EPISODE VII: DaybreakThe SSE HydroGlasgow, ScotlandJanuary 7th, 2018 The Elysium signature plays and then we get the opening video package. An edited version of “Nomad” by Death From Above 1979 begins playing over various action shots of Elysium wrestlers. The clips are stitched together giving you a sense of the action that is on deck. Each scene is colored by a red gradient and as each move is hit it is punctuated with added graphic effects. Adam Stryker clips Sam Hamilton with The Stryke out of nowhere. Alyssa Daniels sizes up Jamie Dorsey and runs at him, nailing him with Amnesia. Tiami Erickson comes at Jake Archer and blasts him with a shining wizard. Helena Handbasket hits Anthony Xavier with the Screw U! Knee. Ryleigh Mathis hits the ropes and puts K-Remix into the mat with the Magic Mirror wheelbarrow bulldog. SHIDO pulls himself up using the ropes. SHIDO then charges and breaks Banshee Muzzle hold that Vitoly Volkov has on Erik Holland by putting Volkov down with the Misfit Love sling blade! We then cut to studio shots. The first is of "The One Woman Army" F.M. Young completing a set of bench presses in the gym with the Iron Champion placed neatly on the floor beside her. The next shot shows K-Remix sitting backstage playing a Nintendo Switch with the Hybrid Championship in his lap. The final shot is that of SHIDO sitting on his throne, the World Championship in his lap. We close-up on SHIDO who smirks and then the shoot zooms out dramatically and the Frontline insignia burns onto the screen. We cut to the inside of The SSE Hydro. The pyro budget is on full display as fireworks and shit like that go off all over the arena. The Scottish fans are going insane and why wouldn't they? Elysium has made quite the trip to be here. We scan the audience a final time and then the shot lands ringside and the announce table. Thad Balk: Ladies and gentlemen it is 2018 and this is Elysium Pro Wrestling Frontline live from Glasgow, Scotland. I am “Textbook” Thaddeus Balk alongside my broadcast colleague Cyril “Filth” Murphy. Filth Murphy: Oh come on! Don’t call me Cyril, Textbook. Thad Balk: I make no promises on that front my friend but what I can promise is an explosive night of action here in Glasgow. Filth Murphy: Well obviously. We’re going to see the debuting Unstoppable Force take on Uprising to set the tone for the evening and then we’ll see a double debut match when Azurine Vebbins takes on Maddie Stokes. Thad Balk: Speaking of debuts we will then see lauded newcomer Kai Atticus take on Elysium mainstay Jake Archer. The winner of that contest may be in line to face the winner of tonight’s Iron Championship match between “The Titaness” Samantha Hamilton and champion “The One Woman Army” F.M. Young. Filth Murphy: I can’t fucking wait for that one. Those two are alike on paper but they are very different. Sam Hamilton is the rookie trying to prove herself and F.M. Young is the brick wall standing in front of her. I think that one is going to be a match for the ages. Thad Balk: I expect that to be an absolute war as well. But if we are talking about wars then we need to talk about Elina Cartel and Tiami Erickson. Cartel, the first Hybrid Champion, made her return to Elysium last week and took it upon herself to attack Erickson while the latter was ringside for Cage of Death. Filth Murphy: Erickson says that a beast has awoken inside her and that Cartel was the alarm buzzer. If you ask me that is exactly what The Inquiring Mind wanted. And she’ll pay for it. Thad Balk: Maybe she will, we will see. Following that we will see K-Remix put his Hybrid Championship on the line for the first time when “The Ringmaster” Adam Stryker stands across the battlefield from him as challenger. Filth Murphy: If the Iron Title match saw two sides of the same coin square off then the Hybrid Championship is a match between completely different currencies! Like Euros and… Playdough! Adam Stryker is a seasoned veteran and K-Remix… well... K-Remix is a man child with amazing luck. Thad Balk: I could not disagree more but it will be a fantastic clash of styles. The biggest clash of the evening will occur in our main event when former World Champion Erik Holland teams with the Tag Team Champions Infinity Revolution to take on the new World Champion SHIDO and the sadistic duo Enigma Protocol. Filth Murphy: I’m sure that match will be fought by the book and everyone will observe the rules. We are guaranteed a clean match. Thad Balk: One can only hope. It is 2018 and this is Elysium Pro Wrestling, a new year awaits. Filth Murphy: Let’s get to it. Frontline is now!

The magnificence was intoxicating. With the ring outfitted with lavish strips of golden material, angelic statues only added onto the supreme vision that SHIDO illustrated into his videos. A stone throne sits in the center of the ring, where SHIDO watches the audience. Their boos strikes SHIDO’s eardrums as a chorus to celebrate his victory. Golden sparkles fall from the sky, and it prompts SHIDO to stand up to the world. Around his waist is the Elysium Pro World Championship, the very item of his obsession, which he smiles at just the sight of. SHIDO: Good evening! The crowd even boos at his mere voice. He combs a hand through his hair with a laugh. SHIDO: Wow, wow, I see you don’t appreciate the fact that I told you so. The Edge of Reality takes off his championship, placing it on one of the awaiting statues. As he stands there, she looks around the ring before he takes a seat on the throne. He crosses a leg over the other with a relaxed expression and twirls the microphone in his hand. SHIDO: That red hair was odd, didn’t you think? But it was necessary. I disregarded my beauty just to show that I, too, can play the human role. Just like all of you, I can be vile and so blind to myself that I can do all the terrible things in the world. Now that I have gotten what I wanted, I look to you all with even more contempt. Why cheer a mess of a man like Holland, and boo a God like me? You could all shed that coil of yours and become something pure, some fantastic like me. He points to himself, with the most egotistical smile that he could. SHIDO: Oh wait, I believe all of you are waiting for Holland to come out here, drone on about how he’s going to rearrange my face, and hope that he’ll find a way to defeat me. Haven’t you all realized that SHIDO isn’t something to take lightly? I mean, if you have pink hair and a dumb personality, you’ll think me a coward. The champion stands up, walking forward to the edge of the ropes. SHIDO: What part of me is a coward? What’s your measure of what I am? I did war with your champion in his setting of choice, and I put him down. There were no distractions. There were no tricks. Nothing got in the way of him brutalizing me to every degree that he did, and to his credit-- SHIDO pulls back some of his hair, revealing a scar that he wears proudly, despite his obsessive nature with his own appearance. SHIDO: He did do just that, but what makes you all think that this rematch will be anything but a replay of what transpired? In every bout that we have had, I have shown that I’m the superior being that all of you will so quickly deny of me. Do you see me now? Do you see me now? A pause. SHIDO: Do you see me now?! SHIDO giggles, and relaxes. SHIDO: Nothing about Elysium is the same now. As I travel the world with this belt in tow, and I beat the heroes, the villains, and the monsters of the world--like I did with Emery Layton in Union Battleground, I want you all to accept my reality. I’m bringing you into my reality! Take pleasure in me educating all of you on what the world is really about! I’m taking you into the world that I made, and you’re all going to deal with it. One way or another. He retrieves his championship and rests it on his shoulders. SHIDO: Let me show you. The sparkles fall faster, turning it into a downpour, traces of silver and gold bringing SHIDO closer into the godly image he sees himself in. He holds his arms out as the statues move, coming forward to him. As they move to the throne, SHIDO rests on the throne, which they rise off the ground. Fireworks fly out as SHIDO enjoys the symphony of hatred the crowd gives to him. SHIDO: Welcome to Elysium, the real Elysium! I’m your God! A banner comes down from the rafters with SHIDO in a renaissance painting, akin to those of Napoleon, where he stands as the figure of absolution. With the championship held high and a glowing blade in the other, SHIDO represents himself as the God of Elysium, the Kronos of the wrestling world. Beside him is his muse, Elina Cartel, with both looking onward to eternity in their unyielding glory. With a symphony playing in the background, SHIDO leaves the viewers with the lasting image of the new World Champion, truly immersed in his perfect reality.

The first match of the evening sees the debuting Unstoppable Force, Billy and Tyler Anderson take on Liza Capernick and Madison Fitzpatrick, Uprising. The match begins with Billy and Capernick. Billy rushes Capernick but gets caught with a spinning back fist. Billy staggers forward right into a Double A spinebuster from The Egyptian Assassin. Capernick then tags in Fitzpatrick. Thad Balk: I spoke with all three members of Uprising earlier today and they told me that 2018 is going to see this trio rise back to prominence in Elysium. Filth Murphy: And why shouldn’t they? Uprising has been a fixture since the early days of Elysium. They deserve better! The Irish Hellcat enters the ring and Capernick lifts Billy up for a back suplex. Fitzpatrick hoists herself up onto the top rope and then leaps off with an inverted bulldog as Capernick completes the suplex. Billy goes down hard and Fitzpatrick gets up to her knees looking as determined as ever. Thad Balk: Madison Fitzpatrick did not have a great 2017 in Elysium. Filth Murphy: That was last year! Stop living in the past Textbook! Fitzpatrick gets Billy up and whips him into the Uprising corner. Fitzpatrick then catches Tyler with a spinning backfist that knocks him off of the apron. Fitzpatrick tags in Capernick and the two hoist Billy up to the top rope. Together both members of Uprising take Billy off of the top rope with a double superplex. Filth Murphy: These Anderson brothers are being railroaded! Capernick considers covering but then she gets Billy up. Capernick shoots him hard into the corner and when Billy staggers out into the middle of the ring she blasts him with the Asp Spit kick right to the face. Capernick then tagged Fitzpatrick back in. Capernick got Billy up for a sidewalk slam and Fitzpatrick helped out with an inverted DDT completely their Cataclysmic Symbolism finisher. Tyler tried to come in the ring and help his brother but got treated to an Asp Kick for his troubles as Fitzpatrick pinned Billy. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here are your winners, Liza Capernick and Madison Fitzpatrick, Uprising! “Hollywood” by Nickleback plays as Ryleigh Mathis enters the ring to celebrate with her teammates. Fitzpatrick and Capernick get their hands raised but Mathis takes hold of a microphone. Ryleigh Mathis: Tonight marks a new beginning for Uprising. 2018 is going to be our year. I will reclaim the Hybrid Championship and these two ladies will lay claim to the Tag Team Titles. The audience boos. Ryleigh Mathis: We are tired of being treated like second class citizens here in Elysium. I am a former Hybrid Champion. Uprising has practically been here since the beginning. We deserve some respect and since no one is smart enough to give it to us, we’re going to take it. All of that shit is being left in 2017. Everyone in this company is now on notice and everyone needs to be looking over their shoulder. Elysium is going to experience an uprising and it starts tonight. Know this. Mathis tosses the microphone over her shoulder and exits the ring with Capernick and Fitzpatrick following suit. The trio make their way up the ramp looking very pleased with themselves as the feed cuts.

EARLIER TODAY
A tipsy ginger kneels in front of a microphone while she mumbles "Rosanna" by Toto. Dressed to the sevens in an sky-blue button-up blouse, knee-length kilted skirt, thigh-high argyle stockings, and Highland ballet flats known as ghillies. Possible reasons for her sudden inebriation comes from thoughts of an ex as well as an inability to imbibe a single malt whisky. Aye, "The Adorkable Angel" Ms. Azurine Vebbins steadies for a new conflict mere hours away right here in Glasgow. The exact location cameras happen upon screams intimate, dust-covered karaoke room. Elysium Backstage Interviewer Yuki Kita strolls in to frame as a teary-eyed Vebbins restarts her performance. Azurine Vebbins: All I wanna do when I wake up in da mornin' is see your eyes Rosanna, Rosanna I never thought someone like you could ever care for me Rosanna, Rosanna All I wanna do in da middle of da evenin' is hold you tight Rosanna, Rosanna I didn't know you were lookin' for more than I... could...ever...be... Ms. Vebbins stage dives into Kita still under the mental framework that Kita resembles her ex. Only possible connection would be the striking dark-colored hair. Azurine sobs into Yuki's chest cavity but pulls herself away when she realizes an impromptu interview is about to commence. Yuki Kita: Ms. Vebbins, do you think you are mentally, emotionally, and physically capable of competing in your first match tonight? Azurine Vebbins: Mentally and emotionally, no, Kita. Bein' b-flat honest with you. Always bein' a wee bit nervous about doin' anythin' for da first time. Think da colloquial term in your vernacular is "da jitterbugs." My ex knew dat all too well. Dat explains da emotional variable of tonight's equation. In terms of mentally? I can't seem to get a read on my opponent Missy Stokes 'cause she hasn't provided a whole lot for me to research... Yuki Kita: Are you stating that your opponent's relative silence following your last promo has shifted your mental focus onto other matters, Ms. Vebbins? Azurine Vebbins: Aye. Pretty sure I'm takin' da first flight back to Paradise Valley after dis match 'cause I've been neglectin' my cleanin' chores. My ex deserves to traipse in a clean castle with their new sullen strin'-puller, Miss Kita. Apologies. Still experimentin' what's appropriate to say about my livin' situation. I mean, I haven't bumped into either of them, but I'm keepin' my chin up and head down. Yuki Kita: Shouldn't you also keep your head up? Azurine Vebbins: Fiddlesticks, you're right, Miss Kita. One match can mean da world. Adam Stryker and Sam Hamilton know dis well as both intend to become champions tonight. I'm just needin' to impress da brass here at Elysium or otherwise I'll be headin' back to polishin' da silver, brass, and whatnot back at my very humble abode. Yuki Kita: Think we've exhausted your mental and emotional faculties, but how will you fare physically against a second-generation athlete like "Mad" Maddie Stokes? Azurine Vebbins: Deoxyribonucleic acid aside, I highly doubt she's as conditioned as I am. Between cleanin' house, cookin' three meals a day, takin' out da garbage, long walks around da cul-de-sac, yoga, ocassional calisthenics, and um, well, uh, how do I euphemize dis? Oh yes...da phrase I'm lookin' for is "personal intimacy exploration," I have her beat more ways than there are definitions for her ring name. Now, if you'll excuse me, Miss Kita, I need to sober up for my tango with Missy Stokes. Of course, Miss Kita, do you know what's great 'bout da tango? Azurine Vebbins places her right hand on Yuki Kita's hourglass figure. Both women then engage in a two-minute tango which ceases with "The Adorkable Angel" spinning Kita towards the karaoke room exit door. Azurine Vebbins: To quote "Scent of A Woman": When you get tangled, you tango on. Cameras cut the feed with Vebbins handing Kita her single malt whisky bottle. Yuki's face displays utter confusion as she pours out an entirely full bottle, save three sips.

The next match is a double debut which sees the amnesiac Azurine Vebbins take on “Mad” Maddie Stokes. The match begins with your classic collar and elbow tie up. Stokes drops to her knees and takes Vebbins over with a quick fireman’s carry throw. Stokes stands and dusts off her hands, mocking Vebbins. Vebbins responds by mimicking Stokes, which puzzles the latter. Vebbins stands, dodges a right hand from Stokes, and in one fluid motion she takes Stokes over with a snapmare. Thad Balk: I have high hopes for both of these competitors. Filth Murphy: Well this is their chance. They had better not blow it. I did when I got my chance and now I’m stuck sitting with you, Textbook! Thad Balk: There are worse fates that this Cyril. Vebbins keeps Stokes grounded with a chin lock but Stokes quickly fights up and hits Vebbins with some sharp elbows to the mid-section which breaks Vebbins’ grasp. Stokes puts Vebbins on her back with a hip toss. Vebbins sits up and Stokes hits her with a quick dropkick to the back. Stokes then sits herself on the top rope and when Vebbins stands back up Stokes comes off the top rope with a blockbuster. Vebbins is rocked and Stokes covers. 1.. 2..! Thad Balk: Not enough to keep the… Filth Murphy: Say it. Thad Balk: ...um… Filth Murphy: I want to hear you say Adorkable Angel. Say it. Thad Balk: Not enough to keep this young lady down. Filth Murphy: Aw. The Adorkable Angel is able to kick out before the three. Stokes gets Vebbins up but Vebbins gets at Stokes with a couple of hard shots to the mid-section. Vebbins then introduces Stokes’ head into the top turnbuckle and then takes her over head with a release German suplex. Stokes lands on her neck and rolls backward and up onto her knees only to immediately catches a front dropkick to the face. The audience pops for this one but Vebbins doesn’t really seem to care. Thad Balk: It is my opinion that trying to figure out Azurine Vebbins would be a lot like trying to solve a rubix cube… if you were color blind. Filth Murphy: So… easier? Vebbins gets Stokes to stand and when she does Vebbins looks for an Irish whip but Stokes reverses it. On Vebbins’ return Stokes drops to her stomach and Vebbins jumps over her to hit the opposing ropes. Vebbins comes back again and Stokes leapfrogs over top of her and on her third return Stokes plants Vebbins into the mat with the Maddie Buster spinning spinebuster. Thad Balk: Oh and with that we have jumped to another level in this contest. Vebbins was rocked by that spinebuster. Filth Murphy: Yeah the pleasantries have been dispensed with! Thad Balk: Where did you learn a phrase like that? Filth Murphy: Frasier reruns. Scotland is behind Mad Maddie, many small pockets of the SSE Hydro are chanting her name. Stokes gets Vebbins up and shoots her hard into the corner. Stokes calls out to Scotland and then charges in and nails Vebbins with a high impact Maddie Splash! Vebbins staggers out of the corner and Stokes hits the ropes and catches Vebbins with the Butt Thump hip attack. Vebbins drops and Stokes has Scotland almost entirely on their feet. Filth Murphy: Maddie Buster. Maddie Splash. Butt Thump. We’ve got a real creative super genius on our hands here Textbook. The Adorkable Angel is down and out as Stokes grabs her by the head and then lifts her up and seats her on the top rope, facing the crowd. Stokes then climbs up to the top rope alongside Vebbins and sets her up for an avalanche shiranui but Vebbins seems to wake up. Vebbins hits Stokes with a forearm to the back of the head and then applies a half nelson! Vebbins pushes her feet onto the second rope and pulls Stokes off of the top with a top rope half nelson suplex! Both competitors come crashing down to the mat. Thad Balk: My word! Azurine Vebbins came to play here in her Elysium debut. The entire SSE Hydro is on their feet as Vebbins gets up. Stokes is up too but she is absolutely rocked. Vebbins points at her and then charges. Vebbins grabs Stokes’ arm and swings around her back in an attempt to catch Stokes’ other arm with her legs. Vebbins applies the crucifix and plants Stokes into the mat with an impressive and impactful crucifix ddt. Vebbins floats over into the cover. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: We are seeing exceptional resilience from Maddie Stokes. Filth Murphy: Yeah but how long can she survive an onslaught like this? I mean really. Stokes is able to kick out at the last possible second but Vebbins is not deterred. Vebbins gives her opponent a moment to recover. Stokes stands, with her hand on the second rope she is doubled over. Vebbins charges and puts Stokes face first into the mat with a bulldog. Vebbins quickly transitions that into a rear naked choke. Stokes fights hard to get out but Vebbins rolls and turns her away from the ropes. Stokes reaches out behind her but is too far away, all hope of victory begins to fade. Thad Balk: Excellent ring awareness from Vebbins. She is making it very difficult for Stokes to reach the ropes. Filth Murphy: Some would say that she has made it impossible. Scotland is clearly more behind Stokes because they started chanting her name in unison, trying to will her on. This seems to work as Stokes is able to roll onto her stomach. Stokes then pushes up to all fours with Vebbins on her back. Amazingly Stokes is able to stand and the SSE Hydro explodes. Stokes intentionally stumbles backward and smashes Vebbins into the corner. Vebbins hangs on, like some kind of feral animal. Stokes lumbers forward and then throws Vebbins back into the corner again, this time loosening the hold. Stokes then tosses a series of elbows backward into Vebbins’ head and finally the Adorkable Angel lets go. Thad Balk: Maddie Stokes is showing tremendous heart here. This is the kind of competitor that Elysium wants within the ranks. Vebbins is hanging on in the corner and Stokes runs in with another Maddie Splash that is far more impactful than the first. Stokes then leads Vebbins out of the corner and looks for a bionic lariat but Vebbins comes to life one final time and slides behind Stokes with a school girl! Stokes is taken by surprise and is trapped in the pinning predicament. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Adorkable Angel” Azurine Vebbins! “Problem” by Postmodern Jukebox cues up but is abruptly cut. Vebbins’ attention turns toward the rampway where three figures appear on the stage standing in a line. Thad Balk: What the hell are these three doing out here? Filth Murphy: They said that all of Elysium is on notice, Textbook. I guess that rookies are not exempt from that. Uprising collectively walk down the ramp at a deliberate pace. Ryleigh Mathis is in the middle and she is flanked on either side by Madison Fitzpatrick and Liza Capernick. The three reach ringside and Mathis stands at the bottom of the ramp while Fitzpatrick goes to the left side of the ring and Capernick to the right. In the ring Vebbins looks perplexed and Stokes is now up to her feet. Thad Balk: Things do not look good for the newcomers but one has to wonder which of them is the target. Filth Murphy: I don’t think Uprising gives a shit. Simultaneously all three members of Uprising climb up onto the apron and then enter the ring. Stokes and Vebbins exchange glances. The rookies strike. Vebbins catches Capernick with a forearm smash and Stokes hits Fitzpatrick with a quick dropkick but Mathis nails Stokes with a Net Banger corkscrew back elbow that drops her. Mathis then does the same to Vebbins and Fitzpatrick joins her in putting the boots to Vebbins. Thad Balk: This is absurd. These two competitors just had a hell of a match. Capernick gets Stokes up and dumps her over the top rope to the outside as Mathis stands Vebbins up. Mathis shoots Vebbins over to her partners and the duo of Fitzpatrick and Capernick plant Vebbins with their Cataclysmic Symbolism double team. Vebbins is planted and Uprising stand over top of her, their message sent.

Cut to the backstage area of the The SSE Hydro where we see Diego Velez walking down the hallway with a brown bag in his hand. He takes a few steps before turning and walking into a locker room with K-Remix's name on it. Once inside we find K-Remix sitting in a chair with a 3DS in his hand mashing buttons. Diego walks over and drops the brown bag in his lap. Diego Velez: One bottle of Scottish rum. I still can't believe that you asked for a bottle of rum. Going to take a little pre-match shot to take the edge off? K-Remix looks up from his game raising an eyebrow. K-Remix: You should know me better than that. This isn't for me. Diego Velez: Hey you never know. Thought you might be trying to calm you nerves. You know, since nobody has successfully defended that Hybrid Championship yet. K-Remix: Nope. And don't worry about the Hybrid Championship curse. I've got a remedy for that problem, trust me. Diego Velez: If you say so. Anyway, I've been running around everywhere trying to find you a bottle of rum. My managerial work is done and I've got to take a leak. Diego gets up and walks out of the room leaving K-Remix on his own. K-Remix sets his 3DS down and picks up the gym bag resting at his feet. He pulls the Elysium Hybrid Championship from the bag and lays the title in front of a nearby locker. Remix then pulls the rum from the brown bag and a lighter from his pocket. Next he opens the locker to reveal all kinds of lucky charms hanging inside. A four leaf clover, a horseshoe, a pair of fuzzy dice, a rabbit's foot, malachite, and even a box of Lucky Charms! However the piece de resistance is standing right in the middle of the locker with a cigar protruding from his mouth and an empty cup sitting in front of him. That's right, it's Jobu. K-Remix lights his cigar and fills the empty cup with rum. A smile now spreads across Remixes face. K-Remix: Forget the Hybrid Championship curse. I got this shit. K-Remix goes back to playing his 3DS as the cigar continues to burn. With that we cut back to ringside.

The match starts with Kai Atticus already in the ring and Jake Archer coming out to a chorus of boo's. He stomps his way to the ring, pointing his thumbs at himself and yelling 'the best.' Atticus tries to offer a handshake when Archer gets into the ring, but his hand is batted away and the official rings the bell. Archer takes advantage of the momentary confusion that his refusal to shake hands caused and boots Atticus in the stomach. Archer goes for a pele kick but Atticus drops to the ground avoiding it, he rolls up hitting Archer with a high mule kick. Filth Murphy: 2018 is the year of The G.O.A.T. Victim number one? Kai Atticus. The Swan Song. Whatever the fuck that means. Thad Balk: I believe it has a similar meaning to Finale. Filth Murphy: And that’s a dumb name too! Archer goes bouncing into the ropes and atticus catches him as he comes off with a snapmare driver that brings Archer to the mat with a thud. Archer gets to his feet and comes off the ropes with a dropsault that puts Kai on his back. Archer keeps his momentum on a roll with flying double axe handle as Atticus gets up, which puts the Swan Song right back on the mat. Archer grabs Atticus up and monkey flips him across the ring, following after him with a big splash just after Atticus hits the turnbuckle. Thad Balk: I will say that Jake Archer is in rare form here tonight. Perhaps the new year has indeed made a “new me” out of Jake Archer. Kai flops down to the mat again on his back, Jake struts around the center of pointing his thumbs at himself again and taunting the crowd enjoying his momentum and riling the crowd up. Archer completely misses Atticus getting back to his feet, rubbing his forehead in frustration and he wastes no time in throwing Archer across the ring with a Hurricanrana. Archer bounces off the ring ropes and gets caught by Atticus who spins him around in the air before nailing him with a back breaker. Filth Murphy: A win for Atticus here, which is super unlikely, is a big deal. The G.O.A.T. may not have the best record but he is undeniably Mr. Elysium. Thad Balk: I would concur. He is Last Kingdom through and through. Kai comes off the ropes himself with a springboard leg drop and then hooks Archers leg for a cover. 1.. 2..! Archer finds it in himself to kick out at two and as Kai backs away Archer catches him with a leg sweep. Jake goes for a small package and thumbs Atticus in the eye while the ref is sliding in to try and keep him down but Atticus powers out at one and lays into Archer with stiff forearms. Atticus seems fired up with near fall, determined to not let Archer get the better of him again he keeps on the offensive with a couple of wild kicks. Archer has got nowhere to go but back and Atticus grabs him in a spring board and tosses him into the turnbuckle this time. Thad Balk: Mr. Archer is on the ropes. Both literally and figuratively. Archer grabs the turnbuckle and spins himself around, crouching down to catch his breath. This sets him up perfectly for Kai to come in hot with the Umbra (720 kick to crouched opponent). Archer flops to the mat and Atticus jumps over him to climb up the corner buckle. Atticus throws his arms out, getting the crowd to cheer for him, taking a small bow before he sets up and nails a perfect Swan Song (Shooting Star Knee Drop, to chest or back) . The crowd cheers louder as he hooks Archers leg! 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Swan Song” Kai Atticus! Kai Atticus jumps to his feet and spins in the ring soaking in his victory as "Worlds Apart" by Times of Grace plays over the sound system.

Walking through the hallway we see a man in his sixties walking. He is flanked on either side by a half dozen security guards. The man looks weary but not afraid. No. It would take a lot more than six men to make this man sweat. The group stops a few feet short of a door which bares a nameplate which reads “President”. One of the security guards raps his knuckles on the door in a deliberate pattern. A few seconds pass and the door opens and a woman stands in the door frame. She is of small stature but she is exceptionally beautiful and she stands in a way that screams confidence. Security Guard: Ms. Holiday, I have-- Ramona Holiday: I know who it is Deputy Dog. You can leave. The Security Guard shrugs and orders his team away with a motion of his hand. Once they disperse it leaves Holiday standing in the door frame looking the older man up and down. Ramona Holiday: I guess I owe Rory twenty dollars. I figured that “The American” Rick Walsh would see Elysium as a “toxic environment”. Rick Walsh: A toxic environment is one where you don’t have a purpose. Ramona Holiday: Is that why you’re here Rick? To find… purpose? Rick Walsh: That. And money. Ramona Holiday: Well I can’t fault you there. Holiday steps to the side. Ramona Holiday: Please. Come in. Walsh steps past Holiday and she keeps her eyes on him. The camera follows Walsh into the room and we see a desk where Elysium President Finale sits, his feet kicked up on the table. He has a plastic dossier in his hand. He lowers the dossier and we see his eyes, which light up when he sees Walsh. Finale tosses the dossier onto the desk and we see the label on it which reads “Union Battleground”. Finale: Walsh. You made it! Finale stands and extends his arms. Walsh does not do the same. Finale: Oh come on Walsh don’t be an asshole. I thought that we put all of that behind us when I invited you here? Rick Walsh: Me too. Then you practically had me led in here on a leash by six trainers. Finale: I can’t be too careful these days Walsh. My brother disappeared off the face of the Earth. I could be next. And I can’t be next Walsh. I have a company to run. Rick Walsh: Then why don’t you have this office filled with babysitters? Finale: Ha. Ramona is the only person I trust to have this close. Well… aside from you maybe. Rick Walsh: You don’t have to worry about me kid but you do need to tell me why I am here. Finale: Well Walsh I need a right hand man. I give the orders, I make the big decisions but I need someone to enforce them. I believe in my roster but I do not trust them. This is pro wrestling after all. One of them could be behind my brother’s disappearance and if they take me out then there is no one to run Elysium. I disappear, Elysium dies. Rick Walsh: So you want them to take me out? Finale: They won’t. There would be no point. That’s why this makes sense. I give the orders, you enforce them. The American is my right hand. That work for you? Rick Walsh: I don’t really have a choice, kid. Finale: Close enough! Finale walks back to his desk and sits down. Finale: Now close the door. We have lots of work to get to. Walsh sighs and Holiday ushers the cameraman out the door. Walsh then closes it and the scene cuts.

The next match of the evening is a delightful little contest that operates under Iron Rules. Our competitors took full advantage of that because they didn’t even bother with entrances! They started the match backstage in the gorilla position. Luckily our ace cameramen were back there to catch it all. Samantha Hamilton and champion F.M. Young are exchanging rights and lefts until Young catches Hamilton with a knee to the mid-section. Young then whips Hamilton hard into a road case. Thad Balk: These two competitors do not like each other. Filth Murphy: Way to undersell it Textbook. These two hate each other. I don’t think there has been any more hate between any two competitors in Elysium… ever. Hamilton is recovering in a seated position next to the road case. Young measures Hamilton and then charges and looks to hit Hamilton with a running knee but Hamilton dives out of the way and Young’s smashes her knee into the road case. The impact sends Young flying over the road case. Hamilton stands and uses her incredible strength to lift the case up and drop it on top of Young. It lands with a crunch and The One Woman Army lets out in agony. Thad Balk: That was at least one hundred pounds dropped right onto the champion’s shoulder! The Titaness gets Young up and leads her toward the curtain and there we see the production area. Various agents and producers sit, watching monitors. Hamilton salutes them as she leads Young by but Young grabs one of their old ass monitors, swings it and cracks Hamilton in the side of the head with it. The sound would make anyone with a weak constitution puke. Hamilton drops to her knees and Young winds up and smashes Hamilton again in the back of the head. Hamilton falls forward and rolls through the curtain. Thad Balk: This match may be over before it reaches the ring. That sounded like a concussion to me. Filth Murphy: This is the Iron Division. Hamilton knew what she was getting in to. The Iron Division is a brutal place and my guess is that it’s only going to get worse. Thad Balk: A fair prediction. The shot now shows the stage, Hamilton has rolled out onto the stage and her eyes are glazed over. Young stomps out from behind the curtain, favouring her right shoulder because of the road case that was dropped on top of it. Young looks absolutely incensed. Young gets Hamilton up and she smashes her in the face with a forearm. Young then grabs Hamilton by the back of the head and introduces her face to the cold hard steel of the set. Young does this several times and harder each time. Young boots Hamilton in the mid-section and then plants her with a ddt onto the steel flooring of the stage. Thad Balk: F.M. Young calls herself The Gatekeeper of Elysium but what she has done so far may keep the gate to Elysium closed to The Titaness closed forever. The camera closes in on Hamilton’s face and her forehead is busted wide open. Young looks pleased as fucking punch. The One Woman Army starts to drag Hamilton down the ramp by her hair and Hamilton screams in pain. Not wanting to hear it, Young turns around, mounts Hamilton and starts smashing her in the face with a series of forearms opening Hamilton’s forehead up even more. Young then gets Hamilton up, slings her over her shoulder and marches toward the ring. Thad Balk: For those who haven’t been paying attention, Iron Rules state that everything is legal but the decision must take place in the ring. Filth Murphy: I think that the decision is going to take place in about thirty seconds. Once Young reaches the bottom of the ramp she sits Hamilton on the apron. Young laughs at Hamilton and this earns her a boxing of the ears. Young staggers backward and Hamilton stands up on the apron, blood dripping down her face. Hamilton jumps off of the apron and takes Young down with a crossbody to the floor. The audience pops for The Titaness but she is definitely hurting. Hamilton gets up to all fours and stands, an evil look in her eyes. Sam Hamilton: This is what you fucking wanted, remember?! Thad Balk: The Titans may have lost their war but The Titaness refuses to lose this one. Filth Murphy: Like she has a choice. Hamilton reaches under the ring and she pulls out a sledgehammer. Young stands up but doesn’t have time to react as Hamilton cracks her in the head with a big sledgehammer shot. Young drops to her back and we see that she is sporting a slice on her forehead that is comparable to the one on Hamilton’s. Young, being the crafty veteran, feels the warm blood running down her face and knows that she has to get back up as quickly as possible. So she does. Filth Murphy: Young refuses to just lay there and die! Young gets up and rushes Hamilton but Hamilton feeds that fucking sledgehammer right into Young’s belly. Hamilton then slides Young into the ring. Hamilton enters the ring as well and the bell sounds. That’s right, the match hadn’t even started yet. Young gets up again but this time Hamilton grabs her and applies the Exiled To Tartarus (Sleeper Hold) but modifies it by bringing the sledgehammer across Young’s throat! The champion’s face is red because of the blood but starts to go purple thanks to the lack of oxygen. Thad Balk: We are seeing a different side of Hamilton here tonight. This is going to be a benchmark moment in her career. Filth Murphy: Yeah. The moment when she committed murder. Sam Hamilton: You should have taken me more seriously ‘One Woman Army’! The One Woman Army is able to reach behind Hamilton and lift her up. Young then falls backward with a back suplex and the back of Hamilton’s head hits the top turnbuckle which monetarily stuns her. Both women are down on the mat and Scotland applauds the sheer brutality that they have seen so far. Young rolls to the outside of the ring. She reaches under the apron and pulls out a bucket. Young wipes some blood out of her eyes and pulls the lid off of the bucket. Young then pulls out a bundle of light tubes. Thad Balk: I do not like the looks of this. Filth Murphy: I love it! What could beeee in the bucket? Nothing good! Hamilton starts to come to in the ring and on the outside Young has stomped on the light tubes, turning it into a pile of glass shards. Young then plunges her one hand into the bucket and pulls it out. The camera zooms into show that the label reads “Industrial Adhesive”. Young then rolls her fist in the broken glass which causes a lot of it to stick to her fists. Gangster shit. Young holds up her hand, covered in glass, and smiles. Young rolls back into the ring but Hamilton is up and she flattens Young with a spear. Filth Murphy: F.M. Young is officially the baddest bitch in Elysium. In my books. Thad Balk: Why is there industrial glue under the ring? Filth Murphy: Because wrestling, Textbook. Get with it. Thad Balk: I guess. Both women lay on the mat and we get a cool aerial drone shot showing both women looking up on the lights, their faces covered in blood. The SSE Hydro is chanting “This is awesome.” because they are wrestling fans. Any other kind of person would be chanting “Call an ambulance.” or they’d be actually calling one because this is a fucking horror show. Hamilton gets up and looks like she just starred in the final act of a stage production of Carrie. Young is up and she swings her broken-glass-covered fist at Hamilton evades it and drops Young with a backbreaker. Hamilton falls into a cover. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: For the sake of everyone involved I want this match to end. Young kicks out, Glasgow is legitimately shocked. Hamilton herself can’t believe it. We know this because her bloody expression is one of...you guessed it...disbelief. Hamilton gets up to a knee and grabs Young right arm (the one she dropped a road case on) and she applies a cross armbreaker. Young screams in agony but remembers all of the shattered glass that she has at her disposal. Young straight up starts stabbing Hamilton in the calf with a tiny glass shard that makes The Titaness break the hold immediately. Thad Balk: Get someone out here to stop this. This is not sport. This is not entertainment. This is a few moments away from being a fucking snuff film. Filth Murphy: Balk… you swore… Thad Balk: I rarely do but this occasion called for it. I did not sign up to advocate for this kind of violence. Filth Murphy: You called Cage of Death. Thad Balk: This is on another level of senseless violence. Hamilton rolls around holding her calf in severe pain. Young stands and mounts Hamilton. Young holds her fist up for all of Glasgow to see and Glasgow boos heavily. Young then starts punching Hamilton in the face with her glass covered fist. Over and over again. With each punch more glass is driven into The Titaness’ face. Hamilton is able to buck Young off and roll onto her stomach. Thad Balk: I refuse to continue calling this match. This is not wrestling. Filth Murphy: Well I guess that it’s the Filth show! The champion stands and smiles, her teeth stained red with her own blood. Young then sees that Hamilton is positioned perfectly so she pulls herself up to the top rope and she nails Hamilton with a picture perfect Negasonic Warhead (Starship Pain). Young lands right on Hamilton’s lower back and the challenger screams in agony. Young aggressively rolls Hamilton over and covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: Hamilton is still alive? Are you kidding me? Incredibly Hamilton kicks out and Glasgow explodes. Young looks shocked herself and why shouldn’t she be? Hamilton is closer to death than life, let’s be real. Young is pissed, rightfully so. Young gets Hamilton up, using the latter’s hair. Young looks Hamilton in the eye and slaps her in the face. Hamilton responds by spitting a big ol’ glob of blood in Young’s face. Young snarls and lifts Hamilton up for a gorilla press but Hamilton slips behind Young and takes hold of the sledgehammer. Filth Murphy: This is the coolest fucking match I’ve ever seen. Young turns and walks right into a sledgehammer shot to the mid-section. This causes her to release a giant mouthful of blood onto the canvas. Hamilton then measures Young and uses a two handed swing to smash Young in the face with a sledgehammer shot. (I know this seems unrealistic but it’s a wrestling sledgehammer shot so suspend your disbelief). Young is knocked back onto the canvas. Young turns her head to the side and releases a glob of blood...and two teeth onto the mat. Filth Murphy: She lost teeth! Hamilton made Young spit out her own teeth! The Iron Division has just been taken to a whole other level of brutality. Hamilton drops to a knee, clearly dizzy from all of the blood lost. However she stands and limps toward Young, her calf bleeding as well. Hamilton grabs Young and seats her on the top rope. Hamilton calls for the end and gingerly climbs up to the second rope but Young grabs her by the back of the head and hits her repeatedly with her glass covered fist. Young hits Hamilton until Hamilton goes limp. Hamilton falls backward off of the second rope and lands on the mat with a thud. Filth Murphy: Are there any universal blood donors in the house? A few seconds pass and the referee checks on Hamilton. Young drops down off of the top rope to her feet but immediately drops to a knee. Young tries to shake it off but she is fucked right up. A minute passes and then Young tries to advance on Hamilton but the referee gets in her way, he calls for the bell. Robin O’Ryan: Ladies and gentlemen the referee has decided that Samantha Hamilton can no longer continue so here is your winner and still Elysium Pro Wrestling Iron Champion, F.M. Young! No music plays because Young is handed the belt and she collapses. Both women are down on the mat. There is blood everywhere. The audience goes silent as EMTs rush to the ring with two stretchers. The EMTs begin attending to both competitors as we go to commercial.

EARLIER TODAY
We cut to video from earlier in the day. We see the fans gathered around the SSE Hydro. They are waiting to enter the facility and trying to catch some of the Elysium stars for autographs and pictures. The fans suddenly start to boo and jeer as Ryan Gates, Miguel Villalobos, and Cheyenne Black arrive. The trio return the hate with looks. Miguel going so far as to respond in spanish with obvious threats. Fan: Well, if it ain’t the two lads who felt the need to beat up a couple of wee lasses. Miguel is the first one to stop. Cheyenne has to put a hand on Gate’s shoulder to stop him. Miguel turns and takes a couple of steps towards the heckling fan. Miguel Villalobos: Dilo a mi cara, perro. Fan: Sorry lad, can’t understand ya. Doesn’t matter though, pussy women beaters like you ain’t got nothing to say what's worth listening to anyways. Miguel dropped his bag and stood face to face with the fan. Cheyenne: Here we go. Ryan get ready. Gates shakes his head with a chuckle. The fan and Miguel are going back and forth with each other, trying to be the loudest and rudest. Their argument has drawn the attention of both the police and security. Almost as if on cue Miguel and the fan start to trade blows. Cheyenne and Gates rush over and try to pull Miguel off of the fan. The Fan’s buddies do the same with him. Police and Security rush in and are able to stop the fight before either combatant gets injured. Security escorts the Enigma Protocol into the facility as the police deal with the fan. Miguel grinning the entire time.

The bell is rung with little to no hesitation. Both Erickson and Cartel stare one another down for perhaps five seconds. Finally, the two women rush towards one another. Erickson is the first between the two to make an attempt to execute an offensive move. She attempts to catch Cartel in a Belly to Belly Suplex, only for Cartel to slip out of her grip. Thad Balk: I am very interested to see if Elina Cartel has any ring rust. Filth Murphy: Textbook that is a pretty fucked up thing to say. Thad Balk: What do you think ring rust means Cyril. Filth Murphy: ...what do you think I think it means? Thad Balk: Just call the match. Cartel darts forward, beginning to throw a barrage of martial arts punches and kicks towards Erickson. All while trying to force her into one of the corners. Erickson uses one arm to try to shield her upper body and face. When Erickson finally sees an opening, she gets Cartel’s head in a front face lock and pulls her down onto the mat with a DDT! Erickson goes for a cover! Filth Murphy: I wasn’t calling the action when Cartel was around but I think it’s going to take more than a DDT to keep a former Hybrid Champion down. 1.. Filth Murphy: And I was right. And Cartel easily gets a shoulder up. Erickson begins trying to force Cartel back up to her feet. Cartel retaliates by shoving Erickson back into a corner. Taking advantage of the Pretty Badass being slightly dazed, Cartel goes to the opposite end and climbs up the ropes. Erickson rubs her forehead, trying to shake the damage off. Erickson starts off walking back towards the center. When she lifts her head and sees Cartel on the top rope, however, Erickson breaks into a run to try to stop her. Filth Murphy: I bet this ends well. Thad Balk: Erickson needs to do whatever she can to halt Cartel’s momentum. Before Erickson can get to her opponent, Cartel jumps off in order to perform a missile dropkick! While Erickson is still reeling from the aerial assault, Cartel goes back and climbs on top of the ropes a second time. Cartel stares down at Erickson, making sure she's not playing opossum. Cartel then lunges off the turnbuckle and gets her Supernova (Double Knee Facebuster) move executed! Cartel goes for a pin! Filth Murphy: It’s over! 1.. 2.. Filth Murphy: Kidding! Erickson kicks out and then comes back to life. The Pretty Badass pops up and whips Cartel into the ropes. On Cartel’s return Erickson takes her over with a back body drop. Erickson then gets Cartel back up to a vertical base and shoots her in to the ropes again. This time Erickson hits the opposing ropes and with that added momentum she turns Cartel inside out with a clothesline. Thad Balk: There is the Tiami Erickson that we need to see. If she wants to win this match then she needs to continue acting like that. Feeling very proud of herself Erickson keeps the pace quick. Erickson delivers Cartel into the corner with serious force and then follows that up with a running elbow, again. Cartel staggers forward and walks right into a scoop brainbuster from The Pretty Badass. Cartel is rocked and Erickson covers. 1.. 2..! Thad Balk: Excellent strategy from Erickson. She knows that Cartel has a history of head injuries. Filth Murphy: So she’s an opportunist. How shameful... Cartel kicks out before the three and rolls onto her stomach. Erickson keeps the pressure on by sitting Cartel up. Erickson kneels behind Cartel and starts dropping some elbows across her right collar bone. Cartel eats a couple of these before fighting upto her feet. Cartel then positions her head under Erickson’s chin, grabs the back of Erickson’s head and drops to her knees with a jawbreaker. Thad Balk: Desperation move from The Inquiring Mind! Erickson is rocked and she stumbles backward into a corner. Cartel knows that she needs to do something big here to turn the tide so she runs, somersaults forward, pops up and catches Erickson with a monkey flip that sends Erickson sailing half way across the ring. Erickson lands hard on her back and Cartel has bought herself some time to recover. Filth Murphy: That move was the whole fuckin’ show! Thad Balk: You really forced that one. Filth Murphy: Give me a break the show is like a week late. Thad Balk: What are you talking about? Filth Murphy: Nevermind. The Pretty Badass gets back up, favouring her lower back. Erickson knows that if she doesn’t act now Cartel could run away with this match so Erickson dashes forward and walks right into a spinning knee kick to the jaw. Erickson staggers backward and then drops to a knee which is pretty much an invitation for Cartel to hit her with a shining wizard. An invitation that gets an affirmative RSVP. Cartel covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: The kneecap is almost a night cap! Erickson kicks out at the last possible second. Erickson rolls to the outside for safety but Cartel is all “Nuh uh”. Cartel runs and hits the opposing ropes and then she charges and bullets through the ropes with a suicide dive but it’s Erickson’s turn for a “nuh uh” moment because she sidesteps Cartel and guides her in a less-than-lovingly fashion head first into the guardrail. Thad Balk: That move may have completely turned the tide of this contest. Erickson really needed that. Filth Murphy: And again she goes for the easy target. Thad Balk: Some would call that strategy. Filth Murphy: I call it rude. The First Lady of The Badd Breed gets Cartel up and before putting her back in the ring she decides to show Cartel some of the sights around ringside. First stop is the apron. Erickson lifts Cartel up and drops her face first onto the apron. Cartel drops to her knees, holding her face because --newsflash-- that didn’t feel so great. Thad Balk: This match is slipping through Elina Cartel’s fingers! The second stop on Tiami’s Tour of Terror is the ringsteps. Erickson ripcords Cartel and sends her hard into the ring steps. So hard that Cartel flips right over top of them and lands hard on her back. The third and final stop seems to be the ring post because while holding the back of Cartel’s head, Erickson points at the ring post. Filth Murphy: Well I wonder what’s gonna happen next. What a rookie move, calling your shot. Thad Balk: I actually agree. Erickson needs to end this, not showboat. Glasgow is ready to see it and Erickson goes to smash Cartel’s head into the ring post but at the last second Cartel gets her boot up to stop it. Cartel then puts Erickson’s face into the ring post. Erickson’s bell gets rung and before she even knows what happened Cartel rolls her into the ring. Filth Murphy: Hello? Yes, Ms. Erickson? I have a skull fracture on line one. Cartel slides into the ring and before she can act Erickson gets her up in a fireman’s carry (probably just out of instinct) and looks fire the Firebird’ Silencer but Cartel slips behind her, spins Erickson around and blasts her with the Eclipse (540 Gyro Crescent Kick). Erickson drops and Cartel covers. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Inquiring Mind” Elina Cartel! “Machines” by Giorgio Moroder cues up and Cartel gets her hand raised. She only entertains this for a moment before she gracefully leaves the ring and heads up the ramp.

In the hallway we see the three members of Uprising all looking as pleased as punch with themselves. With them on screen now they have been in three segments on one show so they should be pleased. That’s a lot of exposure. They look pleased until the massive frame of Rick Walsh walks into… frame. Madison Fitzpatrick: Can we help ye grandaddy? Rick Walsh: No you’ve already done enough m’dear. Liza Capernick: Who the hell are you and what do you want then? Capernick steps forward and gets right in Walsh’s… chest. Rick Walsh: Well ladies I have been hired as Finale’s Executive Assistant and it is my job to inform talent about decisions that he has made. The name is Rick Walsh, pleased to meet you. Ryleigh Mathis: So you’re his old ass errand boy? Shouldn’t you be retired? Rick Walsh: Yeah well you’ll learn when you get to be my age things don’t always go to plan. Now I’m here to let Fitzpatrick and Capernick know that after what y’all did to those rookies Azurine Vebbins and Maddie Stokes earlier tonight you are going to face them in three weeks at Cataclysm in a tag team match. Fitzpatrick and Capernick actually look pleased with this announcement. Mathis looks less than pleased. Ryleigh Mathis: And what about me? Do I get to face the winner of the Hybrid Championship match, considering I never got my rematch? Rick Walsh: No. Mathis huffs and the other two members of Uprising encircle Walsh. He doesn’t look concerned. Rick Walsh: No you see Mathis title rematches are not guaranteed in Elysium. You haven’t won a match in some time so you do not deserve a title match. But you can earn one and we are going to give you that opportunity. Ryleigh Mathis: I am listening. Both Fitzpatrick and Capernick take a step back. Rick Walsh: At Cataclysm you will be involved in the first ever Carte Blanche Match. This is a match that will see three competitors who are in need of a big break get the chance to earn one. The winner of the match has the ability to challenge for any championship, whenever they want. This is meant to motivate everyone in the match to rise to the occasion. Walsh then bends his knees and looks Mathis in the eyes. Rick Walsh: Don’t blow it. Walsh then stands up straight and walks away leaving Uprising to plot their next move.

The second title match of the evening sees the undefeated veteran Adam Stryker take on K-Remix for the Hybrid Championship. The bell sounds and the two men walk to the center of the ring. There Stryker extends his hand and K-Remix takes a moment before accepting it. Glasgow liked that because honor means something in this fucking country. Thad Balk: That is nice to see. Sportsmanship. After the bloodbath which was our first title match tonight this is very refreshing. The two then lock up and Stryker shows that he is indeed a veteran because he treats K-Remix to a lariat that nearly takes the champ out of his boots. Stryker keeps the pressure on via a boot to K-Remix’s mid-section and an old school ace crusher. K-Remix sees the mat up close and at a high velocity. Filth Murphy: Ace Crusher! What’s next, an abdominal stretch? Thad Balk: That is an effective hold. Filth Murphy: It’s ancient. Stryker gets K-Remix back up and shoots him into the ropes. Stryker goes for a big boot but K-Remix slides underneath it on his stomach, pops up and catches Stryker with a dropkick to the back of the head that sends Stryker over the top rope to the outside. Thad Balk: Creating space is what the champion needs to do here. Filth Murphy: Just end this. I don’t want either of these goofs as Hybrid Champion. K-Remix frames Stryker with his hands like Big Sexy used to do and then hits the opposite ropes, dashes across the ring and dives over the top rope with a tope suicida! Stryker is taken down hard and K-Remix pops up, giving Glasgow a shout out and they respond with a brief “SWAG KING SU-PREME” chant. K-Remix dabs for them and several angels lose their wings. Filth Murphy: Kill this man. Stryker gets up but K-Remix is nowhere in his line of vision. That is until K-Remix comes running along the ring barricade. K-Remix leaps off of the barrier with a splash of some kind but Stryker catches him in a bear hug and then runs forward and smashes him into the ring post. Filth Murphy: I believe I heard his spine snap. Oh happy day! Thad Balk: I don’t think his spine snapped but that definitely wasn’t good for K-Remix. Filth Murphy: But it was good for humanity. The Ringmaster gets K-Remix up and slides him back into the ring. When they are both in the ring Stryker gets K-Remix up but K-Remix breaks his grip and hits the ropes. K-Remix comes back and Stryker catches him with a spinning sidewalk slam but modifies it and drops K-Remix’s back across his knee. Thad Balk: Stryker has his target and he is honed in on it. With K-Remix down Stryker grabs him and applies a camel clutch, further targeting K-Remix’s lower back because he is what we call a fucking ring general. Stryker wrenches back with all his might and K-Remix lets out in pain. K-Remix reaches out for the ropes but he is nowhere close. Filth Murphy: I may not like Stryker but seeing K-Remix in complete agony is fucking great! Thad Balk: Why do you hate him so much? Filth Murphy: Literally describe anything about him. Thad Balk: His eyes? Filth Murphy: Well… no his eyes are pretty. Stryker could keep this hold on all goddamn day if he wanted to but he knows that he hasn’t done enough damage to K-Remix back. His health meter isn’t even in yellow yet so Stryker decides to try something new. Stryker releases the hold but drops a couple stomps on K-Remix’s lower back for good measure. This prompts K-Remix to roll over and kip up. Thad Balk: K-Remix will not take this lying down! Filth Murphy: I bet he takes it bent over. Thad Balk: Are you insinuating that he is homosexual? Filth Murphy: Yes. Thad Balk: If he were would that be a problem for you. Filth Murphy: ...no. Thad Balk: Good. K-Remix hits the ropes and runs at Stryker. Stryker throws a lariat but K-Remix ducks under it and hits the opposing ropes. K-Remix comes flying back but Stryker turns, boots him in the gut and plants him with the Definition of Mayhem! K-Remix doesn’t know what the fuck just happened and Stryker covers him. 1.. 2..! Thad Balk: We almost had a new champion. Filth Murphy: The curse almost continued. Thad Balk: Curse? Filth Murphy: No Hybrid Champion has successfully defended the title. Do you even watch the promos? K-Remix kicks out but Stryker doesn’t let up. Stryker hits K-Remix with a couple hard kicks to the lower back and then stands up him. Before Stryker can do anything K-Remix chops Stryker in the throat and then hits him with a leaping knee to the chin. K-Remix follows that up with an enziguiri that drops The Ringmaster and ho ho ho Swag King Supreme is back in this ballgame (it’s actually a wrestling match). Thad Balk: K-Remix needs to build on this momentum and quick. Filth Murphy: Yeah retard! Pretend it’s Minecraft or whatever. Stryker rolls onto his stomach and then gets up before K-Remix can truly capitalize. K-Remix charges him and Stryker throws a sloppy lariat, one that K-Remix easily evades. K-Remix catches Stryker with a dropkick to the knee and then he absolutely cracks Stryker with a spinning heel kick. Thad Balk: The champion with a picture perfect kick. Stryker is still on one knee and K-Remix almost looks impressed. K-Remix dashes and hits a springboard off of the middle rope and he catches Stryker with a moonsault that finally takes The Ringmaster down. K-Remix then spins into a mount and cracks his knuckles. Thad Balk: The champion is ready to go to work! Filth Murphy: He wasn’t ready before? Thad Balk: What do you know about work? Filth Murphy: It stinks? With Stryker mounted K-Remix begins elbowing the fuck out of The SoCal Switchblade’s face. Stryker is able to cover up at first but the onslaught becomes too much before long and K-Remix’s cardio shines through. K-Remix lands five or six really good elbows before he turns to play to the audience. Filth Murphy: Real smart there Game Boy. Play to these haggis eating losers. Stryker gets to his feet and K-Remix hits him with a knee to the mid-section. K-Remix begins to set Stryker up for Zero Chill but Stryker fights out of it. Stryker spins around in front of K-Remix but K-Remix punches him in the throat, again, and nails Stryker with Turnt AF. K-Remix quickly covers and counts along with the referee. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: Rope break! Stryker gets his foot on the bottom rope and their is an audible sigh from half the audience. The other half is stoked because they like this dude. K-Remix looks a little upset but his shit eating grin soon returns. K-Remix climbs up to the top rope and he points down at Stryker. Half of the SSE Hydro is like, “Aww yeaaah”. Filth Murphy: Well Stryker sure tried. And failed. The Ringmaster stands and K-Remix comes off of the top rope but Stryker catches him in a fireman’s carry. Stryker then plants K-Remix with the Morituri Te Salutant (Widowmaker) and K-Remix’s eyes nearly roll into the back of his skull --not in a cool way, in a dangerous way. Stryker sits right up and he has a certain look in his eyes. Thad Balk: We could be moments away from crowning a new champion. Filth Murphy: The curse is set to continue! K-Remix uses the ropes to pull himself up. When he stands he sees 235lbs. of Stryker running at him, full sprint. Stryker looks for The Stryke (Gore) but at the absolute last possible millisecond K-Remix leapfrogs over him and Stryker goes head first into the middle turnbuckle. K-Remix turns around, grabs Stryker, and plants him with Zero Chill. K-Remix covers. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner and still Elysium Pro Wrestling Hybrid Champion, “Swag King Supreme” K-Remix! “Undeniable” by Seckond Chaynce hits the speakers and K-Remix is handed that Hybrid Championship. Let’s be honest, dude look super relieved. Like he is wearing a “That was a close one.” kind of expression. Well his expression goes from that to super surprised when “Machines” by Giorgio Moroder hits the speakers. Filth Murphy: And here comes the rightful champion. Thad Balk: I’m not sure what you mean by that, she most definitely lost it. Elina Cartel walks out onto the stage and walks down the ramp. She enters the ring and K-Remix drops the championship, ready for a fight. Cartel just smiles and shakes her head. Cartel gracefully kneels down and picks up the Hybrid Championship. K-Remix does not like this. Thad Balk: That is not hers. You should not touch the title if you aren’t the champion. Filth Murphy: Oh that just an old superstition. Cartel don’t care. Cartel dusts off the title and then lays it over K-Remix’s shoulder. Cartel let’s go and K-Remix catches it before it falls. Cartel then pats K-Remix on the head before exiting the ring which leaves the champion perplexed.

In the trainer’s room we see EMTs tending to both Samantha Hamilton and F.M. Young. Don’t worry they can’t see each other, they are separated by a curtain. Completely safe. There is blood everywhere, medical staff all over the place. It’s a wild scene. Trainer: Mrs. Young you have to hold still, you need stitches in your forehead. You also need to refrain from speaking, we do not know the extent of the damage to your mouth. Young looks irate but she complies. On the other side of the curtain, Kai Atticus walks into frame, standing beside the unconscious Sam Hamilton. Kai Atticus: Hey I know you probably can’t hear me but I just wanted to be the first to say that your performance tonight was insane. Really inspiring to see a relative newcomer like you put it all on the line, especially to someone like me who debuted tonight. Really bad ass. On Young’s side of the curtain two people walk into frame. It is Sloan Young and the “God Tier” Vitoly Volkov, F.M.’s associate. They stand at F.M.’s bedside but Volkov hears something on the other side. Volkov walks over and peels the curtain back slightly to see Hamilton. Volkov looks back to Sloan and nods. Sloan Young: She needs to pay for knocking out F.M.’s teeth. She lost the title match, now she needs to lose her career. Vitoly, if you would. F.M. almost smiles but the pain in her mouth prevents it. Volkov peels back the curtain and starts tossing medical staff out of the way. Volkov approaches the unconscious Titaness but Atticus comes in between them. Kai Atticus: Hey man what the hell do you think you’re doing? Are you really about to try and attack someone who is unconscious? Vitoly Volkov: Move. Trainer: Try again buddy. You may be bigger than me but I’m not gonna stand by and let this happy. Vitoly Volkov: Suit yourself durak. Volkov goes rears back with a fist but the silence is cut by someone clearing their throat. The shot widens to show that Rick Walsh has entered the frame. Rick Walsh: Easy boys. We’ve seen enough violence concerning this issue, at least for tonight. Finale sent me here to let these ladies know that based on their performances tonight there is going to be a rematch at Cataclysm. F.M. tries to protest but can’t speak. Sloan also goes to protest but Walsh cuts her off. Rick Walsh: Don’t say a word. It’s already signed and sealed, I’m here to deliver it. The doctors tell us that both of you will be ready to go again by the time Cataclysm comes around but he wants you two to dial it back a bit, to be more cautious with your careers. At Cataclysm Sam Hamilton will once again challenge F.M. Young for the Iron Championship in a First Blood Match. Walsh then sees Atticus and Volkov. Rick Walsh: Seems like there is a problem here, eh boys? Well since neither of you have anything going on at Cataclysm why don’t you two settle your little issue there. I’ll run it by Finale to make it official but I’m sure he’ll approve. If you two touch each other before then? You’re fired. Also if anyone touches Hamilton before then, I’m holding the United Front camp responsible. Got it? Good. Walsh walks out of frame and Volkov scoffs. Volkov walks back over to the United Front side of the curtain and jerks it closed which leaves Atticus at Hamilton’s bed side.

The main event sees all six competitors come to the ring. The bell sounds and it is Miguel Villalobos and Erik Holland who start the match. Holland looks to circle Los Lobo Loco but the latter charges and clubs Holland with a forearm smash to the face. Villalobos then takes Holland over with an exploder suplex and lets out a primal howl. Holland recovers and stands. The two lock up and Villalobos push Holland toward a corner but Holland turns the momentum and tosses Villalobos in. Holland then subdues Villalobos with a big corner clothesline that drops Villalobos into a seated position. Thad Balk: This is a one on one match that I would like to witness one day. Filth Murphy: Yeah if it was under Iron Rules I bet one of them leaves in a bodybag! Holland backs away from Villalobos and then looks at SHIDO briefly. Holland snarls and then charges in at Villalobos and hits him with a running knee to the face. Holland quickly stands Villalobos up and guides him over to Kevin Moss on the apron. Holland tags in Moss and then wrenches Villalobos arm. With Villalobos doubled over Moss comes off of the middle rope with a rocker dropper! Moss may have intended on covering but Villalobos rolled over onto his stomach. Thad Balk: Smart move from Villalobos there. Make your opponent work for everything. Moss lays and applies a front chancery to Villalobos but Villalobos fights up. Villalobos hits Moss with some hard shots to the mid-section and then hits The Infinity Warrior with a big uppercut. Villalobos staggers back to his own corner and looks for a tag but Moss rushes in on him. Villalobos reacts by dropping and sending Moss face first into the middle turnbuckle pad with a drop toe hold. Villalobos tags in Ryan Gates who shoots over the top rope, turns in mid-air, and delivers a front dropkick to the back of Moss’ head. Thad Balk: My goodness that was brutal. Filth Murphy: And effective. Enigma Protocol really knows how to hurt. Gates drags Moss out of the corner and mounts him. Gates lays into the Tag Team Champion with some hard forearms to the face and then hits him with a hard kick to the side of the head. Gates climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a moonsault but Moss rolls out of the way. Gates favours his midsection but gets up to stop Moss from gaining any momentum. Gates rushes Moss but gets caught with a knee to the mid-section. Moss gets Gates in a muay thai clinch and then goes to work with some huge knees to his face. Thad Balk: A signature move from Kevin Moss. No one has been able to escape that clinch once he has applied it. Gates is being battered with knees to the face. Moss keeps Gates in the clinch and backs into his own corner. Any time Gates fights back Moss hits him with another knee to the face. Alyssa Daniels slaps Moss on the back, making the tag, and then ascends to the top rope. The audience in Scotland is behind Daniels completely. Moss hits Gates with a hard knee and releases the clinch simultaneous. Gates stands straight up and Daniels comes off of the top rope with a huge blockbuster. She hits it perfectly and she covers. Filth Murphy: Okay that was some pretty sweet teamwork. Thad Balk: That is why they are the Tag Team Champions! 1.. 2..! Gates is able to kick out but Daniels stays on him. Daniels gets Gates’ back and she drops some mounted elbows onto the back of his head but Gates bucks her off. Both get back up but Gates strikes first with the Out of the Shadows super kick that catches Daniels right on the button. Daniels drops and Gates tags in the World Champion, SHIDO. SHIDO takes his time entering the ring but when he does he stalks Daniels and positions himself between her and her corner. Holland says something to SHIDO but the champion ignores it. Daniels starts to stand and SHIDO prepares himself. Thad Balk: The World Champion is so calculated in his approach to offense. Filth Murphy: That’s why he has the gold Textbook! Smartest guy in Elysium. Thad Balk: No Murphy that is most definitely you. Filth Murphy: Aside from me. Daniels stands, turns and faces SHIDO. SHIDO charges at her, slides through her legs and hits the opposing ropes. On his return SHIDO leaps into the air and takes Daniels down with a Lou Thesz press. Once on top of Daniels, SHIDO eyes Holland for a moment and then grabs Daniels by the hair and starts hitting her with headbutt after headbutt. SHIDO lays in a half dozen of these before getting off of Daniels. SHIDO turns to the audience in Glasgow and takes a bow. Filth Murphy: Praise the Kronos of Elysium! SHIDO allows Daniels to get up and when she does he hits her with a high kick to the side of the head that staggers her. SHIDO backs her into the ropes and then whips Daniels across the ring. After rebounding Daniels takes a play out of SHIDO’s book and slides through his legs. Daniels pops up behind him but SHIDO blasts her in the jaw with a demoralizing hook kick. Daniels drops and SHIDO covers her while staring at her corner with a smirk on his face. Filth Murphy: I felt that one Textbook! It hurt! 1.. 2..! Thad Balk: Apparently it did not hurt enough! SHIDO does not look surprised, he simply gets Daniels up and whips her over to his corner. Villalobos and Gates hold Daniels in place as SHIDO runs toward her and blasts Daniels in the face with high flipping dropkick. Daniels drops to the mat but rolls out of the ring to safety. SHIDO smiles at this while both Gates and Villalobos drop off of the apron and stalk the Heart of Infinity. Moss sees this and drops off of his apron while Holland enters the ring and has his eyes set on the World Champion. Thad Balk: I think we are about to see this match break down Murphy. Filth Murphy: I hope it has AAA! Outside the ring Moss charges at Villalobos and spears him hard into the barricade. Gates gets Daniels up but she hits him with a shot to the midsection. Daniels then jumps up onto the barricade and leaps off with a superkick that catches Gates right in the face. Gates drops. In the ring SHIDO turns and sees Holland advancing toward him. SHIDO backs away and acts as if he is going to try to exit the ring but instead he throws a big spin kick that catches Holland off guard. The referee does not know what to do as the mayhem begins to escalate so he calls for the bell, making this match a no contest. Robin O’Ryan: Ladies and gentlemen this match has been ruled a no contest! None of the competitors seem to give a shit. On the outside Moss has Villalobos mounted but Cheyenne Black has taken hold of a chair. Black approaches and smashes the chair on Moss’ back. Daniels steps off the barricade again and superkicks the chair into Black’s face! Villalobos looks incensed after seeing this. Villalobos grabs the chair and smashes Daniels over the head with it. The shot is so hard and so loud that you would swear that the crowd outside the SSE Hydro could hear it. Thad Balk: Dear God that was vile. In the ring SHIDO stands over Holland but the latter has collected Gates’ noose that he uses in his entrance. Holland wraps it around his fist, pops up and smashes SHIDO in the face with his loaded fist. SHIDO staggers backward and Holland pops him again, dropping the champion. Filth Murphy: See! This is exactly what SHIDO was talking about. Holland is an evil man who does evil things. Thad Balk: That is one way to look at it. Outside the ring Villalobos has laid Daniels on the announcers table. Gates is up and he has Moss. Villalobos grabs Moss and lifts him up for a powerbomb. Thad Balk and Filth Murphy abandon their headsets and get out of the way. With assistance from Gates, Villalobos powerbombs Moss onto Daniels and it puts both of the Tag Team Champions through the announce table, obliterating it. Back in the ring Holland moves on SHIDO and looks as if he is preparing to wrap the rope around SHIDO’s throat when he is stopped by “Whatever Happened To My Rock & Roll” cuing up. Finale walks out onto the stage with a microphone and he calls someone from the back. A hoard of security rushes the ring and gets between Holland and SHIDO. Not waiting for his music to cut he begins speaking. Finale: Enough! I knew this fucking main event was going to break down into chaos, I knew it but I let it happen anyway. Why? Because I wanted to see exactly what I’m dealing with when it comes to booking Cataclysm. I wanted to see what would be appropriate for that event. Now I hired Rick Walsh to enforce most of my decisions in Elysium but the six of you deserve my personal fucking touch. I am risking my personal safety and the future of this fucking company to come out here and tell you exactly what is going to happen to you. Feel honoured. SHIDO rolls out of the ring and takes refuge on the outside, collecting his championship. Security has him completely surrounded, the same goes for Holland in the ring. Finale: Enigma Protocol, I see you. I know that you’ve wanted my attention for some fucking time and now you’ve got it. You want a shot at Infinity Revolution? Fine. You’ll have it...at Cataclysm. But do not think for one fucking second that this is me giving in to you. This is me booking something that these people want to see. That being said your title match has no stipulation, if you try any of this bullshit in Manchester then your title aspirations go out the window. Understand me? Gates and Villalobos have collected Black, all three look very pleased with the announcement. Finale: Now for you two. SHIDO, Holland. I am about ready for your shit to be finished too. You’ve given us two amazing matches but enough is enough. You have dominated the title picture for too long and one of you is about to be out of it for the foreseeable future. Holland licks his chops and we cut to SHIDO who is holding the title in nature boy fashion. Finale: The main event for Cataclysm is going to see Erik Holland challenge SHIDO for the Elysium World Championship in a Three Stages of Hell Match. Fall one is going to be a standard singles match, seeing as you two have never had one of those. Fall Two? Well since you so badly want to fucking hang each other then we’ll make that a Bullrope Match. And if we need a third fall? Well then you two motherfuckers can go all out. You can do whatever you want to each other because it is going to be Unsanctioned. That means that the ref is just there to end the match. The audience pops for the prospect of more ultraviolence. Finale: Here is the kicker though, whomever loses this match does not get to challenge for the World Championship while the winner holds the title. This will be the end of this, one way or another. Finale drops the mic and “Whatever Happened To My Rock & Roll” cues up. SHIDO and Holland trade glares as the copywrite information comes up and the first Frontline of 2018 comes to a close.
