Last week didn't go as Madison planned. She was hoping to walk out of Toronto with her first singles win in Elysium. She did take Deus a little lightly but she also gave him more than he bargained for. After the show went off the air, Madison found out she was placed in a six person match to determine the first EPW Iron Champion. At first, she had no clue what the championship was until she read up on it. Her first thought was it meant she was doomed to be lowest form in the company until her business partner told her about the championship was viewed.
The scene opens inside a gym in Downtown Boston where Madison is hard at work preparing for the match at hand. Her focus is to become the first Iron Champion but she also has that douchebag in the back of her mind. The fact Frontline is being held in Boston isn't even going to play a factor.
"Talk about a blessing in the face of defeat. After I had lost to that douchebag, I was certain the next time I would be facing some jobber as a sympathetic gesture but when I heard about being one of six competitors to have a shot at becoming the first Iron champion I couldn't believe my own ears. Who would have thought losing one match would qualify me to be in a championship match? Now that I have this golden opportunity, you had better believe that I'm going to do everything within my own power to be the last person standing,"
Madison is standing in front of the mirror as Ryleigh is holding a camera up. She walks around as Madison begins to stretch her arms.
"One thing I don't get is how Seth Gile is even in this match. I mean what has he done to earn this chance to be champion. What did he pay off some bookie to get included? Did he threaten to leave if he didn't get added? It's no matter because I have a feeling mister Once in a lifetime is going to find out that I'm not just some easy target. I plan on sending him and everyone else back to the locker room with their insides just flooding the arena. I don't care if I have to bash every skull in just to be the one who survives this match,"
Madison pauses again while reaching behind her and grabbing her right ankle.
"Anthony Xavier and FM Young both are extremely gifted in ring competitors and I view them as the only real threat I have in this match. FM has an MMA background and Anthony is probably one of the best young grapplers in this company. However they both lack the experience level. Their skills are impressive but being impressive doesn't mean you are going to walk away as a future champion in this company. The three of us are evenly matched but I have more big match experience than you. I know it's going to take every ounce of blood and sweat just to survive. At the end of the day, you will be joining Seth as the ones who are sent packing,"
Ryleigh moves around while positioning herself in front of Madison.
"What about the other guy?"
She asks as Madison chuckles under her breath.
"I'm not even worried about him because he'll probably get lost heading towards the ring. He isn't impressive and his skills aren't anything that screams I'm a threat. He is going to be just another body that will get tossed around like a rag doll that I probably won't even have to break a sweat over him. This Frontline is my night and I aim to make everyone realize that Madison Fitzpatrick is the next Iron Champion."
Madison finishes her stretching as the scene begins to fade.

The scene opens to Seth Gile in the gym working on his leg with some leg presses when he turns to see the person standing there filming him
Seth: Could you not?
But Seth, it's your promo, you know, for the Iron Championship match?
Seth: Oh yea! That's a thing!
Seth ends his session then turns to show his calfs
Seth: Look at those babies, better than anyone I'm going against, what's their names again?
Well there's F.M. Young!
Seth: Useless!
Madison Fitzpatrick?
Seth: Loser who loses!
Rafa Whatley!
Seth: That can't be real?! I don't believe you! I think you're lying about that! That cannot be a real name!
The man filming pulls out a piece of paper with the match card on it, Seth grabs the paper in disbelief
Seth: My god are people SO unoriginal that they can't even think of real names? This is why I'll be the first Iron champion and all of these other people will stay losers and unoriginal! Show me the last guy! Something about magicians I think?
Anthony Xa-
Seth puts his hand over his eyes and starts laughing heavily then wipes away a fake tear
What's so funny?
Seth: I don't think anyone cares! This guy bores me just from his name! What's with EPW paring me up with losers who bore me with unoriginal names who are useless to society? I am the greatest pro wrestler and associated myself with the world champion! What more do you want!? It's a win win! Give me opponents worth a damn and you'll get a profitable Iron champion in me...well you'll get that anyways! Haha!
Did you see Fitzpatricks video?
Seth: Who? No I didn't see a video on Mick Jagger? What kind of person are you?
No, Fitzpatrick's video
Seth looks at the filming gentleman with a dumbfounded look
Seth: WHY! In the blue hell do you think I have time for videos on Phillip being sick? Don't even know anyone named Phillip! Who do you think I am?
No! Madison Fitzpatrick's video promo!
Seth: Oh! Yea, I did, regretted wasting my time on that, super boring! Barely mentioned me! All she said was some wrong information about me losing or some other false thing about me! What does she thinks she's talking about? Winning? You! The only thing you're winning is a trip to the unemployment line! So! That's all you losers deserve to hear from me! Until my win! I salute you, farewell!
A finger shoots across the lens and the world goes dark on Seth Gile's awfully egotistical smile

It's a blistery day in Boston as Madison is standing just outside of the arena where Frontline 2 is being held. Her orange hair is blowing in the wind as Ryleigh is holding her phone in her hands. Madison looks at her friend while waiting for the signal.
"Are we rolling?" asks Madison.
Ryleigh gives her a head nod as Madison takes a deep breath.
"In roughly 72 hours, the place behind me will be jammed pack with wrestling fans from all over the Northeast. Not that I care about them or anything. The same time frame is how long I have to hear from my opponents who actually matter. Oh, did I bruise your inflated ego Seth? Were you expecting me to spend my entire time talking about a self centered schmuck like you? I heard what you said and I have to say you were UNORIGINAL with every fucking bit of it,"
Madison pauses while moving towards a lamp post. She leans against while smirking.
"I really don't think you understand the meaning behind the word original. Because if ya did then you know buddying up towards the champ is not so original. The fact you need a monicker isn't even original. Since when is my last name a factor into who wins huh. I lost last time but I don't plan on losing this week. There are four other talents who are more of a threat than you Seth. Hell, Animal from the Muppets would make for a better opponent. At least, he understands that I'm not someone you really want to piss off,"
Madison stops to look at the traffic.
"Damn, the traffic is really backed up. I'm wondering if that's the reason for the silence from everyone. Have they been caught in traffic or are they afraid of getting their asses kicked? I really don't want to hear another bullshit rant brought on by Seth Gile. I mean the guy had nothing real to say. He just sounded like some tool who got stood up on Prom Night. The guy is a complete waste of space and will be the first to be eliminated. Why doesn't FM speak? I'm sure she can speak with some intelligence. Although I'm not sure if she is ready to get into a fight with an actual fighter. Maybe she could knock Seth out cold then see who is better.
Anthony does have skill in the technical sense but I think he is limited in his choices. I have better skills and I know how far I can go in that ring. People think that I'm just a pushover but rest assured. I am still going to prove everyone wrong,"
Madison looks over her shoulder as people are leaving the arena.
"The Iron championship is what this match is about. It's about who can last through all the odds just to be declared champion. According to Seth, he should be gifted the championship but I think differently. I think his punk arse is going to get his bloody head bludgeon to the point his own papi won't e'en recognize him. I didn't come to Elysium to just be a stepping stone. Oh no, I came to stomp arseholes into the ground. That Iron belt will be mine even if I have to walk through a potato field filled with land mines. This match is about surviving and that's what I aim to do. I aim to survive like my life depended on it,"
Madison smirks before walking out of focus.

Seth appears on screen in a Badd Breed shirt and a black baseball cap
WAR
Seth: It's what the Breed taught me to overcome, I want glory and I will take it from those nobodies!
The camera gets closer to Seth
Seth: Only one of my opponents have answered me, and it was in piss-poor fashion, my god! I didn't think someone could be SO basic during a promo but here you are Madison....ahhh least you bothered, I guess, that the most these fan's want to see out of you, they like you somewhat because you unsuccessfully try, I on the other hand is hated because I'm better than everyone here, except my Breed brother! Madison, this is your shot, and I know for a fact that you're going to blow it, I know!
Seth rubs his beard and adjust his hat
Seth: You say I am unoriginal and I ask, how? I walk, talk, and act like me, I have the ego of a god like myself! Not one person here is like me, so, where are you getting your claim of unoriginality? You are some basic loser wannabe Seth Gile! You try and try and try so hard to be this bad ass chick but, alas, no dice. You are the unoriginal one! You are the one that's going to lose! YOU are the one who will be!
Seth makes a motion of cocking a machine gun and shooting it
Seth: SHOT DOWN! Shot down by the best guy here! Shot down by your NEW ANNNNND FIRST EPW Iron Champion! And there's not a dam thing you can do about it! The gold goes to the Badd!
Seth laughs as the screen goes dark

Boston Logan Airport. Anthony Xavier is carrying a big duffel bag with him. It seems like just got off his flight, but as soon as he sees the Elysium camera crew, he runs towards them and almost immediately starts talking.
Xavier: Well, hi there! Once again, it's me, Anthony Xavier. This is probably a really weird place to do a segment, but you're probably used to it, huh? As you can see, I just got off a plane from waaaay out West, but if I have to do a segment, believe me, I'm always ready. So, what about you? I'm sure y'all must be excited to be here in Boston, and you're not alone, I COULD NOT WAIT to come back to another episode of Frontline. Two weeks ago, you an excellent wrestling show indeed, but this time, you're gonna see an even better one. I mean, not only there will be a World Championship match, but two more championships will make their debut in some pretty big matches, yours truly being involved in one of them. So, let's get down to business, huh? Come with me.
Xavier and the camera crew start walking around the airport.
Xavier: Last time I was in an Elysium ring, things didn't work out that well for me. Even though I think I did pretty good, at the end that didn't matter 'cause I failed to win my debut match. Now I have a second opportunity to prove why I am as good as I say I am. This Sunday, I'll be facing off against four other competitors, in the first ever War of Attrition match! And the winner will become the first Elysium Iron Champion. And believe me, I couldn't be more excited! YEAH!
Anthony gets hyped up and yells, maybe a bit too loudly, only to stop at the sight of an old lady giving him a look of disapproval.
Xavier: Ouch... That was cold... Well, as I was saying... Y'know? It's a huge privilege to become an inaugural champion. Your name will forever be attached to that championship's history. A championship is as big as the person holding it. That's a fact. It doesn't matter if some people call it a 'tertiary' championship, this Sunday, I'm gonna get inside that ring and I'm gonna fight for it like it's the most important thing in this company. And after I win, and it's bound to happen, I'm gonna defend that title on every single show, and I'm give you my 100% every single time. This is my first title opportunity and trust me, I'm not gonna let this one go.
Xavier looks down for a few seconds.
Xavier: Last week, I made a few mistakes. Even though I planned and came up with a ton of scenarios based on the way the match could work out, in the end, a little mistake took me out of that ring, and I failed to win. In the worst way possible, too, I wasn't pinned, but I was also unable to stop the pin. So, y'know, the thought keeps going 'round my head. What if I would've done it this, or that way, but I can't go back in time... Yet! So the best thing I can do is to take advantage of the opportunities I'll get from now on, and that means that no mistakes will be allowed.
As they approach the airport exit, Xavier suddenly stops.
Xavier: Let's stop here for a while. I'm not done yet, ha-ha. I've taken my fair share of time to do research on my opponents. From the Pearl of the Ulster, you have Madison Fitzpatrick. From the big town in the DFW, not that far from where I started doing this, Rafa Whatley. All the way from the Land of the GOAT, mister Once in a Lifetime, Seth Gile. And you have someone I've faced in the past too, miss F.M. Young, from the 48th. They're a very... heterogenous... (Uhhh... cameradude, that... sounded alright?)
Cameraman: Uhhh... Nope. Not really.
Anthony's index finger taps his chin, as he thinks of a less... ambiguous (is that a word or nah?) term.
Xavier: Well, diverse, I guess! A very diverse group of wrestlers, some of them very experienced, some of them not so much. Some of them happen to be gigantic athletes, while some happen to be very agile and quick. Some of them seem to be very kind and likeable people, and some of them happen to be... like Seth Gile, I guess. Anyways, with a group so diverse that means that I had to watch a ton of matches to... perceive the potential weaknesses on every single one of 'em, but this time, for better or for worse, I won't mention them. They're top secret stuff, ha-ha. Maybe I made a mistake by giving out my secrets last week, but considering this is an elimination match, my planning is going to be completely different this time.
Anthony rubs his chin once again, as he tries to come up with something.
Xavier: To... read an opponent? you have to understand what they depend on, and by that I mean you or'ta know the way they do certain things inside the ring. Their stance, the way they do certain moves. Those few things kinda give things away, y'know? And a guy like me, doing this for years, doesn't look at those things and thinks: 'Oh, that's a quirk right there', no if I see something... askew, you know that the first thing on my mind is: 'That's an opening'. Eventually, you find out what are their weakest links and eventually you go back to the key element: targetting. Well, even though I could give you a huuuge leasson on how that works, I'm gonna let y'all think that through, I'll see you in a while. Bye!
Anthony walks towards the revolving door, only to get stuck there for a few seconds.
Xavier: Really, I hope that's not on tape!

Post by F.M. Young on Oct 6, 2017 18:48:52 GMT -8
The scene opens with a close up on F.M. Young's face, the camera then pans back to reveal that the big woman is hanging upside down from a suspension system in front of a large rock wall. The Amazon gives a wave with a grin.
FM:“Just in case anyone was wondering. I can hang upside down too. Look, I'm not going to sugar coat things, the truth is I lost. I know, it's a sin in this industry to admit when you lost, whenever you do, it's always someone else's fault. I lost and that's all on me, but along the way. I impressed the right people, and for that I made into this war of attrition. The thing that nobody believes though, is that I am the one woman army. This war was made for me and I will be the first Iron champion.”
FM rights herself with a quick twist of the rope and drops to the ground, dusting her arms off and grabbing a towel which she uses too wipe her face off.
FM:“I've kept quiet, because I'm not a talker, I'm a fighter. I only need the one time to tell my story and do it well. Beyond going out there and wrecking face, I don't need words to warn anyone of that outcome. You want talk, all of you expect it and I adore my fans and I respect everyone and thank those who believe in me. So words, you shall get. The other people in this match with me like to talk, Seth Gile can't shut up. Words, words, words, dude hasn't even had his first match yet and he's going on and on about winning and the breed.....The fuck is the breed? I know it's supposed to be some sort of stable, but prove it. What have any of you done? Oh that's right, you busy riding our current champions coattails. You just keep doing that buddy, I'll get back to that. What I do know, Mr. Clean, is that should give your pal the Champ a big kiss for getting this bone thrown to you.”
FM takes a drink from a water bottle that gets handed to her. Slowly as she talks she starts to pull her harness off and fix her wrist tape.
FM:“Anthony Xavier is a smart man, he has to be fully aware that no one believes he has a chance in hell. A submission magician has to be able to goddamn teleport in this match to win. I think the guy is good, but not that good. That makes him dangerous, you've all given that man a bone to cut his teeth on, I can't say if his skill will live up to it. The motivation, I can imagine isn't a problem for him right now. I know that I've had him dead to rights before and I will do it again. Rafa Whatley? The foot ball player who got caught cheating and turned to wrestling? Not a concern, he's absolutely right about one thing and that's, that he should have stuck to football. I'm not worried about it.”
Young, now devested of her work out gear sits down on a nearby bench and drapes her arms over the bar, her foot tapping as she watches Sloan follow her with the phone camera.
FM: “Madison Fitzpatrick is the woman to worry about in this match and she's probably fully aware of that. In fact she is, she wants that championship. A woman with survival on her mind? That's a woman whose like kin to me. I know exactly how that feels, Madison, I'm bringing the fight to you. We both want this victory, but I have everything to prove and nothing to lose. You think you're an actual fighter and believe you me, for your sake, I hope your right. Because the one thing I know about myself beyond a shadow of a doubt is that I'm a fighter. Frankly, I'm looking forward to seeing whose better.”
FM stands up now, playing with the towel around her neck and bouncing from foot to foot.
FM: “I know exactly how bad I need this championship. I know exactly what demons I have to erase and I'll address that on my personal little streaming channel, now's not the time. No, right now, I'm announcing my intentions. I will only be Iron Champion for five matches. A match every show. Just five, because once I've done that. Ashe Corvin, Elina Cartel, whichever one of you ends up with that Hybrid title. I want you to worry about me because after five shows, I will be Hybrid champion. I won't stop, I'm looking to take on Chuckles the goat beard's best friend. Our champion, Erik Holland. Provided, of course, he doesn't lose. Then I'd have to break Sarah Lacklan and I have to say she's rather pretty. I'll regret that, but it won't stop me. See my opponents, to them this championship is their break, it means they stay in the game. Me? It's just the start of my redemption arc. it's the beginning of my journey. I have to win because I'm not staying the Elysium Iron Champion. I'm going to become world champion. That's not my plan, it's my mission, I don't just have to survive this match. I know that and I don't plan on failing. A God will not have his work made manifest by cowards and Kelly Godless is going to learn that the One Woman Army is no coward. I will see you all Sunday.”
With that FM gives a slight nod a little wave. Sloan turned the camera on herself as FM walked around her away from view.
Sloan: “If anyone wants to know more, they can check the blog write up I'm posting later. Otherwise, I think that handles it, everything the Amazon wants to say on the matter.”
Sloan chuckles and says goodbye to some fans across the stream before turning the camera off, making the stream icon dark.

Anthony Xavier is sitting on the floor of his hotel room, talking on the phone.
Xavier: Alright? Sure, I'll be home them, we won't miss the show... Yeah, it's been a while... Right, honey, talk to you later, alright? Love ya. Bye.
Anthony hangs up and puts his phone down.
Xavier: Yeah, you're gonna have ta' get used to me doing these bits in very strange locations! Now, as I was saying earlier in the airport... This is gonna be a pretty interesting encounter. You know, it just sounds soooo epic! Iron Championship, yeah! Five-way-match, yeah! War of Attrition match! It sounds pretty fun! Oh, that name! War of Attrition, huh? Let's think about that for a second. Well, the concept of 'war of attrition' is very interesting by itself. It's essentially some sort of strategy, if you will, based on the capacity to stop or hinder an enemy by putting a strain on their abilities. Now, how does this apply to a wrestling match? Considering there are five sides involved in this 'war', one's job must be to survive, and to survive you must impart the most amount of damage while recieving the least.
As he tries to explain this, the camera focuses on what's behind him: four folders, each of them marked with the name of one of his opponents.
Xavier: Now, the best piece of advice for such a match would be to step back, I reckon. There are a lot of animosities between the people involved in this match, so it would be... Much wiser to put myself in a position in which I can take advantage of what's happening! That doesn't mean I'll try to back down from a fight, though. But it does mean I must be careful to choose the fights I'll get involved in. Stamina and agility will be key in this match. Maybe if you're too big, you'd be too much of a target. If you try to flip a bit too much, you'd be exposing yourself to a big attack. If you can be able to control yourself in the match, you can win. Use your brain to wrestle, it gives much better results than just going 'all heart.'.
Xavier smiles and points to his head. He shrugs and quickly goes back to talking.
Xavier: I kinda have to mention it 'cause this one does give me a lot of opportunities to make some marginal gains, as I call 'em. As I said, a lot of animosities will be involved in this match. Considering how many people in this roster behave, it doesn't shock me, though. Seth Gile, Elina Cartel, DEUS, Madison Fitzpatrick... You name 'em, most of the people on the show tend to work that way. Everyone's acting up like they run the show, 'Oh, I'm so good, huh-huh, everyone else sucks, huh-huh' you see 'em all just goin' around with their chest all puffed out. Getting, if you ask me, a lil' too big for their britches. I mean, that's just what I think. I'm not necessarily a fan of people doing trash talk, I happen to like to work in silence... And let my success make the noise.
Anthony laughs for just a few seconds.
Xavier: I mean, y'all saw the other segments, I guess. Same old, same old. Everyone tries to act so different, but what they say is soooo alike. It makes me laugh. The idea of just doing a segment insulting, well, trying to insult every single one of your opponents is as old as Father Time's grandpappy. As I said, I don't like to get involved in such things. A lot of fighting and trash talk goin' on, like a bunch deer clashing antlers. Trying to get inside my head by making fun of me... That dog won't hunt, if you need to know. Inside a wrestling ring, I try to use no mind games or stuff like that. Might be a lil' bit ol' fashioned buuut, might be boring like some people have said, but when it comes to my skills, I like to keep a cool head and work my way to victory. Do what I said, use the concept of attrition to slowly bring everyone else to their breaking point. Using a strategy can make all the difference in the world.
Xavier looks at his phone for a few seconds, as he runs his fingers through his hair.
Xavier: Uhhh... It's gonna be a hard match? Of course it's gonn' be. Unlike everyone else, I can't bring myself to talk down on anyone I'll face. Particularly when it comes to their skills. I mean, if you've made it to a company like Elysium, I'm more than sure that you've got what it takes to be a star inside that ring. I'm not gonna do what people have done to me for the last eight years, trying to undermine me for being too small or too inexperienced, according to 'em. If you're in this company, it's 'cause you're pretty darn talented. It just happens to be my job to prove to everyone else that I'm more talented than you! Ha-ha!
Anthony smirks and finally gets up.
Xavier: That was funny, but I guess the last thing I'm gonn' say is that my intentions are clear. I'm convinced that my skills will be more than good enough to allow me to win, the strategy is definitely there, I'm sure the good fans of Elysium will support me, it's up to me to prove that I'm up to the task. That I can survive such a grueling match. That I can be the first Iron Champion. That I can make such a title be seen as a threat, as something more than just valuable. Come Sunday, I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure that I leave Boston, Massachusetts as your new Elysium Iron Champion. And then, I'll give you all I've got to defend that title. See y'all then.

Video by King Entertainment posted to KingPromotions.com. Reposted to Elysium Pro Wrestling VIA Fan reupload. FM: "Your recording again aren't you, my girl?" Sloan: "It just looked like you might have more to say after watching Anthony's promos, Habibi and I'd rather you get everything off your chest that's all."The big woman shrugs and stands up, wrapping her arms around Sloan to tuck the smaller woman beneath her chin. Sloan extends an arm and points the camera at both of their faces. FM: "I made a promo video already, between that and the blog post. I feel like I've said all I need to say, more won't convince anyone that those aren't empty threats."
Sloan: "You're a hell of a wrestler, I just wish you'd fight harder for yourself. Just because you don't have a crazy gimmick, believe you're a vampire from the moon or some satanic ghost doesn't mean you're an empty threat."FM shakes her head, running a finger down the curve of Sloan's nose fondly with a small smile. FM:"Those are different people."Sloan: "Huh?"FM:"The chick who think's she's a vampire and the chick who think's she's from the moon. Their two different people."After a moment an exasperated Sloan smacks a hand against FM's shoulder. Sloan:"You know what I meant, stop avoiding the subject."FM: "What's to say? I fight for myself with everything I have. I just do it in the ring, and nobody is going to know that until the match starts."FM kisses Sloan's cheek and picks her up suddenly, causing the camera to spin in view and finally recenter on Sloan in FM's arms a few moments later. FM:"How about we talk about something a lot more pleasant than match politics."Sloan:"You do not make it easy to be a manager, my heart. Fine, but you know you've got a cheerleader in me and I'm not afraid to let everyone know how much I believe in you." FM: "I know, in the end, your words and my skill are going to be what people think of."FM's hand comes up and covers the camera before the speakers turn off. FM: "You can post this where ever the hell you want to later dollface."The video ends with the sound of Sloan squeaking in mock outrage as the speakers cut off.
