the cover. Filth Murphy: That one shook the ring! Fuck it shook me! 1.. ...2 ...Tiami kicks out! Thad Balk: Tiami will not go silently into that good night. Filth Murphy: Yeah she talks a lot. Hamilton picks up Tiami and sends her into the corner. Hamilton follows her, but she runs right into an elbow from Tiami. As Hamilton staggers back, Tiami hoists herself up onto the middle ropes, jumps off and takes her down with a tornado DDT. Tiami covers. 1.. ...2 ...Hamilton kicks out! Thad Balk: These two competitors are giving us all that they have right now. Filth Murphy: Oh I feel like they’re gonna give more because the match isn’t over. Tiami picks her up and Hamilton shoves her away. She follows up by running over and blasting Tiami with a spear. Hamilton goes for another cover. Thad Balk: That’s a version of the move that beat Hamilton last week. A call out to Adam Stryker maybe? Filth Murphy: I don’t know Textbook I don’t read minds. Yet. 1.. ...2 ...Kickout! Hamilton picks up Tiami and goes for a vertical suplex. Tiami slips down from behind, grabs her by the waist and goes for a German suplex, but Hamilton blocks the move and counters with an elbow to the face that breaks the hold. Hamilton then runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Tiami grabs a hold of Hamilton and takes her down with a belly to belly suplex. Tiami goes for the pin. 1.. ...2 ...Hamilton gets her shoulder up! Filth Murphy: Not even that European Suplex could do it! Thad Balk: European suplex. Filth Murphy: Sometimes I just say things. Tiami picks up Hamilton and throws her down with a scoop slam. Tiami steps through the ropes, walks along the apron and begins to climb the turnbuckles. As Hamilton gets up and turns, Tiami leaps off the top turnbuckle and looks for another tornado DDT, but Hamilton counters with a mid air dropkick, knocking her to the canvas. Hamilton then picks up Tiami, grabs a hold of her and takes her down with a gutbuster. She makes the cover. 1.. ...2 ...Kickout! Thad Balk: Sam Hamilton is in the driver’s seat now and she looks like she is heading home. With frustration on her face, Hamilton gets up and begins stomping away at Tiami. She then drops to her knees and delivers forearm shots to the back of Tiami's neck. Hamilton picks up Tiami and whips her hard chest-first into the corner. As Tiami stumbles back, Hamilton runs in and connects with a bulldog. Hamilton picks up Tiami, lifts her up and connects with the Widow’s Peak! Hamilton hooks the leg to make the cover. 1… ...2 ...3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Titaness” Samantha Hamilton! “You’re Going Down” by Sick Puppy begins to play as Hamilton slowly gets to her feet, holding her ribs in pain after that match. The referee raises Hamilton’s arm as Tiami slowly gets to her feet. Hamilton walks over to Tiami and they stand face to face. Hamilton says something in audible and Tiami responds. As soon as Tiami finishes speaking, Hamilton kicks her in the ribs and begins attacking her with punches. The referee tries to pull Hamilton away, but she pushes the referee down. Tiami sees an opening and spears Hamilton down to the mat, now throwing punches of her own. Hamilton is able to roll over and reverse position as the two continue to exchange punches. Tiami also reverses and ends up back on top as more referees come running down the aisle before sliding into the ring. It takes two referees to pull Tiami off of Hamilton. Both of them are back to their feet, being restrained by Elysium officials. Thad Balk: This issue is far from resolved Filth. Filth Murphy: I agree. We will see these two lock horns again. It will be a horny affair! Thad Balk: That was cheap, even for you. Filth Murphy: I know. Hamilton is able to break free and dives at Tiami with a big right hand before the referees get a hold of her again. Now Tiami breaks free and spears Hamilton down again. The officials are able to pull her off as they drag her out of the ring and towards the back. Tiami and Hamilton begin screaming at each other as the scene fades.

We are in the locker room area, watching Adam Stryker sitting on a bench in his full gear, getting ready for his match. The 11 year veteran wraps up his wrists, then looks at the camera. Adam Stryker: So... Buzzing for tonight, guys? Elysium has come to the biggest event of its short history. Tonight, the World Championship is contested in the Cage of Death. I´ve been through a couple of them, and let me tell you... One person walks out the winner, but NO ONE stayst the same. Stryker smiles. Adam Stryker: I'm happy I will be enjoying that hell of a match only from the fan perspective. But before that... I have another point to prove. Last time around, I beat Sam Hamilton, this time, I will defeat Ryleigh Mathis. Nothing more, no fancy words about that. Just good old Strykes getting the job done. I´m gunning for a championship match, and no matter what obstacle is put in front of me on the way there, I will go over it. In fact... He gets up and gives the camera an intense stare. Adam Stryker: ...I will go though it.

The bell rings as Stryker starts to pace his side of the ring. Mathis eyes the veteran, and cocks an eyebrow at him. When they meet near the center of the ring, Mathis tries to go low to get the easy advantage, but Stryker catches the kick and pushes Mathis down. He hooks in a toe hold, loops over, and easily transition into a heel hook. The experience factor shows clearly, but Mathis is able to escape with a kick to the lower back. The wherewithal to pry out of the lock impresses Stryker a tad, but Mathis seems irate at the ease that she was brought down. Thad Balk: Despite being fairly new to Elysium Adam Stryker is a veteran. He is more experienced than his opponent despite Mathis being a former Hybrid Champion. This is an interesting combination. Getting back to a neutral position, Mathis thinks she has a chance to breathe, but Stryker corrects her by hitting the mat and going for that leg again. Mathis, in retort, hurls a mean forearm that catches him across the face. She goes for a Judo Arm Throw, but Stryker resists. Mathis handles this by dropping to the mat with an armbreaker. When Stryker steps around, favoring the arm, Mathis follows up with a snapmare into a basement dropkick. She puts all her weight on top of the veteran. Filth Murphy: Stryker just got struck. That’s my phrase Balk, don’t take it. Thad Balk: Keep it. 1.. ..2 ...Stryker kicks out! Kicking out infuriates the former Hybrid Champion, who gets up with a scowl at the referee. This time of contemplation does get her pulled down into a classic school boy. Mathis scrambles out, but this to Stryker’s play. Once Mathis gets to her feet, Stryker’s already ready and going back up. He returns to his feet with arm outstretched! Filth Murphy: LARIATOOOOOO! Mathis hits the mat, having flipped from the raw force of the lariat. Stryker goes for the cover. 1.. ..2 ...Mathis kicks out at the nick of time! She stumbles to her feet, having had the air knocked way out of her. Stryker goes over, trying for a German Suplex, but Mathis elbows him sharply in the nose. Her opponent finds the strength to rally back, grabbing her again for a Regalplex this time, but when he throws her, she pops a backflip. She stumbles on the leg she fell on, but the crowd’s amazed at her ability to counter. She runs for the ropes, hitting a handspring, trying for the back elbow. Stryker catches her and brings her down in a fluid motion with the Ringmaster Suplex! Thad Balk: This could be it for the former Hybrid Champion! Mathis starts to come up to her feet, not knowing where’s she sat. Stryker bounces off the ropes, gaining some speed. However, instead of ending it right then and there, Stryker rushes past Mathis again. The crowd is behind him, knowing what awaits the recovering Mathis. Filth Murphy: Uprising might want to consider right turning because something wicked this way comes! She turns around, catching some of her surroundings, but it’s too late. At full speed, Stryker blasts Mathis with The Stryke! He follows up by taking the leg he targeted and applying the Stretch Muffler. With all her strength gone, her ribs hurting, and her leg in a tormenting position, Mathis has no choice but to tap out! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Ringmaster” Adam Stryker! “Sultan’s Curse” by Mastadon cues up and the audience roars as Adam Stryker has his hands raised in the air. Stryker climbs to the top rope and gestures to his waist that he is going for a championship next.

We see The Enigma Protocol walking the halls in the back of the Pepsi Centre. The trio looks pissed off and out of sorts. Miguel has a snarl plastered onto his face, giving him the appearance of a barely restrained wild animal. One would even go so far as to liken him to a rabid wolf. Ryan’s appearance is more conniving than that of his partner yet he’s still pissed off for some reason. The trio see a stagehand talking on his cell phone to an unknown person. The trio surround the stagehand with Cheyenne standing in front of him. Miguel Villalobos: Mira esta pequeña puta. Cheyenne smiles as the stagehand hangs up the phone. Stagehand: What the hell do you want? Cheyenne Black: I assume you didn’t see any of the roster’s promotional packages this week. The man scoffs at the comment. Stagehand: You think I watch any of that shit? I have better things to do with my time. Ryan leans in a bit. Ryan Gates: If I were you, I’d start running now. The man scoffs again and rolls his eyes. Stagehand: You can’t do anything to me. I’m not a wrestler, you would get fined or fired if you laid a hand on me. Miguel audibly cracks his knuckles and chuckles menacingly. Cheyenne Black: Is that what you think? That’s cute. Ryan pushes the man into a waiting Miguel. Miguel laughs. He slaps the man across the back of the head before pushing back towards Ryan. Ryan then slaps the man in face playfully as he laughs like a child in school. The man stumbles into Cheyenne who punches him in the face. Basically smelling blood in the water, as it were, Miguel laughs again and lands a couple of punches into the man’s back before pulling his hands behind his back, leaving him open for Ryan and Cheyenne. Ryan allows Cheyenne to lay in a few punches to the man’s stomach before he takes the man’s face and drives it into his knee. He repeats the move this time, however, blood begins to flow out of the man’s nose. Miguel spins the man around and takes his turn. He pushes him into Ryan who holds the man up. Miguel lets loose a flurry of punches into his stomach and then pulls him away from his team mate. He then wraps his hand around the man’s throat and lifts him up off the ground. He slams him into the wall with enough force to bounce the back of the man’s head off of it with a hollow ‘thunk’ before basically discarding the unconscious stagehand to the floor. The trio bursts into laughter and continue their way through the halls. Security rushes up to them but thinks twice after a glare from them.

The wandering backstage camera catches Helena Handbasket standing next to a heavy cardboard barrel drum. Helena winks and knocks on the side of the drum, which you can tell from the sound is not hollow. Suddenly she stands up straight and points a finger behind the unfortunate camera man, doing her very best Marty Mcfly impression. Helena Handbasket: WOAH WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? The camera spins around in a frantic attempt to catch whatever was behind it, only to find that nothing is there. The camera pans back to find Helena Handbasket in her wrestling attire, a yellow hooded tank top, gray tights with her "Screw U" symbol on them and black wrist tape. Now standing in a relaxed wide leg position on the top edges of the open barrel, the lid having been kicked aside. The blond gives a two fingered salute and winks at the camera. Handbasket is just hopping down when K-Remix walks into the shot from the other side of the frame and whistles. K-Remix: Yo, Hel! There you are! Man I have been lookin all over for you! Helena shrugs and K-Remix walks over, throwing an arm over her shoulders. Helena walks along with him silently as Remix starts to babble. He is of course wearing his Hybrid Championship firmly around his lower waist. K-Remix: Come on, I wanna show you the new Wolfenstein DLC that came out. Man, I did not know you could rig up a laptop to run on a bar battery, but am I glad you did! Helena makes another noncommittal gesture as a way of ‘your welcome.’ Remix just chalks it up to his partner being weird again. K-Remix: You really are quiet sometimes for someone whose so loud ya know? Anyway, after shooterfest, we have some robots to break and the future to save. Man the party is gonna be lit tonight, us as Tag Team Champions! DOUBLE CHAMPS DOUBLE CHAMPS! Remix continues chanting as the pair vanish from sight of the camera. There’s a noise behind the camera, which then spins around until it’s looking back at the barrel. It’s revealed that the lid is once again firmly shut on the barrel.

As Uprising are making their entrance the trio of Miguel Villalobos, Ryan Gates and Cheyenne Black run down the ramp behind them. Black points the boys forward and The Enigma Protocol strikes. Gates nails Fitzpatrick in the back of the head with a forearm smash while Villalobos catches Capernick with a running knee to the back. Gates mounts Fitzpatrick and furiously lays into her with strikes while Villalobos throws Capernick into the ring. Thad Balk: This is not a surprising event. Enigma Protocol are truly horrible people Filth Murphy: Horrible and smart! Uprising are probably just mad that they didn’t think of this. Villalobos enters the ring and screams at the referee to start the match but the referee refuses until Gates and Fitzpatrick are in their respective corners. Villalobos gets in the referee’s face and grabs him by the collar. Villalobos shoves the referee backward and then calls out to Gates. Gates gets Fitzpatrick up and lays her on the apron in her corner, he then takes his place. Filth Murphy: I love this strategy! Wish I was this clever when I was wrestling. Thad Balk: This is dishonorable. Filth Murphy: There is no honor in the ring Textbook. Fitzpatrick stands on the apron and Capernick gets up in the ring. The referee checks with Uprising and they give the okay. The bell sounds and Villalobos charges at Capernick and smashes her in the face with a running elbow. Capernick staggers backward and Villalobos whips her into the corner so hard that she comes staggering back out. Villalobos gets Capernick up in a fireman’s carry, then runs and plants her with a death valley driver into the corner buckles! Villalobos then marches around the ring howling. Black cheers him on from ringside. Thad Balk: This Miguel Villalobos is a scary human being. Filth Murphy: I’ve had nightmares about him. The Egyption Assassin is rocked as she stands. Villalobos lines her up and charges at Capernick and he hits her with a stinger splash into the corner. Capernick staggers forward right into a t-bone suplex from Los Lobo Loco. Capernick is down and Villalobos doesn’t even go for a cover, he instead tages in his partner Gates. Gates climbs to the top rope and comes off with a huge flying elbow right into Capernick’s heart. Gates doesn’t cover either. Instead he gets Capernick up to her feet and then plants her with a fireman’s carry dropped into a double knee gutbuster! Thad Balk: Liza Capernick, the least experienced member of Uprising is taking an absolute beating here. Filth Murphy: There has got to be a better word because a “beating” is an understatement. Gates smiles sadistically at Villalobos and then turns his attention back to Capernick. Gates puts the boots to Capernick a few times before he gets her up and tags Villalobos back in. Gates then gets behind Capernick and applies a reverse waist lock. As Gates tosses Capernick over with a German suplex Villalobos blasts her with a lariat in a huge double team. Capernick lands right on her neck and Gates takes his place on the apron while Los Lobo Loco stalks The Egyption Assassin. Thad Balk: As much as I disagree with their tactics Enigma Protocol work well as a team. Filth Murphy: Like Freddy and Jason! Thad Balk: I believe they were adversaries. Filth Murphy: Does that mean best friends? Because that’s what they were. Villalobos stands over Capernick and puts his foot under her jaw. As he lifts his foot she begins to stand and once she is up to her feet Villalobos grabs her by the chin. Villalobos says something in Spanish but Capernick responds with a hard shot to his mid-section! The audience actually kinda pops for this and when Capernick looks to dash toward her corner Villalobos grabs her by the hair and yanks her down to the mat which earns a chorus of jeers from Denver. Villalobos just laughs. Thad Balk: Is there no low that these two will not sink to? Los Lobo Loco drags Capernick over to the Enigma Protocol corner by the hair and then tags Gates back in. Gates climbs to the top rope as Villalobos lifts Capernick up with a stalling back suplex! As Villalobos falls backward Gates comes off of the top rope with a blockbuster, completely the combination! Capernick is down and she is barely moving. Gates kneels down beside her and chuckles to himself. Gates looks over at Fitzpatrick who is hopping on the apron, losing more and more patience with every passing moment. Thad Balk: Madison Fitzpatrick is like a caged animal right now. Filth Murphy: The cage isn’t coming until later Balk. Please pay attention. Gates stands idly by and allows Capernick to start crawling toward her corner. When Capernick is mere inches away she reaches out for Fitzpatrick. She almost has the tag when Gates kicks Capernick in the ribs. Gates then stomps on Capernick’s hand and gets her up to her feet. Gates positions Capernick for the Ohio Is For Killers piledriver but Capernick amazing starts hitting him with kneels to the collar bone! Gates lets go of her, Capernick rolls forward and tags in Fitzpatrick! Thad Balk: This is it! This is Uprising’s moment. Fitzpatrick jumps into the ring and nails Gates with the Gold Strike spinning back elbow which staggers him. Villalobos enters the ring and charges at her but Fitzpatrick low bridges the top rope and he goes sailing to the outside. Fitzpatrick gets Gates up and shoots him into the corner where she nails him with the Belfast Dash forearm right to the face! Gates staggers forward right into a Judo hip toss that is transitioned perfectly into a standing arm bar! Gates is trapped in the middle of the ring. Thad Balk: Uprising could come from behind and it would be justice if they could pull of the victory. Filth Murphy: A true storybook ending. Thad Balk: You should really read more. Villalobos gets up onto the apron to help his partner but Capernick meets him and smashes him with a shuffle side kick to the jaw. Villalobos is dazed enough for Capernick to catch him with a release dragon suplex on the apron! In the ring Fitzpatrick has transitioned the standing armbar into Belgrade Delight crossface! Gates is letting out in agony as Black tries to will him on from ringside! Capernick is back up in the corner and she is cheering her partner on. Gates is eventually able to back roll and break the hold. Gates gets up to his feet and stomps on the side of Fitzpatrick’s head, subduing her. Thad Balk: I could hear that from here! This Ryan Gates has the look of a serial killer. Filth Murphy: Serial killers can be anyone. Thad Balk: Then I am not incorrect. Fitzpatrick is down and Gates gives her a few hard kicks to the side of the head before hitting her with a standing shooting star press. Again he doesn’t go for the cover, he mounts her and hits her with a series of clubbing blows with both hands to the face. Gates then drags her over to the Enigma Protocol corner and stands her up. Fitzpatrick is enraged, she breaks Gates’ hold on her and drops him with a kneeling jawbreaker. Fitzpatrick then darts across the ring, dives and tags in Capernick! Filth Murphy: Hot tag! Capernick enters the ring, charges and nails Gates with the Asp Spit kick right to the face. Gates rebounds into the ropes, comes back and walks right into the Nicked By Cryptics sidewalk slam. Gates is down and Capernick covers. 1.. 2.. ! Thad Balk: They almost pulled it off Filth. Filth Murphy: Yeah but they didn’t. Villalobos enters the ring and breaks the pin with a stomp to Capernick’s head. He then charges across the ring and nails Fitzpatrick with a hard forearm smash before quickly exiting the ring. Villalobos grabs Fitzpatrick and sends her hard into the guard rail. In the ring Capernick yells something to Villalobos, who is running back to his corner. This gives Gates time to crawl to his corner. Capernick turns just in time to see Gates make the tag to Villalobos. Capernick rushes over but Gates catches her and lifts her up just as Villalobos enters the ring and they drop Capernick with Shrodinger’s Cat! Thad Balk: That is a time tested move Filth! Filth Murphy: Testify! Black claps for her team on the outside as Villalobos gets Capernick up and sets her up for a vertebreaker. Gates climbs to the top rope and then leaps off with a ghetto stomp onto Capernick’s legs which completes Enigma Protocol’s Paradox Solution double team move. Capernick is driven hard into the mat onto her neck and Villalobos shoots the half for a cover. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here are your winners, Miguel Villalobos and Ryan Gates, The Enigma Protocol! “Insanity Syndrome” by The Enigma TNG cues up but only for a moment. Outside the ring Cheyenne Black grabs Madison Fitzpatrick and slides her into the ring. Black then grabs a table from under the ring and slides that in aswell. Thad Balk: Have they not done enough? I know that Uprising are not the most popular people in the locker room but this is ridiculous. Villalobos puts the boots to Fitzpatrick as Gates does the same to Capernick. The audience boos heavily, not in support of Uprising but being against Enigma Protocol. Denver actually explodes with cheers as Ryleigh Mathis charges down the ramp! Mathis slides into the ring but walks right into Shrodinger’s Cat from Gates and Villalobos. Filth Murphy: Well that didn’t do much there Mathis. Black enters the ring and sets up a table. Gates lays Mathis on the table and then turns his attention to Capernick. Gates gets Capernick up for a powerbomb while Villalobos does the same with Fitzpatrick. Black then counts down from three and on one both Gates and Villalobos powerbomb Capernick and Fitzpatrick onto Mathis which sends all three members of Uprising through the table. Thad Balk: Oh my God. Enigma Protocol have just destroyed all three members of Uprising. Black, Gates and Villalobos stand with their arms in the air amid the destruction that they have created.

F.M. Young stands in front of the big Frontline Nightfall logo backstage, the Elysium Iron Championship draped over her chest, worn like a bandoleer. The big woman stands proudly next to Yuki Kita as the interviewer turns toward her ready to begin. Yuki Kita: F.M. Young, some might say you didn’t fairly win the Iron Title at the last Frontline. They say Anthony Xavier was acting erratic and claimed to have not slept before the match. How do you feel about that? F.M. Young: I have to say, that I am slightly disappointed that for all his talk about taking his career seriously, Xavier appeared to not be at his best during our fight. Considering that he also seems to have not bothered to respond to Vitoly about their match, that he’s decided to run off in shame. Looks like I’ve killed another career and it’s only a mild day. Yuki Kita: Speaking of Vitoly Volkov, you recently teamed up with the God Tier to form the United Front. What led the that decision? F.M. Young: Vitoly’s a strong competitor, together we could make a run at the Tag Team titles if we so chose. It will be good to train with him either way. I love good competition and strong opponents. Having a strong team mate can only make a better fighter. Yuki Kita: Jake Archer recently tweeted that he is afraid that Vitoly might interfere on your behalf in the Iron Title bout tonight, have anything to say to Jake on that front? F.M. Young: I don’t need Vitoly’s help to beat Jake Archer, of all people. I can do that just fine on my own, considering he thinks I’m trying to kill him. Why he’d even come down to the ring is a mystery to me. Yuki Kita: Well, the Iron Championship is quite a prize, you can’t blame him for wanting to fight for it. F.M. Young: I will give Satyrface that much credit, it is a fine prize. This is will be my first title defense. Four more after this and I’ll be challenging for the Hybrid Title. Until recently, I’d never lost a title bout as a challanger and I don’t plan on making the same mistake twice. I don’t plan on stopping either, not until I’m World Champion. I haven’t had the best career and I’ve been stiffed a lot. Elysium is the place where I change all that. I don’t care about having to start the bottom, I’ll fight every step of the way. I don’t plan on stopping until I’m at the top. The One Woman Army is going to lay siege to all of Elysium. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a GOAT to put to pasture. F.M. Young walks off camera after pounding her fists against the front plate of the Iron Title and grinning wildly at the camera.

The next contest sees The G.O.A.T. Jake Archer come to the ring full of confidence. F.M. Young comes to the ring flanked by Sloan, taking a methodical slow pace. Young enters the ring and hands off the championship, the bell rings. Archer runs at Young and then stops just in front of her, holding his hands up trying to beg off. Archer says “Wait.” and holds up one finger. Archer bends down to re-tie his boot and Young stands, staring at him. Archer then pops up looking to headbutt Young in the mid-section but she stops his head with her hand. Thad Balk: The G.O.A.T.’s tricks are not going to work tonight. Filth Murphy: Well not that particular one. Young smashes Archer with a forearm smash to the side of the head which sends Archer through the ropes to the outside. Young exits the ring and Archer tries to surprise her with a superkick but Young catches his foot and pulls him into a spinebuster right onto the guard rail! Archer is laid on the guard rail and Young pulls him right into a clothesline that flattens him. Filth Murphy: The G.O.A.T. is just biding his time. He is lulling Young into a false sense of security! Thad Balk: Is that what he’s doing? Archer is down on all fours while Young confers with Sloan for a moment. This gives Archer the opportunity to crawl under the ring. Young turns and sees that Archer is gone. Archer comes out on the other side of the ring, poking his head up. Yonug stomps to that side of the ring and when she comes around the corner Archer blasts her in the head with a garbage can lid. Archer does this several times, completely wearing out the trash can lid. Filth Murphy: Told ya! Here comes The G.O.A.T.! Young drops to a knee and Archer backs up. Archer then charges, leaps up onto the apron and springboards off of the middle rope with an Asai moonsault but Young catches him over her shoulder! Young then runs and plants Archer with a running powerslam onto the entrance ramp. Young is through playing around as she drags Archer back to the ring and rolls him in under the bottom rope. Thad Balk: The champion is through entertaining Archer’s games. Young enters the ring and Archer is up on his knees, favouring his lower back. Young doesn’t give him a moment to do anything sneaky, she charges and smashes him in the face with a running knee to the face. Archer is down and out as Young climbs to the top rope and comes crashing down on archer with the Battery Powered Bombshell. Young pins. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner and still Elysium Iron Champion, “The One Woman Army” F.M. Young! “Run You” by The Qemists cues up. Sloan enters the ring and yanks the Iron Title out of the referee’s hands. Sloan then hands it to F.M. and the champ raises her prize into the air.

The scene opens to a locker room that's been partially converted into an exercise gym. On one side of the room, Alyssa Daniels throws vicious strikes into a hanging heavy bag while moving to simulate incoming. On the other side of the room, Kevin Moss is doing push-ups while wearing a weighted jacket. After a few more push-ups, Kevin pushes himself up to a standing position and reaches for his towel. Alyssa stops what she's doing and begins to walk toward Kevin. Alyssa Daniels: Hey Kevin… Kevin Moss: Are you ready, Alyssa? Alyssa Daniels: Almost. I just... Uh... Alyssa brushes aside a few stray strands of hair as she contemplates her words. Alyssa Daniels: So you've been in plenty of title matches, right? Kevin Moss: A handful so to speak, but I wouldn't approach it any differently. As far as we're concerned, this is another match. Kevin hands Alyssa his SKYFIRE Championship. She takes and stares into the face of the title, smiling at her reflection. Alyssa Daniels: Wow. It's beautiful... The smile turns into a contemplative frown. She hands the SKYFIRE Championship back to Kevin. Alyssa Daniels: But don't you ever... I mean, is it normal to feel, like, a ton of pressure just before? Kevin Moss: This sport is pressure. There are no days off or rest and relax moments. We have to be game, right now, all the time. Alyssa Daniels: No, I get that. We train physically and mentally to compete but this is something entirely separate. You're telling me you've never felt pressure for any match you've been in? Kevin Moss: I let all of it go, Alyssa. If you keep that tension built up it will impact your performance. Alyssa Daniels: Sure, that's easy enough to say but that whole 'doing it' part is the problem. How do you think about it in such a way that you can just let it slide? Kevin Moss: Because after you've done the work, it's out of your hands. All you can do is show up and compete. Trust me, you've put in the work already. Alyssa Daniels: Got it. Alyssa takes a few deep breaths. Alyssa Daniels: Just gotta channel my home city and "trust the process..." Kevin Moss: Well, maybe this will help. Moss reaches into his bag and pulls out a small, wrapped box. He hands it to Alyssa. Kevin Moss: I wasn't sure if we would do anything for Christmas, so here you go. Alyssa stares at the small box in her hands and gets very excited. Her expression becomes similar to a child on Christmas morning. Kevin Moss: Open it… Alyssa rips off the wrapping and holds the box in her hands. She takes off the top to find a custom purple Rolex watch with the "Infinity Revolution" symbol etched onto the face. She appears to be shocked. Alyssa Daniels: Whoa! I can't accept this! It must have cost a fortune! Kevin Moss: Nothing compared to the value of those Tag titles. Alyssa, I had it specifically made for you. I want you to have it. Alyssa looks down at it, her eyes wide with wonder. Suddenly, she peers at it perplexed. Alyssa Daniels: What's that, lil fella? She puts the rolex to her ear and listens for a moment. She then pulls it away with a look of approval. Alyssa Daniels: Imagine that. My new watch says it's almost time to go win some titles. Maybe that's what I can get for you for Christmas! Alyssa smiles excitedly, doubt seemingly vanishing from her expression. Kevin Moss: Remember, all we need is one shot. One perfectly timed shot and it'll be all over. Alyssa Daniels: Then let's go take our shot! The Infinity Revolution bumps fists. Alyssa takes one more look at her new watch and smiles before they exit the shot.

The next match of the night features former Iron Champion, Anthony Xavier, taking on “The God Tier” Vitoly Volkov. Xavier’s music begins playing throughout the arena as the fans wait for him to make his entrance. The music plays for nearly a minute and there’s no sign of Xavier. The crowd look around the arena in confusion as his music continues to play. The lights in the arena return to normal and the shot cuts... ...to the backstage area where we see Anthony Xavier down on the concrete with Vitoly Volkov standing over him with a chair. Volkov begins to deliver brutal chair shots to a motionless Xavier. Volkov’s eyes are full of rage as he throws the chair to the side and brings Xavier to his feet. Volkov starts slapping Xavier, who is barely standing. After a series of slaps, Volkov whips Anthony Xavier into a large black crate that’s sitting in the hallway. Xavier crashes into the crate back first, now sitting on the ground. Volkov charges at him and drills him in the face with a knee. “The God Tier” starts delivering stiff boots to Xavier who is unable to fight back. Volkov picks Xavier back up again and slams him onto the floor with a bodyslam. Dropping to his knees, Volkov grabs Xavier’s neck and starts choking him. Volkov starts throwing right hands, busting Xavier open in the process. Volkov wipes some of the blood from Xavier’s forehead and smears it across his chest. He brings Xavier up again and starts driving knees into his midsection. Xavier doubles over and Volkov throws him into a dumpster. Xavier bounces off and falls to the floor again. Volkov moves over to a table and uses his arm to push everything off of it. He walks back over to Xavier and brings him to his feet once again. Volkov holds him up by his hair before putting him into position and throwing him down through the table with a massive powerbomb. Volkov looks down at the unconscious body of Anthony Xavier before letting out a primal roar. “The God Tier” walks out of the shot as the camera zooms in on the fallen Xavier before the scene fades to black.

"Undeniable" by Seckond Chaynce begins to play. The fans cheer momentarily however lose some of their excitement when a solo Diego Velez emerges from the backstage area. However who knows if it's them being disappointed about not seeing K-Remix or if they're just shocked at Diego's choice of wearing mustard colored cowboy boots with a black suit. Diego makes his way down the ramp-way and grabs a mic before climbing into the ring. Diego Velez: Hola, I can tell that you're all thrilled to see me. Believe me I'd much rather be sitting back with my feet kicked up having a cold one. However manager duties have arisen so here I am. Now, originally K-Remix was supposed to come out here and address what has been going on with him and the Badd Breed. However he's currently in the back with Helena Handbasket preparing for their Elysium Tag Team Championship match against Infinity Revolution. The crowd pops slightly at the mention of the two popular teams competing for the championship. Diego Velez: That's right, you should cheer for that. After all, K-Remix will be becoming Elysium's first ever double champion in that match. As well as one of Elysium's first Tag Team Champions. That's the kind of thing that makes my job a whole lot easier. Something else that would make my job a whole lot easier is K-Remix being part of the Badd Breed. Which is exactly why I've been campaigning for him to make this move from the very beginning. Elysium is the place that he calls home. However K-Remix is a superstar who is constantly pushing himself by competing in different wrestling federations across the world. Similarly, the Badd Breed is an organization with a ton of talented wrestlers competing in multiple federations across the world. So to me it would only make sense that K-Remix would become a member of the Badd Breed. Diego pauses. Diego Velez: Yet as we all know, sometimes K doesn't exactly do what makes sense. Don't even get me started on Helena. And when you get them both together. Ay, Dios mio! Still it appears as though K had the good sense to listen to what his manager was telling him this time. So it is with great pleasure that I make it known to the world that as of right now K-Remix IS a member of the Badd Breed. Not only that but he emphasized that I make one more thing clear to everyone before I left this ring. As of right now K-Remix IS the MVP of the Badd Breed. Now hurry up and grab some popcorn, hit the the bathroom, and do whatever you've got to do. Because the Swag Baskets are about to tear the roof off of this place and win some tag team gold. Diego drops the mic and walks to the back as the fans try to process what that announcement means for K-Remix. What that announcement means for the Badd Breed. And what that announcement means for Elysium.

The shot fixates on the Tag Team Championships hanging high above the center of the ring. We then cut to the various ladders around ringside. Infinity Revolution make their entrance together and following that the Swag Baskets make a very high energy entrance, K-Remix with the Hybrid Championship in tow. Thad Balk: This is it Filth, tonight someone is going to make history. Filth Murphy: Is it me? Thad Balk: ...no. The bell sounds and both competitors come to the center of the ring. The Infinity Revolution each extend their hands and both K-Remix and Helena Handbasket accept them. The teams then back away from each other and they look up at the Tag Team Titles hanging high above the center of the ring. Daniels then locks eyes with K-Remix and proceeds to do the robot. Moss looks perplexed but K-Remix seems entertained. Handbasket is staring at something in the audience. Filth Murphy: Fuck, Daniels can move. Thad Balk: I believe that was in reference to her interaction with K-Remix on the Antisocial Network earlier this week. Filth Murphy: The what? Moss is the first to strike as he charges forward and blasts K-Remix with a running forearm shot to the face. K-Remix is staggered back into a corner where Moss follows him in and hits him with a back elbow to the face. Moss then lifts K-Remix up onto the top turnbuckle and hits him with a hard shot that takes K-Remix off of the turnbuckle. K-Remix lands with a thud on the apron and Moss drags him through the ropes, back into the ring. Moss then takes K-Remix over with a snap suplex. Thad Balk: The Hybrid Champion is not faring well in the early going here. Daniels rushes Handbasket but Handbasket holds up a hand to stop her dead in her tracks. Handbasket then grabs the back of Daniels’ head and smashes her with an elbow to the face that sends The Heart of Infinity reeling backward. Handbasket grabs Daniels’ hand and wrenches her arm and then hops up to the top rope. Handbasket attempts to walk the top rope but Daniels pulls her off into a quick spinning heel kick that pops the audience in Denver. Filth Murphy: It seems that Handbasket is no American bad ass. Thad Balk: At least she tried, I suppose. Daniels slides to the outside of the ring and grabs a ladder which also pops the audience. Moss has K-Remix in the ring and he attempts to lock K-Remix in a muay thai clinch but K-Remix fights out of it and pops Moss with an enziguiri. Moss drops to a knee and K-Remix grabs the back of his head. K-Remix postures for the fans for a moment before delivering a brutal knee to Moss’ face that puts The Infinity Warrior on the mat. Thad Balk: That was bone on bone! The Swag King Supreme has come to win here tonight in Denver. Filth Murphy: Why else would he show up? To lose? Who is he...me? K-Remix calls out to Denver and points at Daniels who is on the floor collecting a ladder. K-Remix hits the ropes closest to her, darts across the ring to the opposing ropes and then comes back with a heavy momentum corkscrew plancha to the outside that takes Daniels down and foils her attempts at collecting a ladder. Moss gets to his feet in the ring and moves to go and help his partner but Handbasket is up. She takes hold of Moss’ arm, spins him around and grounds him with a short arm clothesline. Thad Balk: K-Remix refuses to let Infinity Revolution get any kind of advantage early on here. The audience is torn but seems to favour Handbasket as she slides to the outside and helps K-Remix up to his feet. The Swag Baskets take possession of a ladder but as they pick up each end Daniels comes out of nowhere and dropkicks the ladder which takes both Handbasket and K-Remix down. The Swag Baskets lay on the outside mads with the ladder laid across both of their bodies. Daniels hops up onto the apron and then leaps off with a double stomp onto the ladder and consequently both K-Remix and Handbasket. Filth Murphy: Two for the price of one! Thad Balk: Innovative offense from the Heart of Infinity! Daniels takes hold of the ladder and slides it into the ring to Moss. The ladder teeters on the middle rope as Moss tries to bring it into the ring. Handbasket is back up quickly. She runs and leap frogs over Daniels and comes down with a stomp on the ladder that drives the other end into Moss’ face. Moss falls back onto the mat and the ladder slides off of the ropes and back down to the ringside area. Thad Balk: I think it is safe to say that Helena Handbasket is one of the most underrated wrestlers in Elysium right now. Filth Murphy: Yeah! Her and me! Super underrated. Thad Balk: Easy now. The Heart of Infinity tries to make a move on Daniels but K-Remix comes out of nowhere and catches Daniels with a flying knee to the face. Handbasket slides the ladder into the ring and then climbs in under the bottom rope. K-Remix keeps Daniels subdued on the outside with some hard stomps as Handbasket sets the ladder up directly under the Tag Team titles. Handbasket begins to climb as K-Remix does his best to keep Daniels down and out. Thad Balk: Helena Handbasket could do it here! Filth Murphy: Yeah but Moss is back up. See? Handbasket nears the top of the ladder when Moss springboards off the middle rope and lands on the other side of the ladder. He quickly ascends to the top and nails Handbasket with a hard elbow to the face. Handbasket eats it but continues to reach for the titles. Moss hits a second and then a third elbow which knocks Handbasket off of the ladder. She lands on her back on the mat. Moss sees K-Remix coming into the ring so instead of risking K-Remix pushing the ladder over Moss leaps off of the ladder with a frog splash onto Handbasket, he lands with a hard impact but makes sure to kick the ladder over as he jumps to prevent K-Remix from climbing too easily. Thad Balk: Smart move from Kevin Moss. He knew that he would not be able to grab the titles in time so he did more damage to Handbasket AND prevented K-Remix from having an easy path to the gold. K-Remix enters the ring and takes hold of the fallen ladder. As he struggles to set it up he notices that Daniels has a second ladder and has placed it on the apron. Instead of setting up the ladder that he has K-Remix runs and attempts to baseball slide the second ladder into Daniels’ face. Daniels moves at the last second and the ladder is simply kicked onto the floor. Daniels gets up on the apron and hits a springboard into the ring where she blasts K-Remix with a springboard superkick. Filth Murphy: Yeah I could never do that. Thad Balk: Few athletes could. Filth Murphy: Well I could if I practiced. Thad Balk: How does one practice that? Daniels rolls back to the outside of the ring and grabs the second ladder. In the ring Moss has the first ladder and is setting up. Daniels enters the ring with the second ladder and begins to set it up beside Moss. Both members of Infinity Revolution begin climbing separate ladders but both members of the Swag Baskets are back up. Handbasket begins climbing the other side of Daniels’ ladder and K-Remix starts climbing the other side of Moss’. Once at the top all four competitors begin exchanging punches. Thad Balk: Here we go! All out war for the Elysium Tag Team Titles! Daniels hits a big shot on Handbasket and then climbs to the top. She puts her feet on Handbasket’s side and reaches for the titles but Handbasket hits her with a shot to the mid-section that sees Daniels fall back, her body upside down on the otherside. Handbasket uses this opportunity to lock in the S.N.A.F.U. tarantula atop the ladder! Daniels has nowhere to go, she just lets out in pain. Moss sees this but can’t help his partner, he is still exchanging strikes with K-Remix on the other ladder. Filth Murphy: Holy shit I have never seen anything like this! Thad Balk: Alyssa Daniels has nowhere to go and she is enduring insane punishment. Moss subdues K-Remix with a shot and then turns on his ladder to try and help Daniels. K-Remix comes back to life and grabs Moss from behind, locking in a million dollar dream sleeper! K-Remix looks over at Handbasket, nods to her and then takes Moss off of the ladder with a modified Million Dollar Plex from the ladder down onto the mat. Both men lay in a heap and Denver is on their feet. Filth Murphy: Million Dollar Plex! Goodnight Kevin Moss. Daniels is screaming in pain as Handbasket pulls back on the tarantula, Handbasket just has a blank expression. Eventually realizing that she can’t win this way, Handbasket releases the hold. Daniels then sacrifices herself and gains momentum, shifting her body back and forth eventually toppling the ladder. Both competitors fall over and land on the mat. Both teams are down and the entire Pepsi Centre is on their feet. Thad Balk: Both members of Infinity Revolution are so clever. They know how to win but more than that they know how to make it so their opponents’ can not. Filth Murphy: I kind of understand what you mean but not really. K-Remix is up, followed by Handbasket. K-Remix takes hold of Moss and shoots him into the ropes but Moss hits a springboard, comes back and nails K-Remix with the Forever Blast! Handbasket sees this and explodes in anger. Handbasket rushes Moss and nails him with the Screw U! Knee. Handbasket gets back up and turns just in time to eat Amnesia from Daniels. Daniels then eyes the one standing ladder. Thad Balk: This is your time! Take hold of your destiny! Daniels begins climbing the ladder but K-Remix is back up to his feet. Daniels nears the top and K-Remix begins climbing. K-Remix tries to advance but Moss grabs his foot and holds him in place. K-Remix stomps on Moss’ head with his free foot but to no avail, Daniels has climbed to the top of the ladder and retirieved the Tag Team Titles. Robin O’Ryan: Here are your winners and new Elysium Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Alyssa Daniels and Kevin Moss, The Infinity Revolution! “I Will Not Bow” by Breaking Benjamin cues up and we get a shot of Alyssa Daniels at the top of the ladder holding both of the Tag Team Titles high in the air. Moss stares up at her partner and she quickly descends, handing him his title. Infinity Revolution stand in the middle of the ring holding their titles up for Denver to see.

Erik Holland: I hope you all paid very close attention. First view is of a television monitor, and then the camera swings around to see the Heavyweight Champion standing there, belt over his shoulder, entrance mask on his face...and if we could see that mouth, he'd be smiling. Erik Holland: The things that K Remix just put his body through for the Tag Team titles in that ladder match are WHY...we chose him for the Badd Breed, why we told him to COME HOME and he did so. Erik nods, giving big ups to his newest recruit. Erik Holland: NOW the Badd Breed is in the power position. Now we're feeling good about ourselves...but we shouldn't. Not yet. Because the cage...the CAGE is calling, Danny Boy! Erik YELLS that through the leather of the mask, his eyes popping as he does so. Erik Holland: SHIDO. It's time to stop the talking. It's time to stop the pontificating, the flexing and the preening. It's time for the Elysium World Championship to be PUT ON THE LINE. He holds the title up next to his head, Erik pacing back and forth like a lion. Erik Holland: The hungry cage awaits, SHIDO, and it's going to shiver in pleasure EVERY TIME our bodies bounce off of the unforgiving steel walls. It's going to shudder in ecstasy if...and when...our blood decorates that environment like paint on a canvas. Every time a weapon is swung, every time every one of those people cringes in pain as a weapon makes impact... Erik takes a deep, shuddering breath, closing his eyes. I think he needs a cigarette. Erik Holland: The cage will love it. The cage will claim US as its first victims tonight, SHIDO, no matter who wins or loses. But make NO mistake. You want control of Elysium...well, I AM Elysium. And you know you can't control me. You know you can't slow me down, you know you can't stop me. Erik gets VERY close to the camera now to where we can only see his eyes. Erik Holland: You know...you can't beat me. Now he backs up, so we can see the belt displayed prominently on his arm. Erik Holland: I've been anticipating this match since I demanded it, since it was signed. All I have to do is enough to get my hand raised and walk back up that aisle...or more accurately be carried back up...with the Heavyweight Championship in my hand. Again. Just like I did to you at Hallowed Ground. I so desperately want to see that look of emptiness, doubt..on your face again and know that I denied YOU the one thing that is going to legitimize you around here. AGAIN. Holland bites off that last word, flashing his eyes at the camera. Erik Holland: So I'll sacrifice everything I've got. I'll throw everything in my box at you and then go a step further. I'll be as sick as I've ever been and then I'll get sicker. He goes to walk off camera, and actually does so for a beat or two before he reappears, uncomfortably close to the lens as he breathes heavily on it for a few moments, misting up the lens. Erik Holland: 'Cause I've got a first class ticket to Hell. And I just wanna' know if you're comin' with me. The crowd pops as he shoves the camera back, and the last thing we see is the Badd Breed logo on the back of Holland's massive back as he departs his locker room.

Nothing atmospheric awaited the camera operator as they found SHIDO. The only thing that accompanied the number one contender, the man who would enter the Cage of Death, was the soft orchestral piece known as “Clair de Lune”. SHIDO played a maestro, finding peace in the song. As Yuki makes her way in, once again, she finds herself enraptured by SHIDO’s overall demeanor. She looks around, seeing the artistic pieces before she approaches SHIDO. Yuki Kita: S-SHIDO? She breaks him from his lulled state, and he responds by tilting his head back ever-so-slightly. SHIDO: Oh. With a sudden brandish of his hands, the music stops. Yuki seems surprised, and she searches his hands for a remote or some device that could do the deed. When she finds nothing, she arches an eyebrow. Yuki Kita: Tonight, you enter the Cage of Death with Erik Holland after what you did to Tiami. I understand that you’re not at all scared or worried, yet all of us are anxious to know of your game plan. The attack didn’t disturb as much as you thought it would. Is everything— SHIDO reaches up, cupping his hand around Yuki’s face. It’s gentle and non-threatening enough that she didn’t immediately recoil. It did interrupt her train of thought. Her eyes fluttered as the red-haired man gives her his full, undivided attention. SHIDO: Everything is fine. Yuki Kita: Fine? Her voice comes out as lulled as SHIDO was prior to her arrival. SHIDO: Yes, my pretty interviewer, everything is fine. Even if it wasn’t, I’m wonderful at improvisation. If I was to fail now, then my show is a sham. Alas, I’ll deal with my enemies, my critics the best way I know how. I’m going to enter the stage and steal the show from out under everyone. And for my performance, I’ll take the Elysium Heavyweight Championship as my award. He pauses. SHIDO: Ms. Kita, do you like Beethoven? She nods in his grip, but he alleviates this by letting go with a smile. SHIDO: Then tonight, I’ll play you something. He turns to leave her behind, but stops. SHIDO: Take another gander at what’s around you. You’ll truly understand it. Once he leaves, Yuki follows his words. As she does, her face starts to contort with fear. The camera operator enters to catch what Yuki sees. When they do, they see that the portraits originally that of beautiful landscapes now show countless pictures of Tiami’s broken state after the post-match attack.

The main event was up next. Both SHIDO and Erik Holland make their entrances and stand opposite each other in the ring. A horde of security guards stand between them as Robin O’Ryan makes the introductions. The referee holds up the title and then gives it to O’Ryan. She leaves the ring with the security guards and the cages is lowered. As it comes down we see various weapons attached to the sides. Two chairs, a fire extinguisher, a black pool cue bag and a small velvet bag. Filth Murphy: It is Christmas! Look at all of those toys Textbook. The bell sounds and it is SHIDO who comes right out of the gate. SHIDO charges Holland and then slides behind him. Holland turns to see SHIDO resting against the turnbuckle but only for a moment. SHIDO shoots forward again and again he slides behind Holland and this time SHIDO is on all fours staring up at the champion when he turns around. Holland takes one step forward and SHIDO goes to do this a third time but Holland catches him with a lariat that turns The Edge of Reality inside out. Thad Balk: SHIDO may have fancied him a God at one point but Holland just sees an opponent. Filth Murphy: I think he sees someone he wants to kill. Thad Balk: That is what SHIDO wanted to make Holland see but Holland sees someone that he wants to defeat. Holland takes SHIDO and tosses him into a cage wall face first. SHIDO bounces off and comes back only for Holland to grab him again and send him face first into another wall. Holland does this two more times, completing a tour of the cage and then he takes SHIDO over with a snapmare. Holland smacks SHIDO in the back of the head and then screams at him. Erik Holland: Come on! I thought you were God! Filth Murphy: Oooh trash talk. SHIDO gets up to his feet and then slithers behind Holland. SHIDO hits Holland with a chop block and then leaps over him with a standing blockbuster. With Holland down SHIDO is afforded some time to climb up the ropes and take hold of two steel chairs. SHIDO stands on the top rope and tosses one at Holland, hard. The chair smashes Holland in the head and then SHIDO leaps off the top rope and smashes the second chair as hard as he can into the champion’s head. SHIDO: You wanted this, Holland! YOU WANTED THIS! Filth Murphy: Oooh more trash talk. SHIDO screams at the champion and then starts viciously stomping on Holland’s face. SHIDO gets Holland up and whips him into the turnbuckle. SHIDO tries to follow that up with some kind of running move but Holland gets a boot up and it drops the challenger. Holland then reaches up and pulls down a black bag that is seemingly made for carrying pool cues. Holland unzips the bag and pulls out a bundle of a half dozen light tubes. The audience in Denver pops as Holland holds them high for all to see. Thad Balk: This is not going to end well. Filth Murphy: This entire situation was never meant to end well! Thad Balk: I suppose you are right. Filth Murphy: Of course I am. Holland allows SHIDO a moment to stand and when the challenger does Holland takes out one light tube and swings. SHIDO ducks under the shot and hits Holland with a hard forearm to the kidney. SHIDO then pulls Holland back and takes him over with a reverse Dragon suplex right into the wall of the cage! Holland crumbles in a heap and SHIDO takes hold of a new weapon that is hanging from the side of the cage, the fire extinguisher. Filth Murphy: Did you know that SHIDO actually volunteered as a fire fighter during 9/11. Thad Balk: No he did not. Filth Murphy: Wait… I’m thinking of Steve Buscemi. Easy mistake. Holland gets up to his feet and SHIDO empties the fire extinguisher but at the last moment Holland moves out of the way. SHIDO can’t see Holland through the cloud and this affords Holland the opportunity to pick up a light tube and smash it across the back of SHIDO’s head. SHIDO drops to both a knee and Holland picks up two more light tubes. Holland holds one in each hand and then brings them together, hitting SHIDO with one in the back of the head and the other in the face, shattering them both. Erik Holland: I told you I was ready for you! Filth Murphy: He did say that SHIDO! SHIDO lays on the mat and we see that the back of his head is bleeding and he also has several small cuts on his face. But he smiles. SHIDO is fucking smiling. Holland climbs to the top rope and as SHIDO stands, Holland calls out to Denver and leaps off with the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari top rope diving bulldog that sends SHIDO’s face right into the glass shards below. Holland takes a moment to recover and then rolls SHIDO over and covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: The champion nearly retains. The 98 day reign nearly continued. Filth Murphy: Nearly. SHIDO uses all of the three count to rest and kicks out just before the three count. Holland does not seemed bothered nor surprised by his opponent’s resilience. Holland sits up on the mat and looks down at SHIDO with a sick smile on his face. Erik Holland: The worst is yet to come! Holland stands and grabs one of the chairs. He waits for SHIDO to rise and when SHIDO does, Holland looks to smash him with it but amazingly SHIDO rolls forward, turns and runs at Holland. Holland turns just in time to get laid out with the Misfit Love slingblade. Holland rolls backward after taking the impact and seems to stand out of instinct. SHIDO takes hold of a chair and puts Holland’s head through the gap, making Holland wear it like a collar. SHIDO then picks up the other chair and swings, sending the first chair right into Holland’s throat which drops the champion. SHIDO smiles through the various trickles of blood running down his face. Thad Balk: We have never seen SHIDO in this bad of shape. He may have bitten off more than he could chew in accepting this match. Filth Murphy: Or this is all part of his plan. SHIDO grabs Holland by the hair and pulls his head up. SHIDO smiles at Holland and then soccer kicks him right in the face. SHIDO then sets up a chair and takes a moment to play to the audience, who totally hates him. SHIDO then gets Holland up, leading the champion by the wrist. SHIDO hits him with a few quick knees to the jaw and then takes Holland over with the Around The World wrist clutch Olympic slam but SHIDO makes sure that Holland lands right on the standing chair. Holland flattens it and SHIDO immediately covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: I thought that was it for certain! Filth Murphy: I kinda did too. Kinda. Holland kicks out and SHIDO stays on him. SHIDO climbs up the ropes and takes hold of a new weapon, the brass knuckles. SHIDO gets on Holland’s back like a camel clutch but while he struggles to get the brass knuckles on Holland takes him spins over, spins through and has SHIDO mounted. SHIDO gets one shot on Holland with the brass knuckles into Holland’s face which drops the champion. SHIDO stands and we see that Holland is bleeding from the mouth. Holland is laying face down when SHIDO pushes the champion’s face up against the cage and then takes a couple steps backward. SHIDO: Die, Holland, Die! Filth Murphy: Well that isn’t very Christian. SHIDO lines Holland up, wipes some of the blood from his face and then runs forward. SHIDO tries for a double dropkick to the back of the head but Holland rolls out of the way at the last second and SHIDO dropkicks nothing but the cage. Holland stands, grabs the fire extinguisher and holds it as high as he can before slamming it down on SHIDO’s face. If this were anything but wrestling that likely would have killed the challenger, let’s be real. Erik Holland: Come on motherfucker! Thad Balk: That is even less Christian. Filth Murphy: I disagree. Holland screams at SHIDO as he starts stomping on the challenger’s face. Holland gets SHIDO up and hits him with a knee to the mid-section. Holland than lifts SHIDO up for a powerbomb, runs and powerbombs him against the cage. SHIDO falls between the ropes and the cage but Holland isn’t done. Holland pulls SHIDO through the ropes and lifts him up for a second powerbomb, this time spinning and planting him with a sitout version. Holland covers, the lower half of his face a mess with blood. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: Erik Holland resembling Dracula here tonight in Denver. Filth Murphy: Please Textbook, no one gets that reference. SHIDO kicks out at the last possible second. Denver then turns their attention to the ramp as Tiami Erickson walks out from behind the curtain. Neither competitor in the ring sees her and Tiami stops at the bottom of the ramp, seemingly just out here to watch the results of the match. In the ring Holland gets SHIDO up and calls for the end. Holland sets SHIDO up for Project: GABRIEL but at the last moment SHIDO nails Holland with a back body drop into the cage wall. Thad Balk: You have to believe that had Holland hit that this match would be over. SHIDO gets up to all fours and he notices Tiami. SHIDO just smiles and turns his attention back to Holland. SHIDO picks up the three remaining light tubes and lays them on the mat. SHIDO stands Holland up and boots him in the mid-section. SHIDO then goes for a piledriver but Holland fights out of it, lifts SHIDO up and plants him onto the remaining light tubes with The Move From Another World! The glass shatters and every small shard is driven into SHIDO’s back. Holland covers, while noticing Tiami for the first time. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: Why is she out here? Finale said he’d fire her. Thad Balk: He said he would fire her if she got involved. She has not gotten involved. You can not blame the young lady for wanting to see SHIDO’s punishment up close. Filth Murphy: I can and I will blame her. Holland can’t believe it as SHIDO shoots his shoulder off the mat. Holland then looks to one side of the cage and sees a small velvet bag. Holland hobbles over to the turnbuckle, climbs and retrieves the bag. Holland opens the draw string and then slowly upends the bag dropping thousands of thumbtacks onto the canvas. Denver pops and Holland, bloodied, smiles. Holland drops off of the top rope and makes his way toward SHIDO. Thad Balk: The champion has dark designs in his head right now. Tiami gets closer to the cage and watches as Holland beats on SHIDO with some hard shots and then takes him over to a turnbuckle. We see that SHIDO is clutching something in his fist. Holland lifts SHIDO up to the top rope and then climbs to the top with him. Tiami watches through the cage and is so distracted that she doesn’t notice a hooded figure running down the ramp toward the ring! It’s only a few seconds before the figure collides with Tiami from behind and sends her face first into the cage. Thad Balk: Who on Earth is this? Tiami was just blindsided! The figure pulls back her hood to reveal that it is Elina Cartel! Holland doesn’t see this, he attempts to position SHIDO for a top rope Toxic Avenger but SHIDO fights out of it. SHIDO then takes whatever was in his palm and shoves it into Holland’s face. It’s apparently glass shards. SHIDO then quickly positions Holland and takes him off the top rope with the Bloodstained Love Story! Holland lands right in the middle of the pile of tacks and although it took a lot out of him, SHIDO is able to make the cover. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner and new Elysium Pro Wrestling World Champion, “The Edge of Reality” SHIDO! “The Man Who Stole The World” by Midge Ure cues up and the bell sounds. Both competitors lay motionless in the ring as the cage starts to raise. Elina Cartel has subdued Tiami Erickson at ringside and now she watches as the cage rises. Robin O’Ryan hands the referee the championship and Cartel enters the ring. Cartel helps SHIDO to his feet but the new champion can barely stand. Cartel puts the title over his shoulder and assists him in standing tall as the copyright logo appears and our last show of 2017 ends.
