EPISODE IXTalking Stick Resort and ArenaPhoenix, ArizonaMarch 11th, 2018 The Elysium signature plays and then we get the opening video package. An edited version of “Nomad” by Death From Above 1979 begins playing over various action shots of Elysium wrestlers. The clips are stitched together giving you a sense of the action that is on deck. Each scene is colored by a red gradient and as each move is hit it is punctuated with added graphic effects. Jake Archer drops Lexi Sheckler with he Move I Beat The World With. Alyssa Daniels sizes up Jamie Dorsey and runs at him, nailing him with Amnesia. Tiami Erickson comes at Jake Archer and blasts him with a shining wizard. Helena Handbasket hits Anthony Xavier with the Screw U! Knee. Ryleigh Mathis hits the ropes and puts K-Remix into the mat with the Magic Mirror wheelbarrow bulldog. SHIDO pulls himself up using the ropes. SHIDO then charges and breaks Banshee Muzzle hold that Vitoly Volkov has on Erik Holland by putting Volkov down with the Misfit Love sling blade! We then cut to studio shots. The first is of "The One Woman Army" F.M. Young completing a set of bench presses in the gym with the Iron Champion placed neatly on the floor beside her. Elina Cartel sits on a hill with her eyes toward the starry sky above her. Cheyenne Black sits at on a barstool with the Tag Team Titles on the bar in front of her, behind her Miguel Villalobos and Ryan Gates are wreaking having in a bloody bar fight. The final shot is that of SHIDO sitting on his throne, the World Championship in his lap. We close-up on SHIDO who smirks and then the shoot zooms out dramatically and the Frontline insignia burns onto the screen. The camera gives us a look at the raucous crowd in the Talking Stick Resort and Arena as pyro explodes on the stage, Frontline has officially begun. After panning across the sea of bodies the shot changes and shows us the voices of Elysium at ringside. Thad Balk: Ladies and gentlemen my name is "Textbook" Thaddeus Balk and I am here alongside my broadcast colleague Cyril "Filth" Murphy and we would like to welcome all of you to Elysium Pro Wrestling's Frontline. Filth Murphy: When the cat is away the mice will fuck! Thad Balk: What are you talking about Filth? Filth Murphy: I am talking about our fearless leader being in India of course. Thad Balk: That is true. Yesterday morning Elysium President Finale released this tweet... Filth Murphy: A gambling debt. Thad Balk: I believe that he has actually acquired intel as to the whereabouts of his brother, Elysium Founder Kelly Godless. As our fans know, Godless was seemingly abducted back in November when we were in Los Angeles for our Hallowed Ground event. Filth Murphy: What the hell is Godless doing in India? Thad Balk: We suspect he was abducted, like I said. Do you not pay attention to the product? Godless going missing took Finale out of the broadcast booth and that is why you are here. His disappearance gave you a job. Filth Murphy: Yeah I know. People might think that I had something to do with it! Thad Balk: I believe that whomever is responsible for Godless' disappearance would have to be skilled in deception and extremely intelligent in order to get one over on The Found. Filth Murphy: What are you saying? Thad Balk: I am saying that no one thinks you did this. But what we are doing this evening if presenting an incredible line up of wrestling action. We have three championship matches this evening with the main event being a World Championship match. The Striking Banshee Ryleigh Mathis will cash in her Carte Blanche contract when she challenges the second Elysium World Champion, SHIDO. Filth Murphy: Tonight Uprising gets humbled by The God, The Devilman, The Edge of Reality. SHIDO has been annointed as our saviour and true leader. He is not going to get bumped off by some hack like Ryleigh Mathis. Thad Balk: There were people who said something similar when Mathis challenged Elina Cartel for the Hybrid Championship. That contest ended with Mathis beating Cartel so badly that the referee needed to stop the match. Filth Murphy: Yeah that's not going to happen tonight. I am pumped for that match but I know what is going to happen so I am much more jacked up to see the start of the Summit Series! Four matches, two in each block, right here in Phoenix. Thad Balk: Correct. And just to be clear, the competitor who wins each match will receive two points, the loser will not receive any and in the event of a draw then each competitor will get one point. Filth Murphy: I don't want to wait Textbook, I want to get down to the nitty gritty. Strap in motherfuckers, Frontline is now!

Before Frontline can really get underway, cameras have been sent backstage where we hear quite a commotion going on in the dressing area. As a cameraman quickly but cautiously approaches, we see on the one side is YEAR/ZERO, Tiami Erickson and former World Champion Erik Holland, and on the other is a whole mess of referees and security people trying to keep them from entering the Enigma Protocol locker room! Erik Holland: C'mon! They wanna' fucking fight, we can fight right now! The crowd cheers hearing that, but the refs and security won’t have it as a good portion of them swarm the Badd Breed members. Holland lunges again, so does Erickson, but they're successfully held back again by the ever growing swarm of black shirts. Holland turns and faces the camera briefly while Erickson continues to struggle with security. Erik Holland: Yeah, they're fucking tough with a bunch of guys in front of 'em! Wait till we get a shot at those belts, you fucking mutants! Then we're gonna' see who's so tough! They seem to renege finally just as "God Tier" Vitoly Volkov is walking past the fracas, smirking. Vitoly Volkov: The Badd Breed failed at something. Vitoly thinks that this trend is going to continue for some time. Tiami perhaps you should cut your losses now before before your career falls into the same pit as Holland’s has. Erickson isn't in the mood for taking BS it seems, and there is no security between her and Volkov as she clatters a forearm across his face! He staggers down the hallway as Erickson pursues him, ramming him headfirst into walls, boxes and doors, kicking and punching him as she goes! The scuffle spills into a wide-open staging area with Holland pursuing the two combatants. Erickson snaps up a steel chair and wields it with malicious intent in her eyes. Volkov gets up and Erickson delivers one of the most disgusting chair shots the Elysium faithful has heard in a long time. Imagine a raw steak being dropped on a tile floor, that's basically how it sounded. Volkov goes down flat-backed and immediately starts to bleed. Erickson opens the chair and positions it right over Volkov's prone body, the legs of the chair pressing down on Volkov's throat. She sits on the chair, staring down at Volkov with intensity and hate in her eyes. Tiami Erickson: You should have never stuck your nose in this or opened your mouth little boy. This is the first of the bloodshed. Those boys call themselves champions. Time is ticking and those little punks haven't even realized we BLEED for this business. They wanna get violent, we can too. Erickson hops up immediately and folds the chair around Volkov's thick neck, giving a shout as she STOMPS down hard, crushing the chair around Volkov's throat! He is coughing and spluttering and blood is spilling out of his mouth as the security and refs finally get in between them. Holland grabs a handful of Erickson’s hair in an attempt to lead her away. The two embrace and engage in a passionate kiss before making way for the EMTs

Both Casey Grey and Tiny Des are in the ring, staring one another down. The atmosphere is very intense as these two new fighters lock eyes with one another. They finally begin circling around one another, seeing who will make the first move. Casey moves a foot forward as a feint. Tiny Des almost falls for the maneuver, but stays still when she sees her opponent not budging. Thad Balk: My research tells me that this may be one of the best double debut contests that we have or will see in Elysium. Tiny Des clicks her tongue in annoyance ... yet smirks despite such a trick being used against her. As if she were having fun. Des tilts her head which, in turn, causes Casey to follow suit. Filth Murphy: What the fuck is this about? Tiny Des quickly takes advantage of Casey being distracted and runs forward, slamming into Casey with a sternum headbutt! Thad Balk: Interesting offense from the Kansas City native. Casey's eyes widen as she coughs and steps back to regain her composure - as well as oxygen! She flashes a glare towards Des, who shrugs, as if to ask 'What? I'm just fighting, why do you care?'. Filth Murphy: These two are really taking their time to feel each other out. Thad Balk: Within the current landscape of Elysium competitors need to pick their shots. They need to be methodical because every match means something. The message is read loud and clear as Casey's own grin spreads over her face. She waits near one of the turnbuckles and makes a 'then come and get me' gesture with her right index and middle fingers. Matrix style, naturally. Filth Murphy: Are these two gonna fight or just fuck with each other? Des runs forward, attempting to take advantage of Casey's location and seemingly still dazed state and attempts to execute an Enzuigiri. At the last possible second, however, Grey counters with her own Japanese-named technique, the Gamengiri! Thad Balk: You got your wish! While Des is still reeling, Casey leans down, grabs her opponent, and slams her back down on the mat with a Powerbomb! Filth Murphy: Alright that was pretty dirty. Casey just dropped Des like third period French. Thad Balk: I think that you have used that one before. Filth Murphy: Who can remember? "Not already out of steam, are ya?" Casey taunts, using her trivia from the first promo as a pun. She circles around Tiny Des, waiting for her opponent to recover ... but decides she's too eager and impatient to wait for much longer. Filth Murphy: This chick and trains, what is that about? Thad Balk: Perhaps they inspire her? This time, when she reaches down, she's swept off her feet! Literally so, as Tiny Des swings and lands a very well-placed Soccer Kick against Grey's kneecap. Casey screams in agony, falling to her knees and, eventually, onto her back. Tiny Des goes for a cover! 1.. 2.. Kickout by Casey, using her good leg to do so. Any implications of these two playing around or being nice have officially flown out the window -- or is it stadium? Either way, these two are done playing nice, and it finally begins to show. Filth Murphy: I think that these two are done playing nice! Thad Balk: I did not know that they were playing at all. While Tiny Des is still nearby and in reach, Grey decides to use that to her advantage by swiftly reaching up and putting her in a Kimura Lock! Des knows that she can’t be in that hold for any length of time so she fights with some hard shots to the side of Grey’s head! The hold is broken and Des rushes Grey but gets blasted with a Breath Mint (Forearm Smash). Des is sent reeling back into the ropes. Des then stumbles forward right into Grey’s Racklash (Argentine Backbreaker)! Grey quickly shoots the half and hooks Des’ leg. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, Casey Grey! “Buttercup” gets her hand raised and the fans in Phoenix seem to be impressed by her debut win. “Hell Yeah” by Rev Theory plays throughout Talking Stick as Tiny Des sits up, looking furious. Grey leaves up the ramp while skipping along happily. In the ring Tiny Des stands and looks somewhat dejected. That is when the crowd parts and a figure hops the guard rail. The figure slides into the ring under the bottom rope and positions themselves behind Tiny Des. This is a hulking, physically imposing man. Thad Balk: My word. That is Elysium’s newest signee Issac Combes. Filth Murphy: This guy is huge! Tiny Des gets a hint from some people ringside and turns, standing in the shadow of the man who calls himself “The Master”. Des throws a punch but the big man is faster, he smashes Des in the face with a massive headbutt that seemingly knocks her out. Combes stares down at Des while slowly raising one fist in the air.

A rather smug-looking Titaness is sitting in her locker room. With Vitoly having been all but completely, utterly defeated, she has all the reasons in the world to be proud. Standing up, she retrieves a bottle of water from a nearby counter, undoes the cap, and downs a bit of the contents. This time around, there was no faux strong front. Her arrogance was very pure and sincere. The thought of going against a lazy, wanna-be Deadpool didn’t seem to phase her even the slightest. In fact, were it not for her sadistic smile adoring her face, anyone would have seen the earlier included hints of insult and disgust at being put against such an opponent. Samantha Hamilton: Really … who in their even somewhat right mind thinks they can join companies like this and only do the bare minimum? Her eyes roll at the thought as she taps her fingers eagerly against the half-empty bottle. ?: People think that it’s easy. SHIDO enters the frame, having heard her frustrations from around the bend. He rests his back against the wall, crossing his arms with the same, Cheshire grin that customarily remains on his face. SHIDO: Those people who think it’s easy are those who end up in the history books are a colossal failure. Those who work hard and understand the aspects of wrestling, or just competition, are the people who make companies kneel to their whim. Then, there are people like me, and hopefully one day, you. After his words, SHIDO’s hostile aura takes over his smugness, indicative of his upcoming bout with Ryleigh Mathis. SHIDO: I wish that I was facing you, rather than Mathis. Samantha lifts her head and tucks a few blonde strands of hair behind her ears first, she then bows her head politely; a habit and simultaneous ‘ground rule’ that had been enforced the moment the Titaness officially became SHIDO’s student. Samantha Hamilton: SHIDO-senpai … I doubt you simply dropped by to give me a relatively obvious answer. That had been more of a rhetorical musing than anything, though I do appreciate a more definite insight and response. When Sam hears SHIDO’s own thoughts, she looks … torn. Something in between just a bit flattered and on edge at the thought. After mulling over the concept, she slowly shakes her head from side to side. Samantha Hamilton: Unfortunately, I can’t agree with that wish. Not yet. Definitely later. Her head tilts as a thought comes to her mind. Samantha Hamilton: Are you so reluctant about your match or something? I could keep the other two members of Uprising occupied if you want. Backstage. No one would have to know. She offers a casual shrug, her own smirk widening at the thought. Samantha Hamilton: Considering you’re supposed to be in a singles match, I think that’d be fair; to keep unwanted intervention from happening. But … it’s just a suggestion; nothing more, but certainly nothing less.” SHIDO makes a disgusted face upon hearing “Uprising”, but it subsides rather quickly. SHIDO: Luckily, Finale made sure to keep them away. They’ll have a match to deal with. I think I’m free from their mullings for my match, where I’ll personally make sure that Mathis will never, ever think about stepping up to me again. His eyes widen to a startling point and his smile grows more wicked upon every thought he had about hurting Mathis. He grips his hands into tightly bound fists, where his attention on Samantha leaves entirely--well, almost. SHIDO: This is a lesson you need to learn. To decimate your enemies is one thing, to leave them in constant despair is another. He chuckles lowly to himself, before dissuading the frantic lust for destruction for the playful, smug nature he entered the room with. SHIDO: But that’s something that can be difficult to do. Everyone here is too persistent, like roaches. Noting that Uprising should be out of the equation to interfere, her thoughts then shifted to the lesson SHIDO hinted at. As … condescending as he had come off from their first training session, SHIDO did - somewhat unfortunately - tend to have valid points. And honestly, quite a few of them plus her hard work and efforts had been what helped ruin Volkov. Hopefully beyond all - or most - repair. Before she can speak out loud, however, a new pair of footfalls is heard outside the halls. Joseph: I got you your --- The moment he sees SHIDO, Joseph looks between the two, finally clearing his throat and crossing his arms over his chest. Joseph: Sorry, but why is he in your room? Sam sighs. What crappy timing. Well … this was an inevitable moment, to be somewhat fair. She’d figured Joseph would be the first to learn this out rather than anyone from the roster. Samantha Hamilton: Well, Joseph … you’ve been pestering me for some time to know who’s been tutoring me and where I’ve been going. There's your answer. SHIDO-senpai … this is the same person who’s been recording me, Joseph. Joseph, meet SHIDO-senpai. Joseph: ... Senpai? The hell’s with that? You’re not Japanese, Sam. His eyebrows furrow. If he hadn’t liked the new Samantha before, now he likes these new changes even less. SHIDO’s laugh erupts from him, the dismissive, deriding one that follows him dealing with new, meager problems. SHIDO: Yes, but I said she could, so you can hush up with that. She can use sensei if she wants, but both are respectful to the person striving to make her better. He lifts himself away from the wall, closing the gap between him and Joseph. SHIDO: Now, I can tell that you’re not as joyful of this opportunity. Do you have something to say? Despite being a few inches shorter than SHIDO, Joseph stands his ground rather well. Even more impressive considering he doesn’t go fight in any ring, Elysium’s or otherwise. Joseph: Yeah. You know what, go on and fill me in. What exactly have you been having her do, huh? Noticing the lack of a gap between the two men, Sam grips onto her lower lip, letting go after a few seconds. Samantha Hamilton: It’s not a big deal. Moreover, this was my choosing. I went to him, not vice versa. All things considered, the agreements we made are far smaller than they could have been. Joseph: So … he’s the reason you toyed around with Vitoly like you did? Samantha shrugs, nodding. Samantha Hamilton: Partly anyway, yes. You’re not trying to defend Volkov all of a sudden, are you? You were there. You saw the shit he tried to pull. Did he not deserve his punishment for literally trying to take a life? My life, I might add? Joseph suddenly feels almost literally trapped. His head quickly moves from side to side. His eyes remain on SHIDO, but his words are directed to his childhood friend. Joseph: N-No, but … seeing you fight is one thing. You may have done much more than merely that! For all we know, you sank to his levels! He tried to take your life! Well, what if you took his career away? Samantha holds her wrists behind her back, hiding that her own fists are clenching. When they move back in front of her, they’re relaxed … mostly. The knuckles are just a tad white, but only obvious if one looks for such a trait. Samantha Hamilton: If that’s really how bad I wrecked him… well, it’s not my fault the United Front chose such a weak person, is it? Now … go. Leave us. SHIDO snickers, allowing Samantha to handle the situation. SHIDO: You know, if she would have followed your way, she might not have been able to be here right now. See, people don’t care in wrestling. If she would have hesitated to exact her will, someone would take advantage of it. She came to me for assistance, seeing as I’m the champion and all. So, I’m doing my part in making sure that your friend here stays safe. Yet, like in the hotel room, that sliver of malice came off him. SHIDO: I’ll take my leave, though. I’d rather not infringe on this-- He motions between Joseph and Samantha. SHIDO: Toodles. The World Champion takes his leave, giving a small, friendly wave to his student and her friend.

The next contests our first Summit Series match of the evening in the Iron Block. Psico and Samantha Hamilton meet in the center of the ring with Psico challenging Hamilton to a test of strength. Hamilton laughs and the two engage. There is a bit of a struggle but Hamilton overpowers the luchadore. Hamilton stares into Psico’s eyes while overpowering him and then she releases him and blasts him with a hard kick to the body. Thad Balk: Ever since Cataclysm Samantha Hamilton has upped her game. Filth Murphy: Hard not to when you’re being coached by a God. Psico stumbles sideways and Hamilton hits him with another hard body kick. Psico tries to rally back but Hamilton advances and clobbers him with a clothesline. Psico is seeing stars, looking up at the lights as Hamilton approaches him and nudges him with the toe of her boot in a show of disrespect. Thad Balk: She needs to be careful not to taking Psico lightly. Filth Murphy: I am so torn in this match. Can they both win? Thad Balk: If they both get counted out they will each receive one point. Filth Murphy: Sounds great, let’s do that! Hamilton gets Psico up and grabs his mask. Hamilton begins trying to rip it at the eye hole but Psico hits her with a hard shot to the mid-section. Psico then runs across the ring and hits the ropes. With added momentum he comes running back only for Hamilton to catch Psico by the throat! Hamilton lifts Psico up and chokeslams him over the top rope! She releases him on the way down and Psico lands with a thud on the apron. Thad Balk: What impact! That’s the hard- Filth Murphy: We know Textbook. It’s the hardest part of the ring. Everyone fucking knows that. The Titaness takes her time moving through the ropes. Her expression and deliberate pace lets us know that she wants to take her time with Psico, she wants to make a statement like she did against Vitoly Volkov. Hamilton stands Psico up on the apron but Psico leaps up and plants Hamilton with a diamond cutter on the apron! Filth Murphy: I feel like that should have hurt Psico much more than The Titaness but she is down! Thad Balk: The impact on Hamilton’s neck was severe. Psico may have just found the turning point in this contest. Filth Murphy: This is such a weird matchup. Hamilton falls off of the apron to the floor and Psico starts posing and mocking the downed Titaness. Psico takes a few steps back and some of the more “edgelord” types in the audience are cheering him on. Psico acknowledges them and then runs and hits Hysteria (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) off of the apron to the floor! Filth Murphy: Holy guacamole! Thad Balk: Pardon me? Filth Murphy: Nothing. Let’s just forget that I said that okay? The referee starts counting because as stated, you can get counted out in the Summit Series. Psico definitely took some damage with that high risk move but Hamilton took eighty percent of it. Psico stands and takes a bow, while wincing. He takes hold of Hamilton and tries to get her up but her stubbornness and strength advantage puts a halt to that. Thad Balk: The Titaness will not be moved. The Titaness hits a hard elbow to Psico’s mid-section and then grabs him in a ¾ facelock. Hamilton runs forward, bringing Psico with her and literally runs up the ring steps, pushes off the ringpost, and downs Psico with shiranui on the outside. Hamilton takes a brief moment for a breather and then rolls Psico back into the ring at a count of seven. Filth Murphy: I did not expect to see that out of Hamilton. Thad Balk: It seems more like a maneuver that Psico would pull off but it was effective! In the ring Psico just keeps rolling, and rolling, and rolling until he rolls to the outside yet again on the other side of the ring. Hamilton doesn’t give him much of a reprieve as she runs to meet him. Psico pulls himself up using the barricade by the timekeeper’s position and only stands for a moment before Hamilton hits him at a full sprint with a spear through the barricade! The two competitors land in a heap, taking out the time keeper in the process. Thad Balk: My word! Garth Gilroy was just taken out with both of these competitors! Filth Murphy: Who is Garth Gilroy? Thad Balk: The timekeeper. You had lunch with him earlier today. Filth Murphy: I thought his name was Caesar Gutierrez. It takes some time but Hamilton crawls out of the rubble and stands. She takes hold of Psico and slides him into the ring but she is fast enough to prevent him from rolling out again. Hamilton positions Psico on his feet and then she lifts him up for an electric chair. Hamilton tries to set Psico for Zeus’ Wraith (One Winged Angel) but Psico delivers a hard shot to Hamilton’s left eye. She crumbles to the mat, and Psico lands on his feet. Thad Balk: What was that? Psico just tossed something out of the ring. Filth Murphy: What? I see nothing. Thanks to a close up we see that Psico used a pair of brass knuckles, he must have pulled them out of somewhere in the aftermath of the spear. Hamilton gets up to all fours and we that she is bleeding from the side of her left eye. Psico then stands across the ring and warms up his foot. Psico charges forward and looks to complete the Amnesia punt but Hamilton springs up and clotheslines the luchadore out of his boots! Thad Balk: Inside out! Looking to end the contest, the incensed Titaness gets Psico up and positions him for Atlas Shrugged (Widow’s Peak) but Psico fights out of it, turns and takes Hamilton down with a chop block to the left leg. After a few well placed stomps to Hamilton’s left leg Psico props it up on the middle rope, pushes off the bottom rope and comes down with a hard stomp to further damage it. Thad Balk: Psico with the excellent strategy here. This contest has been his coming out party. We are seeing what he can really do. Filth Murphy: He’s gay? Thad Balk: You know that is not what I meant. Filth Murphy: I’m gay, it doesn’t matter. I was a diversity hire. Thad Balk: You were a last resort hire. Filth Murphy: Aw. Psico is feeling himself now as he once again props Hamilton’s leg on the middle rope. Psico then quickly hops over the top rope and uses it to springboard from the apron onto Hamilton’s leg with a frog splash! Hamilton lets out in agony as Psico turns her over and applies a single leg Boston crab. Hamilton lets out in pain as the luchadore wrenches back with all of his might. Thad Balk: Psico could be on his way to securing two points. Hamilton is able to fight out of the hold and reach the bottom rope. Psico is forced to break the hold but as soon as The Titaness is back up to her feet he runs forward and attempts a hurricanranna but Hamilton uses his momentum to swing him up and plant him with a ring shaking diving powerbomb. Knowing that her opportunity is fleeting, Hamilton gets Psico up and plants him with Atlas Shrugged before making a cover. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, “The Titaness” Samantha Hamilton! “You’re Going Down” by Sick Puppies cues up but Hamilton crumbles to the mat. With her eye bleeding and her left leg fairly damaged she opts not to do any further damage to the latter by trying to stand.

The image fades in though blurry at first. Through the blur, however, the pink hair is unmistakable. The camera focuses for a moment. Alyssa Daniels sits in her locker room alone dressed for battle. Her fists are wrapped though the cuts on right fist don’t seem to have any extra bandaging from the cuts sustained leading up to Frontline. She pops the knuckles on her left hand, then her right. Her gaze is fixed on the floor in thought, though her eyes appear focused and determined. The image loses focus and regains as Alyssa nods her head in thought. Narration: War is never pretty... Flash! Clips begin to play in rapid succession. CUT TO - Miguel Villalobos grabs the chair and smashes Alyssa Daniels over the head with it. The sickening thus resounds throughout the SSE Hydro. CUT TO - Alyssa clenches her fists as the memory passes through her like a tidal wave. CUT TO - With assistance from Ryan Gates, Miguel Villalobos powerbombs Kevin Moss onto Daniels and it puts both of the Tag Team Champions through the announce table, obliterating it. Shards fly everywhere and some jam into the flesh of both Moss and Daniels. CUT TO - Alyssa narrows her eyes and grits her teeth in aggressive determination as she recalls the pain of the impact and the impromptu wooden acupuncture. CUT TO - Villalobos grabs Alyssa off the mat and lifts her up with an impressive deadlift German suplex! Alyssa lands with a thud and Villalobos drops to the mat beside her, getting in her face and laughing maniacally. He lifts Alyssa’s head up by her hair and has her stare at her father across the ring. Villalobos yells “Ayúdame papá.” (Help me daddy) CUT TO - Alyssa blinks, her lip involuntarily twitching into a snarl as she recalls the taunting. CUT TO - Alyssa kneels beside her downed father in the ring, glaring up the ramp at Villalobos and Gates. Narration: But wars can only be won when one side surrenders... CUT TO - Ryan Gates staggers out of the corner and Alyssa drops him with the Livewire lariat out of nowhere. Gates is rocked! CUT TO - Alyssa smirks and nods, her fists clenching and unclenching. CUT TO - Alyssa charges and hits the ropes and then comes back with a shining wizard to Miguel Villalobos’ face. Villalobos rolls backward out of the ring to regroup. CUT TO - Alyssa rolls her head, cracking her neck in the process. CUT TO - Alyssa Daniels calls out to Dublin and her family at ringside before charging and hitting a beautiful springboard moonsault onto the prone K-Remix. CUT TO - Alyssa grins in satisfaction. CUT TO - The next couple clips show in rapid succession with no time between. Springboard superkick to K-Remix! He turns as Alyssa leaps into the air, presses his head against her knee and falls backward, knocking him out. CUT TO - Alyssa breathes in deep and looks up from where she sits. CUT TO - From the top rope, Alyssa launches herself into the air. Time slows as she flips forward and extends her elbow, and speeds back up as she drives it into the heart of K-Remix. CUT TO - The Heart of Infinity exhales and smiles. Narration: War is never pretty… Alyssa Daniels stands from where she sat, her body language showing purpose and tenacity. Her eyes lock onto the camera. Alyssa Daniels: And no matter what gets thrown at me, I will never surrender! Say anything you want, knock me down if you can, and I’ll get right back up. I’m ready... For war! Alyssa presses forward as the camera loses focus again. As her blurry figure reaches the camera, the feed cuts.

F.M. Young walks to the center of the ring and offers a handshake to Jake Archer. Archer looks at it for a moment before shaking his head with a smirk and turning to the crowd. He makes sure to let them know that he is... THE BEST! THE BEST! THE BE-- Filth Murphy: The Best! And Young clobbers him in the back of the head with a vicious forearm. Filth Murphy: Fuck! Archer tumbles forward and into the rope but doesn’t have the good fortune of falling out of the ring. Instead, Young mounts the slightly smaller Archer and begins raining down fists at his skull. Archer covers up and squirms as best he can and is able to pull himself under the bottom rope. Young continues to try and land shots but the referee begins his count for her to let him go. She stands up frustrated. Thad Balk: F.M Young has held the Iron Championship for ninety eight days. Should she defend it successfully tonight she will be the longest reigning title holder in Elysium yet. Filth Murphy: Yeah but she can’t defend it against The Greatkeeper, he’s on a hot streak! The referee makes sure to remind her of the count once a competitor is in the ropes and Young responds with an aggressive, “It’s Iron Rules!!” What she didn’t know, however, was that Archer was up on the apron, leaping up, and springboarding off of the top rope. He flipped and as Young turned, he landed on her perfectly and twisted his body to send her sprawling with a beautifully acrobatic flipping hurricanrana. He quickly scurries over to her and dives on top. 1.. Filth Murphy: The Best! ..! Filth Murphy: FUCK. Young shoves Archer off and rolls to a knee. After the flip, she’s not sure where she is but knows that on her back isn’t where she wants to be. Archer charges in with a Shining Wizard that connects flush to Young’s jaw, putting her back down. He quickly makes another cover. 1.. ..! Thad Balk: Jake Archer wants to end this match as quickly as he can, which is the best strategy that we have seen used against yet. Filth Murphy: He will be Iron Champion! It is his destiny. Thad Balk: Says who? Filth Murphy: Me! It just isn’t going to be that easy to take Young down. She backs herself up to the ropes as Archer prepares for another charge. He flies in, and eats the heel of Young’s boot for supper. He staggers backward out on his feet but Young polishes that off with a vicious spear. She looks down at Archer with disdain before she covers, hooking the leg. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: It’s gonna take more than that to keep The Greatkeeper down. I like Young but her reign ends tonight. Thad Balk: It is going to take a lot for Archer to come back from this. Archer kicks out, or maybe convulses is the better descriptor, and frees himself from the pinfall attempt. Young gets to her feet and pulls Archer back up. She hooks his head under her arm and spikes his head off the mat with a DDT. With Archer down, Young sprints to the ropes and jumps, springboarding backward into a moonsault that lands perfectly onto Archer. She decides to hook the leg again. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: Heavy impact from the Iron Champion. Filth Murphy: No one can stop the hot streak! Come on Greatkeeper! And again, Archer is able to break free. She again picks Archer up but Archer is able to slip a thumb into Young’s eye out of sight of the referee. Before he can get an idea of what happened, Archer flips in the air and lands a Pele Kick to Young’s jaw, dropping her. He quickly runs to the turnbuckle and hops up to the top. He leaps off and twirls through the air like a missile while flipping at the same time, dropping a modified flying Senton onto the chest of Young. He looks ready to cover but shakes his head, remembering the previous two attempts. Filth Murphy: Finish her off G.O.A.T.! This is your moment! Archer goes to a corner and readies himself for Young to stand. Once back to her feet, he tears out of the corner spinning and looking for The Touch! but Young is able to see the move coming and ducks it. She grabs his non-striking arm and snaps him back like a rubber band into in elbow smash. He falls and rolls away, right next to the turnbuckle. Young sees her opportunity and sprints to it, leaping over Archer and lands both thighs on the ropes. She flips back, twirling her body and lands the Negasonic Warhead onto Archer. She covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: A close call for The Greatkeeper. What a fantastic match up so far. We have neglected to mention that whomever comes out with the title also gets two points toward the Summit Series! Filth Murphy: Archer is walking away with all of it. He has been here since day one and he deserves his moment in the sun! Thad Balk: It is going to take everything that he has. The referee kindly informs Young that Archer’s foot is on the bottom rope, stopping the count. Frustrated, she gets up and drags Archer away from the ropes before attempting the cover again. However, as fate would have it, Archer is able to reach up and grab Young, twisting her over into a small package. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: Slow count! This is bullshit! Thad Balk: His cadence has been consistent all match. Filth Murphy: Shut up Textbook. Thad Balk: ...pardon me? Filth Murphy: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it. I’m very emotional right now. F. M. Young escapes before the three count can be registered. Archer rolls away to regroup, having taken significant damage now. Young pulls herself to her feet and stalks Archer. Archer, however, is able to spring to his feet, springboard off the middle rope, and strike Young in the head with an Enzugiri. She staggers backward, eyes blank, which gives Archer his opening. He flips and handsprings into the air to hit The Move I Beat The World With! but unfortunately, Young recovered quicker than anticipated. With some maneuvering, she is able to catch him in mid-air, using the handspring for the pop-up, and slam him down with the Human Error Processor. She looks down as if ready to pin him but looks toward the turnbuckle and smiles. She climbs up to the top and leaps into the air. It almost feels like slow motion as she flips backward and lands on Archer with the Battery Powered Bombshell. She now decides to cover. 1.. 2.. Filth Murphy: Ahhhhhhhh FUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK! 3!! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, and still Elysium Pro Wrestling Iron Champion, “The One Woman Army” F.M. Young! “Run You” by The Qemists hits the speakers. Sloan Young comes down the ramp and enters the ring. With this victory F.M. Young has defended the Iron Championship five times, she has ensured that she is now the longest reigning title holder in Elysium thus far, and most of all she has earned two points in the Summit Series. The two celebrate this momentous victory.

There’s some tension in the air as Handsome Tony opens the door to Elina’s locker room. She storms right past him, deliberately putting her shoulder into his as she walks past him. Handsome Tony: Elina? I can’t believe you would endanger my suit with your brutish shoulder! Elina stops and does an ‘about face’ and gets right into Tony’s face. Elina Cartel: Not right now. Not… Ever again. I repaid my debt to you, yet you’re still here. Tony just smirks. Handsome Tony: You haven’t repaid anything. Our deal was binding. I get you cleared to wrestle and you, well, you’re basically my slave now. Elina grits her teeth. Elina Cartel: Now is not the time for your humor. What will it take to get you out of my life? Here and at Union? Tony laughs and shakes his head. Handsome Tony: All I have to do is make one phone call and you’re gone, ok? I’m here to help you. I can make you better. Better than you’ve ever been before. Tony gestures to something ‘far off’ and his eyes light up as if he’s looking at the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocketing into the air. Elina breathes out in frustration. Elina Cartel: Just… Stay out of my way. Handsome Tony: The only person in your way, is yourself. Elina pushes past Tony and stalks down the hallway. The camera follows her all the way up to the backstage exit before cutting to black. “Machines” by Giorgio Moroder hits as Elina Cartel steps out from the entrance and stalks her way down the ramp directly to the ring. She ignores the fans and climbs the ring steps and goes straight to the center of the ring. She pulls a mic out of her jacket pocket. The music dies down as the fans boos and jeers subside, surprisingly, there’s a dull roar of cheers for the starchild. Elina Cartel: My impromptu visit to the ring is not without reason. I’m sure you all remember my previous Hybrid Championship defense against Azurine Vebbins. Alyssa Daniels was quick to point out that the fact that I did not beat her via pinfall somehow sullied the title defense. I must say that I kicked Azurine Vebbins so hard that, not only did she fly out of the ring, but she couldn’t answer a ten count. Yes, this is what ‘not good enough’ looks like. Agreed. Elina shakes her head and takes a moment to close her eyes, trying to find calm within the madness that has become her life. Elina Cartel: Admittedly, I was not happy with the outcome of the match with Azurine Vebbins. This is why I stand before you all, right now. Azurine Vebbins vs Elina Stardust part two is right around the corner and I have a suggestion to those who ‘run’ this place. When we face again, I want Azurine in a Falls Count Anywhere match. To that, the fans cheer. Elina Cartel: And no, I’m not calling upon Vebbins to stroll out to the ring right now and confuse us all with her lack of mastery of the English language. I’m suggesting this because it’s the right thing to do--it’s the only thing to do. The fans keep cheering louder and louder, she’s a city name drop away from one hell of a crowd pop. Elina Cartel: Oh and of course, given that my suggestion is Falls Count Anywhere, I suggest that this be No Holds Barred. Elina holds the mic out to her side and drops it to the mat as ‘Machines’ hits. The camera cuts away.

The next contest of the evening sees the tag team debut of The Badd Breed’s Erik Holland and Tiami Erickson as YEAR/ZERO. The Uprising team of Madison Fitzpatrick and Liza Capernick enter first, followed by YEAR/ZERO. The bell sounds, Erickson starts the match against Capernick. Thad Balk:: The maiden voyage of YEAR/ZERO starts now. Filth Murphy: Tiami has one of the worst records in the company. Holland is an idiot for choosing her as his partner. Thad Balk:: They have held tag titles together elsewhere. Filth Murphy: So fucking what? Erickson rushes Capernick and hits her with a running knee to the mid-section. Erickson then gets behind Capernick with a reverse waist lock and takes her overhead with a high angle German suplex. Capernick hits the mat and pops back up only to walk right into a belly to belly suplex from Erickson. Thad Balk:: We have not seen Tiami Erickson in action since Cataclysm and it seems that she has taken some time to refocus. She looks excellent so far. With Capernick in tow Erickson tags in Holland. Erickson then gives Capernick a short leash before she whips her right into Holland who pops Capernick up and plants her with a Samoan drop. Erickson gets on the apron as Holland allows Capernick to crawl over and tag in Fitzpatrick. Thad Balk:: I do not know how wise it is to allow Capernick to make the tag. Filth Murphy: They are trying to prove something. A win would do the same thing but YEAR/ZERO are… y’know… dumb. Fitzpatrick enters the ring with a head of steam. Fitzpatrick runs right into a discus lariat from Holland. Holland then stands Fitzpatrick up and plants her with a press slam. Holland tags in Erickson. Holland grabs Fitzpatrick’s leg and starts a big swing. After a few rotations Erickson hits Fitzpatrick with a dropkick, completing their Vampire Motorcycle combination. Filth Murphy: I’ll admit that I don’t care who is doing it, a move called Vamprie Motorcycle is bad ass. Capernick enters the ring illegally and charges at YEAR/ZERO but Holland catches her with a kick to the mid-section and then he and Erickson plant Capernick with The Thing with Two Heads (Aided Cutter). YEAR/ZERO then turn their attention to Fitzpatrick, who they plant with The Day The World Went Away (Guerilla Warfare). Holland exits the ring and Erickson covers. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here are your winners, Erik Holland & Tiami Erickson, YEAR/ZERO! Holland and Erickson don’t even take time to celebrate as “Breathe” by The Prodigy plays. They just stomp to the back, their statement having been made.

Cheyenne Black and Ryan Gates are wandering around backstage, surprisingly they are without the company of Miguel Villalobos. Cheyenne Black: Did he say where he was going? Ryan Gates: No. Didn’t say a word. I thought he was asleep and all of a sudden he sat up, looked around, and bolted out of the locker room. Cheyenne shakes her head and throws her hands up in frustration. Cheyenne Black: Well now we have to find him before he gets himself hurt or arrested. We are in Phoenix and he is Hispanic. FUCK! He might actually be arrested already. GOD DAMN IT! Ryan Gates: I doubt anyone could actually hurt him. But you are right about being arrested. I hear ICE agents are assholes these days. Let’s keep looking for him. The pair resume their search for the missing member of the Tag Team Champions. They search through the halls, questioning any staff they come across for information. Some more forcefully than others. They even make their way into the lower parts of Talking Stick Resort where the general public aren’t allowed. Through force and threats of physical harm to staff. In their second search of the backstage area Cheyenne stops Gates and motions with her chin towards none other than Erik Holland and Tiami Erickson who are walking back to the locker rooms following their match with Uprising. The couple soon spot Cheyenne and Gates. They walk up to them, both smirking. Erik Holland: Paid you three a visit earlier. What, were you two out gettin’ your nails painted? Takin’ Miguel out for walkies? He DOES go on a tree now, right? Cheyenne scoffs and rolls her eyes. Cheyenne Black: Wolf might be an animal but he is more of a man than you. At least he can take out someone when we means to. Remember, when we put my family down and on the shelf, permanently? Tiami Erickson: Yeah, you guys did real well laying out two old veterans. Cheyenne Black: Well, we did do the same thing to your little squire K-Remix on the last Frontline. How is the little boy, by the way? Recovering nice and well in the hospital still? Hope we didn’t muss up that pretty face of his too bad. Cheyenne smirks as Gates laugh. This causes Holland to half lunge towards them but is stopped by Tiami. Tiami Erickson: Your time is coming up real soon. We have a pound of flesh to take from you for what you did to us. If Rick Walsh hadn’t threatened me with a suspension if I put my hands on anyone outside of a match tonight I would rip both of your throats out. You’re time is going to come, you had better be watching your backs. Cheyenne notices Miguel stalking up behind the members of the Badd Breed. He makes his way up behind Tiami, eerily silent in his approach. His rough voice announcing his presence and startling Tiami. Miguel Villalobos: Los lobos no se preocupan por los pensamientos de las ovejas, hermosos. Miguel leans in and gives Tiami a sniff as he pinches some of her hair between his fingers and rubs them together. Miguel Villalobos: Estamos cerca de Juárez, podría ganar mucho dinero con usted. Erik pulls Tiami away from Miguel and stands between them. Miguel just laughs and walks over to stand with Cheyenne and Gates. Erik Holland: Keep your fucking mutt on a leash before I hang him with it, bitch. This causes Miguel to do what Erik did and lunge towards the Badd Breed. He is stopped by both Gates and Cheyenne. Cheyenne Black: Not now Wolf. We watched your match with Uprising, congratulations on your victory. That was the first one for you in months Tiami. Tiami Erickson: The first of many. Consider that match a little preview of what we are going to do to you. This draws a laugh from the trio. Ryan Gates: We aren’t a couple of worthless cunts like Uprising. They are beyond a joke. No one cares that you beat the Tag Team doormat team. I’m sure you will both feel justified in a tag title shot now right? You two seem the type. Entitled fucks. Miguel Villalobos: Adiós ovejas Esté atento a los lobos. Enigma Protocol turn and walk away. Miguel continually looking over his shoulder towards Tiami. His eyes seeming to glow with a predatory light.

Azurine Vebbins and Boots Martin circle and look for the opening to strike. Vebbins holds up a finger and removes her glasses, leaning over the ropes to put them at ringside. Martin, however, isn’t keen on waiting for her and charges, driving a knee into the small of her back. She bends backward in pain and Boots uses the momentum to roll her up. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: Well that should have been it right there. Thad Balk: It will take a lot more than a cheap shot to keep The Adorkable Angel down. Filth Murphy: Hearing you say “Adorkable” is never going to sound natural. Vebbins is able to escape before Martin can steal the victory. Martin stays on the attack and mounts Vebbins, raining fists down on her face. She covers up and maneuvers, slipping out of the grasp of Martin. Martin wheels around, looking to keep momentum but finds Azurine already to her feet and gets dropped with a quick but vicious DDT. Martin’s head spikes off the mat and she rolls away, likely seeing stars. Vebbins looks down incredulously, upset by the sudden violence. Filth Murphy: Vebbins doesn’t look like she enjoyed spiking Boots. Which is dumb. Vebbins reaches down to pull Martin to her feet but this proves to be a bad decision. Martin grabs the right leg of Vebbins and hoists Vebbins over her shoulder, hitting an impactful exploder suplex! Vebbins tumbles across the mat and out of the ring. Boots gets up and looks for Vebbins but cannot see her fate. Thad Balk: I think Vebbins let her momentum carry her out of the ring so she could afford herself a reprieve. Filth Murphy: So she’s running away? Thad Balk: She is creating space. Filth Murphy: She is running away. Boots Martin deduces what happened and walks over to the ropes. Vebbins, just getting to her feets, reaches out and pulls the leg of Martin, causing her to slip and fall backward. The disorientation from the tumbling, however, keeps Vebbins from capitalizing and she staggers back and impacts the guard rail. Martin uses her new position to roll out of the ring and charge Vebbins. Martin delivers a forearm smash to a chair in the front row instead as Vebbins slides out of the way at the last second. Fortunately, so did the fan who had been occupying that chair. Thad Balk: That could have ended poorly. It is a good thing that Elysium fans know what they are getting themselves into when they come to one of our events. Filth Murphy: Yeah, they might get knocked the fuck out. Azurine Vebbins pulls Martin back into the ringside area and whips her toward the ring steps. Martin reverses it instead and Vebbins’ knees strike the stairs, sending her toppling over. Martin times it as Vebbins pulls herself to her feet and runs, leaping up onto the steps and into the air. She catches Vebbins by the neck and whips down, spiking her head off of the lightly padded floor. The referee gets up to eight on his count, causing Martin to hop up and hurry to the ring. She rolls in, then out again to reset the count, refusing to let the punishment end that easily. Thad Balk: In only her second Elysium outing Boots Martin has very impressive. Filth Murphy: I’d let her ruin my marriage! Thad Balk: You are not married. Filth Murphy: Oh yeah. I already ruined my marriage. Boots Martin peels Azurine up off the floor and rolls her into the ring. She follows her and looks down at the nearly motionless body, deciding it’s time to put the finishing touches on this one. She grabs the arms of Vebbins and pulls them up, placing her boot on the back of the head and neck of Azurine Vebbins and stomps down. A few things happen at this point: Vebbins rips her arms free and ducks her head to roll instead of smash. In the process of the roll, Vebbins is able to grasp the stomping foot of Martin and sends her falling face-first into the mat. Vebbins then hooks the leg as she rolls and stops in a half Boston Crab. Thad Balk: Azurine Vebbins is looking for the submission victory. That would land her two points in the Summit Series. Boots Martin winces in pain but begins to fight. She starts to crawl toward the ropes but Vebbins walks back to the center of the ring. Unfortunately for her, Martin’s foot slips out of her grasp. Boots Martin is able to quickly get to her feet before Vebbins can turn around. Martin wraps her arms around the waist of Vebbins and hoists her over with a German Suplex. She bridges. Thad Balk: Boots Martin is exceptionally smooth. She capitalizes on even the smallest mistake on the part of her opponent. Filth Murphy: Perhaps talent IS sexually trasmitted. Thad Balk: I will thank you to cease with these comments. I may not like her attitude but Boots Martin is a gifted athlete and what has occured in her personal life is of no relevance in this contest. Enough. Filth Murphy: Okay okay cool it, yeesh. 1.. 2.. ..! Vebbins is able to twist and escape the pinning predicament. Martin gets to her feet as Vebbins tries to pull herself up using the ropes. Martin approaches and begins to land brutal kicks to the midsection and back of Vebbins. Vebbins tries to block but she has very little luck. Boots Martin lands a right cross to Vebbins’ jaw and she tumbles out of the ring through the top and second rope and to the floor. Filth Murphy: She is running away! Again! Thad Balk: I do not think she had a choice in the matter on this occasion. Martin watches Vebbins pull herself up and hits the opposite ropes. She rebounds and flies through the ropes intending to take Vebbins’ head off with a kick. Vebbins is able to avoid and dropkick Martin’s midsection as she passes by, sending her slamming into the barricade. Vebbins, still holding her midsection in pain after Boots lit her up, is able to peel Martin off of the mat and roll her into the ring. Thad Balk: This is Vebbins’ opportunity to turn this match around. Vebbins follows her in and looks down at Martin. She reaches down and grabs her by the hair, peeling her off the canvas. Vebbins slips behind her and wraps her arms up in preparation for the Pearly Gatekeeper. Martin, however, breaks free and kicks Vebbins in the jaw like a lightning strike! Azurine Vebbins staggers for a moment dazed before falling face-first onto the mat. Boots Martin grabs the arms of Vebbins, pulling her off the mat. She then stomps down, bouncing Vebbins’ skull off the mat with the Welcome to Eight Mile. Still in pain from striking the barricade, she struggles but is able to roll Vebbins over onto her back for the cover. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, Boots Martin! “Tear You Apart” by She Wants Revenge plays throughout the Talking Stick Resort. “Born To Kill” Boots Martin has her hand raised by the official and with her other hand she holds up two fingers, indicating the amount of points that she just secured.

Casey walks through the back of the Talking Stick Resort Arena. She walks around a corner and rips open a case of bottled water. She takes one out, opens it, and downs at least half in one pull. Bon Klassen: Casey Grey? Casey looks over her shoulder and wipes her mouth on the back of her arm before turning around. Casey Grey: Yeah. That’s me. What do you want? Bon Klassen: Hello, I’m Bon Klassen and I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions about your match tonight? Casey Grey: Yeah! Absolutely, ask me anything you want! Bon Klassen: How does it feel to score your first victory in Elysium? Casey pinches Bon’s cheek and shakes it, like one would do with a baby. Casey uses goo-goo talk and Bon Klassen tries to pull away. Casey Grey: You are so cute. It feels great, Bonnie! Bon pulls the mic away from her. Bon Klassen: Please don’t call me Bonnie. Casey grabs his arm and pulls the microphone back to her mouth. Casey Grey: I mean, I knew it would happen because I always win, but having a win in my first match is just a taste of my ability. There’s more where that came from and I don’t have no problem lettin’ everyone have a taste! Bon Klassen: Ms. Grey, I feel like I have to put it out there that this is just one match. Casey Grey: I know! But it’s like they said in ‘The Hobbit’ or something. The greatest journey starts with a single step, and my journey to the top started tonight! I mean I can see myself gettin' the Iron Championship... Casey looks at the camera. Casey Grey: But not from F.M. Young. She’s my buddy and I wouldn’t beat her up just for a belt! I’ll wait till she loses it. Bon Klassen: She may never lose it- Casey Grey: Nonsense, Bonnie! Grey always comes up eventually and if you’re not always betting on Grey then you lose when it does! Haven’t you ever played roulette? Bon Klassen: Grey isn’t actually on a roulette wheel. Casey Grey: I know that, Bonnie. But the principle is the same. Bon Klassen: Again, please- Casey Grey: Oh, relax, Bonnie. After I get the Iron title I’m going to move up to the Hybrid title and then the World title! Casey shrugs. Casey Grey: But I think that’s enough talk for now. You like to talk, Bonnie? Because you sure do talk a lot! Casey walks away from the interview with Bon Klassen. Bon turns to the camera and shakes his head. Bon Klassen: This girl is gonna make somebody have a stroke. Casey takes a sip from her water bottle, and near the dressing room a man walks up. He is carrying a small box wrapped with a black bow. He looks nervous or, maybe, scared. Delivery Guy: Um, excuse me. Uh, Ms. Casey...Grey? The man looks back up from the package he is carrying. Casey Grey: Yeah. That's me. What’s up? You want an autograph or something? If you do I’m going to need a pen, not a lot of pockets on this wrestling outfit. Not a lot of anything, actually! Delivery Guy: No thanks. Look, I'm sorry to bother you but I have this box. I was told to give it to you tonight after the event but the hell with that, I’m not keeping it any longer. I was given a picture of you so that I could recognize you and that's about it. Casey looks at the man and then the small box he is carrying. Casey Grey: All right. Hand it over. The man hands off the package with what seems to be just a little too much eagerness. Casey opens it as the man turns to walk away. She looks back up at him. Casey Grey: Hey! What the hell is this? Who gave this to you? Delivery Man: Please, ma'am, I just want to- Casey Grey: Who! Delivery Man: I... I don't know. I swear. I got a box on my doorstep addressed to me from Las Vegas. I opened the box and that was inside. There was a letter, folded up and with a typed-up message and a picture. It said to deliver that box to you, here. I work for the venue. I’m a lighting technician. I don't know how they found that out but they did and they know almost everything about me now, I can feel it! I don't know who sent you that but I don't want anything to do with that box ma'am. I don't want to know who sent it, I don't want to know what's inside it. It is YOUR problem. I have a wife and two kids...I just...want this thing out of my life! Casey Grey: Okay. Okay. That’s fine. I'm sorry if I upset you. Delivery Man: Do you think- Casey Grey: No. No, don't worry about it. Just someone playing games. You're fine. Just go back to work, okay? I’m pretty sure you’re not even supposed to be back here around the dressing rooms. You’ve done what you were asked to do. Casey watches him walk away and looks back into the box, reaching inside. She pulls out a short branch with leaves attached, nearly a foot long. It looks as if it was broken, crudely, from whatever tree it came from. She returns it to the box and removes a long black feather. Casey Grey: What. The hell. Is this?

The entrances happen and Elina Cartel hands her Hybrid Championship to the referee. He shows it to Alyssa Daniels and she nods. The referee calls for the bell and the two competitors come to the center of the ring. There is a subdued exchange of words for a brief moment before the two lock up. Daniels applies an arm wrench that doubles Cartel over. Thad Balk: There is a massive rivalry brewing here. No matter who wins I feel like this is just the first chapter in a long book between these two. Filth Murphy: You’re an asshole. Thad Balk: Pardon me? Filth Murphy: You know I can’t read. You’re being insensitive. Thad Balk: ...my apologies. Cartel plants her right hand on the mat and uses that as a base to front flip, land on her feet and reverse the arm wrench. Cartel goes for a kick to Daniels’ face but Daniels spins around and applies a reverse waist lock. Cartel tosses a left elbow back but Daniel moves just in time. Cartel tosses a right elbow back but Daniels moves again. Thad Balk: They are still feeling each other out. This might be the most even match up that Elysium has ever seen. Filth Murphy: Yeah but there needs to be a winner. This is pro wrestling and one of them may have to start fighting dirty. Thad Balk: I feel that there is too much respect between them for that to happen. The Heart of Infinity lifts Cartel up for a German suplex but Cartel shifts her weight forward and comes down with a victory roll into a pin. Daniels gets loose before a one count and then springs back to her feet where she puts her shoulder into Cartel’s mid-section and drives her into a corner. Cartel drops an elbow onto the back of Daniels’ head which sends the challenger reeling backward. Thad Balk: Elina Cartel could land a crushing blow right now that would give her the momentum. Filth Murphy: Yeah but why would she risk it this early? Thad Balk: It would need to happen sooner or later. Cartel hoists herself up onto the top rope and looks for a missile dropkick but Daniels is quick enough to swat it away. Cartel is quickly back up to her feet but Daniels is already rushing her. Cartel is able to catch Daniels with a high kick to the ring side of the head but Daniels answers in kind with one of her own. Desperate to capture the momentum the two competitors lock up. Thad Balk: I do not want to overstate the point but these two are so evenly matched. Daniels is able to force Cartel down into a side headlock but Cartel shoves her off into the ropes. Following Daniels’ rebound off of the ropes Cartel leap frogs over her. Daniels hits the opposing ropes and comes back, this time Cartel drops to her stomach but Daniels does jump over her. Daniels jumps in the air and looks for a double stomp to Cartel’s back but the champion rolls out of the way just in time. Filth Murphy: Nice one Elina! She thought she had you and she was wrong. Thad Balk: It is almost like they are reading eachother’s mind. Filth Murphy: Well Elina can do that being a space empress and all. Cartel stands back up but in a Spider-Manesque pose. Cartel eyes the challenger with a cold gaze that begins to melt with a smirk from the champion. Cartel mockingly claps for Daniels and motions for her to try again. The two lock up and this time it’s Cartel who forces Daniels down into a side headlock. Daniels looks to lift Cartel up for a back suplex but Cartel hits a stiff shot to Daniels’ nose. Thad Balk: That halted that maneuver. Filth Murphy: Hit another one Elina! Break her sniffer! The champion is able to break Daniels’ grip and she catches her a flurry of Martial arts kicks. Daniels tries to cover up but Cartel is punishing her body with brutal strikes. Cartel shoots Daniels into the ropes and on Daniels’ return Daniels goes for a clothesline but Cartel slips behind her and stands straight up. Cartel playfully smacks Daniels in the back of the head and then shoves her from behind as if this is a playground. Thad Balk: After that impressive opening exchange it seems that Cartel is trying to frustrate Daniels. Filth Murphy: Of course she is! She knows that if Aly gets mad then she is gonna make a mistake. Then Cartel can march out of Phoenix with her title and two Summit Series points. Daniels turns back to Cartel with fire in her eyes but takes a moment to compose herself. Cartel just laughs and this causes Daniels to rush in on her. Daniels looks for a running forearm smash but Cartel ducks under it and slaps Daniels in the back of the head again. The Heart of Infinity then turns and goes for another lock up but Cartel slips behind her and puts Daniels face down on the mat with an amateur takedown. Thad Balk: Back to basics for The Inquiring Mind. Filth Murphy: She just took Daniels down with some day one ish. She is mocking her! Cartel mounts Daniels and puts her knee on the back of the challenger’s neck, keeping her in place. Cartel then looks up at the ceiling, the stars and lets out a satisfied exhale. Daniels bucks the champion off and the two come face to face. Daniels mutters something like “I know what you’re doing.” and Cartel looks at her with a “Who me?” expression. Thad Balk: The mind games have truly begun. Cartel invites Daniels to take a free shot, closing her eyes. Instead Daniels shoots behind her and looks for a reverse neckbreaker but Cartel grabs the top rope and Daniels lands on her back. Daniels gets up to a knee and Cartel flies at her with a shining wizard that nearly sends The Heart of Infinity’s head into the front row. Cartel shoots the half and hooks Daniels’ leg. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: The champion retains! A near fall for the champion but Daniels is able to kick out. Knowing that she has the upperhand, Cartel keeps Daniels subdued with some big mat stomps. Cartel then dashes across the ring and pushes off the middle rope with a springboard moonsault but Daniels moves out of the way! Cartel lands on her feet but Daniels is too fast, she cracks Cartel with a Pele kick! Cartel staggers backward and Daniels is able to put her down with a slingblade! Daniels covers. Thad Balk: Alyssa Daniels could be on her way to a singles title and two points! 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: No points for you! This time it’s Cartel who barely kicks out. Daniels keeps the pressure on by mounting the champion, hitting her with a rights and lefts. Ground and pound. Cartel bucks her off and gets back to her feet but Daniels flies at her with a European uppercut! Cartel hits the corner and then staggers out, walking right into a spinning heel kick! Cartel is rocked when Daniels pushes off of the middle rope with a springboard and clobbers the champion with a flying lariat! Cartel hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. Thad Balk: Intelligent move from Elina Cartel. She can not be pinned outside the ring. Not wasting any time Daniels runs and flies over the top rope with a tope con hilo! She comes crashing down on Cartel and then quickly slides the champion back into the ring. Cartel is laying on her back when Daniels shoots into the ring with a springboard and comes crashing down on top of the champion with an elbow drop. All of the wind is knocked out of Cartel as Daniels covers. Thad Balk: We have a new Hybrid Champion! 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: No we still have the only Hybrid Champion. Thad Balk: She did lose it for a short while. Filth Murphy: I don’t count that period of time. Cartel kicks out and is immediately on her heels, retreating to a corner. Daniels rushes in with a head of steam but Cartel leaps up and cracks Daniels in the head with an enziguiri. It’s seemingly now or never as Cartel climbs to the top rope. Daniels sees it coming so she runs, leaps up to the top rope and pulls backward taking Cartel all of the way down to the mat with a one person Spanish fly! They hit the mat with a thud but Cartel rolls over onto her stomach. Thad Balk: This is it! If Alyssa Daniels can make the cover. Filth Murphy: Come on Textbook, Cartel rolled onto her stomach because she knows exactly what she is doing. It’s going to take more than that to take her title. Thad Balk: I stand corrected. You are right. Daniels knows that Cartel is not going to stay down for a three count. Daniels gets the champion up and applies a front face lock but Cartel fights out with some big body shots. Once the hold is broken Cartel dashes and looks for a springboard leg lariat but Daniels ducks underneath it. Daniels then leaps into the air and cracks Cartel in the jaw with a Superman punch! The champion crumbles to the mat and Daniels covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: How many near falls are we going to get in this contest? Filth Murphy: I’m thinking...many. Cartel is able to kick out again and we can see the frustration growing in Daniels’ eyes. Daniels gets Cartel up and shoots her into the ropes. On the return Cartel gets behind Daniels and attempts to roll her up but Daniels rolls backward, stands and cracks Cartel in the side of the head with a buzzsaw kick. Daniels then steps back and smashes Cartel in the face with a springboard superkick! Cartel is down again and Daniels covers. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: What does Alyssa Daniels have to do to keep Elina Cartel down? Filth Murphy: Could shoot her. Thad Balk: Come on. Filth Murphy: This is the United States! Everyone shoots everyone. The air is sucked out of the Talking Stick Arena as Cartel kicks out. Daniels pushes her hair out of her face and looks extremely frustrated. She shakes it off and puts some space between herself and the champion. Daniels lines Cartel up and all of Phoenix is standing behind her. Cartel stands and Daniels runs in looking for the Amnesia (Codebreaker) but Cartel hangs on, turns, sits Daniels on the top rope and then slaps the shit out of her. Thad Balk: Elina Cartel has given herself the break she needs. Filth Murphy: In the form of slapping the piss out of The Heart of Infinity. Cartel exits the ring and climbs up to the top rope. Cartel takes a moment to set this up but when she does she has Daniels’ head positioned between her legs on the top rope. Cartel then falls backward and drives Daniels head into the mat with a top rope piledriver! There is a collective gasp from the fans in attendance as Daniels’ neck could be broken. Feeling confident, Cartel covers. Thad Balk: My word! 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: How? How on Earth did Alyssa Daniels kick out of a top rope piledriver? The tenacity of this young lady is staggering. Daniels kicks out at the very last second and for the first time we see a look of disbelief on the champion’s face. Cartel needs a moment to compose herself. Cartel then stands and when Daniels is able to get up Cartel readies herself for the Eclipse (540 Gyro Crescent Kick). Cartel uncorks the move but Daniels moves out of the way just in time. Daniels smashes Cartel with a roaring elbow to the back of the head and then puts her on the mat with a school girl. Filth Murphy: No! Elina! Kick out! 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: Yet another near fall. We could be here all night Murphy. Filth Murphy: Let’s hope not, I’m meeting a dude from Grindr later. Thad Balk: Is that a skateboarding app? Filth Murphy: ...yes. Cartel kicks out and gets right back up where she meets Daniels with a running knee to the face. Daniels falls backward, hits the ropes and then smashes Cartel in the face with a knee of her own. Cartel falls backward, hits the ropes and looks to come back with a hurricanranna but Daniels hoists her up for a powerbomb. Cartel spins around on Daniels’ shoulders and then takes her down with an Okada roll. 1.. 2.. ..! Filth Murphy: This is just getting fucking ridiculous now. Daniels kicks out again and the fans in Phoenix are on their feet for The Heart of Infinity. Chants rise up throughout the arena for her and they seem to work because when the two get back up Daniels charges and blasts Cartel with Amnesia (Codebreaker)! The champion is down and Daniels scrambles into a cover. 1.. 2.. ..! Thad Balk: What is it going to take for us to get a winner? This is what the Hybrid Division is about, this is what the Summit Series is about, this is what Elysium is about. We are seeing an instant classic right now Murphy. Filth Murphy: Fight forever? They just fucking might. And the literal last possible moment Cartel is able to get her foot on the bottom rope. Daniels thinks that she has the match won as Cartel slips to the outside to recover. The referee and Daniels have a brief conversation where he tells her that it’s not over. Daniels then turns and sees Cartel on the outside. Daniels dashes and hits the opposing ropes. Thad Balk: This is going to be feast or famine for Alyssa Daniels. Daniels flies across the ring and throws herself through the ropes with a suicide dive but Cartel leaps up and cracks her with a kick to the side of the head. Both women are down on the outside as the referee begins a ten count. The audience is trying to will Daniels on but Cartel is the first to stir. Cartel pulls herself up using the apron and Daniels follows suit. Thad Balk: What a shame this would be if it ends in a count out but a win is a win. You get points no matter how you achieve victory. Filth Murphy: Get in the ring Elina! Another count out win! A win is a win! The two competitors are trying to get back into the ring. Cartel is the first to stand on the apron and when she does she repeatedly stomps on Daniels’ hand. Cartel then falls through the ropes out of exhaustion but she is back in the ring. At a count of eight Daniels is still down on the outside but at 9.5 Daniels slides into the ring. Thad Balk: Barely. Just barely. Alyssa Daniels will not die. She wants to prove to everyone that she is the shining light in this company and I think she is going to do it right here in Phoenix. Cartel looks to unleash the Eclipse again but Daniels blocks it and goes for a leg sweep. Cartel jumps over it and cracks Daniels with a hard martial arts strike to the face, then body kicks, then a spinning back fist, then a flurry of kicks to each knee. Cartel then finishes the mega combo off with the Supernova (Wind-up overhead kick). Daniels drops and the champion falls on top of her. 1.. 2.. ..3! Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner, and still Elysium Pro Wrestling Hybrid Champion, “The Inquiring Mind” Elina Cartel! "Machines" by Giorgio Moroder plays and the fans do not boo. They are silent. The referee hands the championship to Elina Cartel but she remains on the mat, staring at Daniels. It takes some time but Cartel eventually stands, waiting for her opponent to do the same. Thad Balk: What an incredible match. We just saw what not only the Summit Series but the Hybrid Championship means to both of these competitors. This was a star making performance. Filth Murphy: Holy fuck. Thad Balk: Indeed. Daniels sits up and she looks extremely upset. Cartel just watches her, title in hand. Daniels looks back at the champion and then gets to her feet. The audience is silent as Cartel slowly walks toward the challenger, their eyes are locked. Filth Murphy: Finish her off Elina! Smack her again! The two stand face to face and Cartel extends her hand. Daniels looks around and Phoenix gives a mixed reaction. After a brief moment of tension, Daniels accepts it. The two women shake hands and Phoenix erupts with a standing ovation. Cartel gives Daniels a nod and then leaves the ring, leaving Daniels to soak in the adulation from the audience.

In the backstage interview area we see intrepid interviewer Yuki Kita standing in the center of the frame. The shot then pulls out and we see that she is standing with Elysium Executive Assistant “The American” Rick Walsh. Yuki Kita: Ladies and gentlemen I am here with Elysium’s acting authority Rick Walsh. Mr. Walsh, what can you tell us about Finale’s sudden trip to India. Rick Walsh: Very little. I know that he got some information regardin’ Kelly Godless’ disappearance. It’s been four months since we seen or heard anything from Godless, Finale had to follow up. Yuki Kita: Do you know exactly where he is going? Rick Walsh: He needed to go see someone involved with Union Battleground and that’s all I know. Our World Champion SHIDO is competing against their World Champion Nemesis at their event so I’d wager that has somethin’ to do with it. Yuki Kita: But SHIDO is wrestling here tonight. How can he be in Phoenix and India at the same time? Rick Walsh: Don’t be smart little lady, you know that this episode of Frontline will air on Sunday but is a taped episode. We did it specifically so SHIDO could go to India. Yuki Kita: Of course, I just wanted to clarify for our fans… Before Kita can finish her thought, another figure walks into the frame. The person is looking sore and angry but they point an accusatory finger in Walsh’s face. Jake Archer: I’ve got a message for you buddy. If Finale doesn’t come back then I am going to campaign to the board that they put me in charge. You aren’t my boss. Rick Walsh: You huh? Why in the hell would the board put a punk like you in charge. I mean I get that yer career isn’t doin’ so hot, especially after that tough loss tonight, but you wouldn’t make a great leader either. Jake Archer: Who do you think you are? I’ve been in Elysium since day one hombre. I’ve been on every single show and seeing as how he isn’t here tonight, not even Finale can say that! You aren’t my boss and you never will be. I am going to become the authority around here. It’s gonna happen. Wanna know why? Rick Walsh: Please tell me. Jake Archer: Because I’m… THE BEST! THE BEST! THE BEST! Archer gets in Walsh’s face, even though The American towers over The Greatkeeper. Jake Archer: I’m gonna be watching you pal. With that Archer spins and struts out of frame leaving Walsh shaking his head.

A hush falls over the arena as Ryleigh Mathis makes her entrance without Madison Fizpatrick or Liza Capernick by her side. Mathis reaches the ring and hands the referee her Carte Blanche contract. SHIDO then makes his elaborate entrance and once he enters the ring he hands the referee his World Championship title and he does not take his eyes off of his challenger. Thad Balk: That is a cold look from The Edge of Reality. The bell sounds and while it is still ringing out SHIDO explodes out of the gate, unusual for him. Mathis must have expected something different because she is completely caught off guard when SHIDO hits her square in the jaw with a running big boot. Mathis is sent reeling back into the ropes but SHIDO is quickly on top of her where he turns her inside out with a short arm lariat. Thad Balk: When Uprising attacked SHIDO at the last Frontline, dare I say, he looked vulnerable. Filth Murphy: A God is never vulnerable...but they did put a hurting on him. The World Champion slides behind Mathis and as the latter gets to her feet SHIDO pops up behind her, spins her into an about face and then grabs the back of her hair. Mathis lets out in pain, SHIDO staring deeply into her eyes. The champion pulls back and then hits Mathis with a brutal headbutt. It is entirely bone on bone impact as SHIDO does this four more times. Thad Balk: SHIDO is using this contest to remind everyone that he is the best wrestler in Elysium. Filth Murphy: Well he is the World Champion so duh. Mathis’ legs give out and she drops to a knee, SHIDO still hanging on to her hair. His gaze is cold as he takes a step back and then drives his knee right into Mathis’ face. The Striking Banshee’s eyes roll back into her head and she finds herself facing up at the lights, but the look in her eyes tell us that no one is home. SHIDO looks to advance but the referee gets in between the two competitors in order to check on the challenger. Thad Balk: Things are not looking good for Ryleigh Mathis in the early going here. Filth Murphy: This is what happens when you step to a fucking God! You get smited. Smited in the worst way. The referee asks Mathis if she can continue and she responds not with words but by rolling onto her side. Mathis then stands and staggers forward, catching herself on the top rope. Mathis shakes off her daze and turns to charge at SHIDO but he is right there, again. SHIDO catches her with a jumping high roundhouse kick. Mathis staggers sideways and the inhumanly quick champion spins and drops her with a hook kick. Mathis collapses against the ropes and finds herself seated. Thad Balk: The referee needs to keep a close eye on Mathis, she has taken some brutal strikes. Mathis pulls herself up using the ropes and once again the champion is in her face. He holds her head up by the hair for a fleeting moment before he winds up and hits her with a knife edge chop. Mathis takes a few steps forward, clutching her chest. SHIDO does not let her get far, he puts one hand on her shoulder and turns her to face him where he rips another hard chop. SHIDO lands one more hard chop before he pushes off the second rope with a springboard and catches the challenger in the face with a springboard knee strike. Thad Balk: Ryleigh Mathis needs to find a way to land some offense. Filth Murphy: The title is completely out of her reach now. She just needs to try and survive. Thad Balk: I cannot disagree, she seems completely outmatched. SHIDO keeps his distance as he watches Mathis take refuge in the corner. The champion observes the challenger who seems almost drunk from all of the hard strikes. Mathis holds herself up in the corner and only sees SHIDO for a moment, as he charges toward her at a breakneck speed. SHIDO leaps and hits her like a bullet with a running corner dropkick. He then puts her down with a leg sweep before using the ropes to hit her with an impressive slingshot corner dropkick. Thad Balk: The referee needs to really think about Ryleigh Mathis’ physical well being. No one wants a World Championship match to end my referee stoppage but Mathis can not seem to defend herself. The referee moves in to check on Mathis again but SHIDO stands in between them. SHIDO gets Mathis up and she is able to muster a quick forearm shot that sends SHIDO reeling backward. Seeing this as her opportunity to shift the momentum Mathis charges forward looking for a running forearm but SHIDO easily evades it and gets behind the challenger. Filth Murphy: You know it’s a shame that Uprising is banned from ringside. They could throw in the towel for Mathis! Ha! Thad Balk: Normally I would disagree but Ryleigh Mathis is risking her future right now. SHIDO is a dangerous man and she is at his mercy right now. Filth Murphy: A dangerous God. SHIDO pulls Mathis’ head backward by the hair and then lifts her up and over with a big release dragon suplex. Mathis lands right on her stomach but uses the momentum to stand back up, clutching at her stomach. SHIDO turns and rushes her, he lifts her up and hits her with Cadence and Cascade (Pop Up Knee Strike). Mathis looks to be out cold and before SHIDO can advance the referee moves in and warns SHIDO to stand down. Thad Balk: This could be it Murphy. The referee may have no choice but to call this contest. Filth Murphy: Good! I may be an asshole but I don’t want to see a live murder. Mathis shoves the referee away and gets up to one knee but SHIDO charges in yet again and hits her with a sliding lariat. Mathis has enough sense left to roll to the outside for a breather. She knows that she can’t stay in the same place for long so she stands and tries to put some space between herself and the champion but SHIDO runs and dives through the ropes, taking Mathis down with a suicide dive. SHIDO then takes hold of her and places her back into the ring. Thad Balk: It needs to end in the ring, let us hope that SHIDO is going to do just that. Filth Murphy: This is a demonstration of why you do not fuck with our World Champion. Thad Balk: It is a demonstration in sheer punishment. SHIDO gets Mathis up and Irish whips her across the ring. Mathis hits the ropes, rebounds, and walks right into a flapjack which SHIDO turns in mid-air so that Mathis lands throat first across the top rope. Mathis stumbles backward clutching her throat and SHIDO again turns her inside out with a short arm lariat. Thad Balk: I am asking that Rick Walsh or someone with some authority come out and end this contest. Ryleigh Mathis clearly can not continue. Filth Murphy: She thinks that she can! Thad Balk: She is likely very concussed. The Edge of Reality approaches the downed challenger and grabs her by the back of the head. SHIDO stares deeply into Mathis’ eyes. The champion’s cold gaze meets Mathis’ glazed expression. SHIDO then begins viciously hitting Mathis with headbutt after brutal headbutt. One of the half dozen headbutts busts Mathis’ nose open and the referee has no choice but to get in between them and call for the bell. Robin O’Ryan: Here is your winner via referee stoppage, and still Elysium Pro Wrestling World Champion, “The Edge of Reality” SHIDO! “The Man Who Stole The World” by Midge Ure plays and a second referee enters the ring to check on Mathis. The primary referee hands SHIDO his World Championship and SHIDO takes it in his hands. SHIDO then approaches Mathis and literally kicks her out of the ring, despite the referees’ protests. Filth Murphy: This is his ring. SHIDO is the Elysium World Champion and he just reminded every fan we have of why. That was an absolute beat down. Thad Balk: A dominant performance from the World Champion. Ryleigh Mathis is going to have to go back to the drawing board. Filth Murphy: Yeah. If she ever wakes up. SHIDO stands in the center of the ring with the World Championship in his hands. He does not hold it up, he does not pose or physically pander to the masses of Phoenix. He just stands before them as the king of the mountain, the ace, the Elysium World Champion.
