I would like to thank everyone for their hard work in putting together our first show. I want to use this thread to let you all know about some things that are coming up as well as other little notes.
FRONTLINE + iPPVs
- I have decided that our schedule will be biweekly. I believe that a twelve day promo cycle and a two day turnaround is optimal for our success going forward.
- iPPVs will be bimonthly. That means that we will get six a year and they will feel much more special.
- I think that every other episode of Frontline will be like a mini iPPV with many title matches.
- Results for Frontline will be much more condensed than for iPPVs. I simply do not have the time to be writing full length matches every two weeks. It is very difficult to write that many compelling matches, that often.
- Currently I am not looking for match writers. I am still crafting the feel of the federation and I don't trust anyone else with that responsibility just yet.
CHARACTERS
- Promos for this show were excellent. It was a very tough event to judge and I commend you all on your efforts.
- That being said, anyone who wants personal feedback from me should feel free to PM or DM me. Some have already done so and I believe that I have replied with constructive criticism and honesty.
- In terms of crafting storylines, that is my favourite thing to do. I find that it is best done as a collaboration so if you have an idea of where you would like your character to go then again just drop me a line and I will do my utmost to help you achieve your vision.
OTHER
- I have added a feedback board for those who wish to use it.
- Two new championships will be revealed on the first episode of Frontline. For everyone not in the main event, your efforts this week will determine whether or not you are considered to be an initial contender for said championships.
- I'd love to see more activity on the OOC boards. Federations are the best when we have built a solid community. Get to know each other, initiate discussion and so on. Yes this is a competitive game but it is the most fulfilling when you play within a great community.
That's all I have for the moment so if you have any questions, comments, or concerns then either post in this thread or drop me a line. Thanks everyone.
Cheers.
