Chapter II - October 15th, 2018 [Results]

The first match of the evening is a double debut contest. The crowd doesn’t seem particularly fond of either man. LeVine starts the contest with some big kicks, trying to knot up Morgan’s thighs. Morgan tries to answer but LeVine is too fast. LeVine drops Morgan with one high kick to the side of the head which drops Morgan.

“Marcus LeVine is an interesting competitor. He sees himself as the warden of hell.” Balk says.

“This guy has two jobs? How does he find the time?” Murphy responds. “That’s super impressive, Textbook.”

Morgan tries to rally back but LeVine hits him with an enziguiri that sends Morgan back into the corner. LeVine traps Morgan in the corner and hits him with a series of knees to the face. Morgan stumbles out of the corner and drops to his knees. LeVine nails Morgan with his Phoenix Rising spinning heel kick to the back of the head.

“Those kicks are fucked. This guy should register his legs as lethal weapons man. Holy shit.” Murphy says.

Morgan gets back to his feet but all of those kicks have seriously muddled his offense. Morgan throws a wild hail mary punch but LeVine catches his arm and pulls him into a Kimura Lock. It’s not long before Morgan taps out.


Following the match, Cassie Sykes enters the ring and with LeVine they gesture to the back. A group of white clad druids descend down the ramp, each wearing a black skull mask. Sykes kicks Morgan under the bottom rope and the druids take Morgan and carry him off to the back. LeVine and Sykes stand tall in the ring before we cut.

The next match sees DEIMOS make his haunting entrance and the audience in Toronto does not give him a warm welcome at all. Hamilton comes out next to a much better reception. The two stand in the middle of the ring and receive their instructions from the official. The bell sounds and Hamilton smashes DEIMOS with a clothesline. DEIMOS eats it and Hamilton hits him with another. DEIMOS eats that one. Hamilton hits him with one more and DEIMOS goes down.

“That is impressive considering that there is a 128lbs weight difference between them. Hamilton is not going to be able to utilize many of her power moves tonight.” Balk says.

“Eh I dunno. She’s kind of a freak, I could see it.” Murphy adds.

DEIMOS gets right back up and he’s not happy. Hamilton rushes DEIMOS but the latter catches her, lifts her up and plants her into the mat with a running powerslam. Hamilton retreats to a corner where DEIMOS lays into her with some mudhole stomps.

Hamilton pulls herself up in the corner as DEIMOS comes rushing in looking for a body avalanche but Hamilton moves out of the way and DEIMOS eats the corner. Hamilton back tracks to put some space between herself and DEIMOS and then runs in with a spear to his lower back. DEIMOS drops to a knee and Hamilton repeatedly smashes his face into the middle turnbuckle.

“These two have history Textbook. This aggression from The Titaness doesn’t really surprise me.” Murphy says.

“They have never met in Elysium and that is all that matters in my opinion. What people have done outside of our walls has no relevance in The Last Kingdom.” Balk says.

Hamilton wrenches DEIMOS’ arm and then ascends to the top rope. Hamilton walks on the top rope and comes off with the chop, completing her Fall of Man. DEIMOS gets right back up out of instinct but Hamilton locks in Exiled To Tartarus, a sleeper hold designed to wear the opponent down. DEIMOS is able to break Hamilton’s grip and flip her forward over the top rope to the outside.

DEIMOS exits the ring and stalks Hamilton but Hamilton puts the steel steps between herself and DEIMOS. DEIMOS advances and Hamilton boots the steps into DEIMOS’ knees. Hamilton then grabs DEIMOS and slides him back into the ring.

“A win here tonight would put Hamilton back onto the proper path…” Balk says.

“The path to...Salvation?” Murphy says.

“Quite the opposite.” Balk replies.

Hamilton hits DEIMOS with a kick to the mid-section which doubles him over. Hamilton goes for Wrath of the Titans but DEIMOS lifts her up and plants her with an Alabama slam. Hamilton stumbles back to her feet, favouring her back and DEIMOS grabs her by the throat. DEIMOS lifts Hamilton up for a chokeslam but Hamilton fights out of it and runs in front of DEIMOS to his him with a lightning quick shiranui! Hamilton covers but only for a two count.

The Titaness sees her opportunity and she gets DEIMOS up. Hamilton spins DEIMOS around and sets him up for Atlas Shrugged but DEIMOS throws some elbows to the side of Hamilton’s head, grabs her arm and ripcords her right into a lariat that turns her inside out, the Blood Omen. DEIMOS covers and gets the three count.

The next match sees the return of the Tag Team Titles to Elysium. The team of Azurine Vebbins and Talia Areano make their way to the ring, together under the tandem name of Paradise Tango. Both Vebbins and Areano look as focussed as we’ve ever seen them.

The lights dim and the most hated team in Elysium history are out next. The Tag Team Champions, Enigma Protocol are led to the ring by their new manager Isabella Villalobos. The champions enter the ring and toss their titles at the referee. The bell sounds and it looks like Ryan Gates will start the match against Talia Areano.

“Despite their nearly ten month reign as champions, this will be the first title defense for Enigma Protocol.” Balk remarks.

“Yeah well the company would have had to be open for them to defend the titles. Give em a break Textbook.” Murphy says.

Areano runs right at Gates and avoids a clothesline from him only to springboard off of the ropes and take him down with a flying arm drag. Gates gets up to his knees and Areano is able to smash him with a shining wizard. Gates gets right back up but Areano smashes him with a roundhouse kick.

Vebbins gets tagged in as Areano applies an arm wrench and then shoots Gates into Vebbins who is able to take Gates down with a massive tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Vebbins covers but only gets a two count. Vebbins gets Gates up and looks for a bulldog but Gates sends her flying forward into his corner. Gates runs in with a basement dropkick to Vebbins’ face.

“This is exactly where Azurine Vebbins does not want to be. She needs to get out of the Enigma Protocol corner and fast.” Balk says.

Gates can’t keep Vebbins in the corner, she crawls through his legs, springs up and dives where she tags in Areano. Gates turns to try and stop it but Areano springboards into the ring with a spear that takes Gates down! Areano covers but only gets a two count.

Gates gets up to a seated position but Areano slides in with the Rush Hour sliding forearm smash to the face. Areano covers again but only gets a two count. Areano then climbs to the top rope and looks for the Solar Shower double foot stomp but Gates leaps and catches Areano with a knee to the chin.

After dragging Areano over to his corner Gates is finally able to take in the vicious animal that is Miguel Villalobos. Villalobos tosses Areano overhead with a release German suplex, and then another, and then a third. Instead of covering, Villalobos looks to his partner and shoots Areano into the ropes. On her return both members of Enigma Protocol put her down with their version of the 3D, Schrodinger's Cat. Villalobos covers but only gets a two count.

“I don’t get why people don’t absolutely love Enigma Protocol. These guys are a bad ass team that does whatever it takes to win.” Murphy says.

“People do not like them because they have no honor. They are wild animals with no code.” Balk replies.

Villalobos holds Areano’s head up by her hair and shows it to Vebbins. Villalobos then drags his thumb across Areano’s throat and stands her up. Villalobos lifts Areano up by the neck and drops her with Ay Dios Mio! Areano is down and Villalobos covers. He gets a two count but Areano kicks out!

Villalobos doesn’t look deterred. Los Lobo Loco gets Areano up and sets her up for Dias de Los Muertos but Areano is able to drop out of it. Areano dives forward and tags in Vebbins. Vebbins enters the ring with a springboard double axe handle that sends Villalobos back into his corner. Gates hits the blind tag and enters the ring but walks right into the Sweetheart Sock Hop from Vebbins out of nowhere! Vebbins covers and Gates his his foot on the bottom rope but the referee counts anyway. Vebbins gets the three count!


The referee goes to hand the titles to Areano and Vebbins but holds his ear, he’s getting some information. The referee takes a moment and then calls off his ruling and motions that he is restarting the match.

“This has to be heartbreaking for Paradise Tango but Gates foot was on the bottom rope. It would not have been a clean win for this new team.” Balk says.

Gates comes out of nowhere with a sick kick that sends Vebbins back into her corner. Areano tags herself in and hops into the ring where Gates takes her over with a t-bone suplex. Gates nails Vebbins with a superkick that takes her off of the apron.

“Vebbins landed like a sack of dogshit on the outside.” Murphy says.

“What does that even mean.” Balk asks.

“With a plop, y’know?” Murphy says.

Gates drags Areano over to the Enigma Protocol corner and tags in Villalobos. Villalobos enters the ring and sets Areano up for the vertebreaker as Gates ascends to the top rope. Gates leaps off with a double stomp and they complete The Paradox Solution. Villalobos covers and Vebbins tries to enter the ring to break it up but Isabella holds on to her legs, out of view of the referee. Villalobos gets the three count.

The next contest saw Elina Cartel make her usual entrance accompanied by the unique sounds of “Machines”. Cartel enters the ring and looks a little concerned but only slightly so. Her music stops and then the shot falls back onto the ramp and SHIDO walks out onto the stage. No music. No specific lighting. No entrance video. Just SHIDO.

“We are used to a bit more of a production when it comes to SHIDO.” Balk says.

“I think losing his title broke him. Broke him good.” Murphy adds.

SHIDO sluggishly walks down the ramp and walks up the ring steps. From the apron he looks across the ring at Cartel before letting out a sigh. SHIDO enters the ring and the referee looks to give the former champion his instructions but SHIDO brushes him off and tells him to ring the bell. The referee obliges.

The bell sounds and the two meet in the center of the ring. Cartel mouths the words “What is wrong with you?” but SHIDO does not respond, he just holds his arms out and puts his head down. Cartel seems baffled. “What are you doing?” she says.

“This is...strange.” Murphy says.

“Stranger than normal for SHIDO.” Balk replies.

“Do it.” SHIDO says softly.

“What?” Cartel responds.

“Do. It.” SHIDO repeats, quieter and more deliberately.

Cartel takes a moment to consider his words and then turns to the referee. The referee shrugs. Then out of nowhere SHIDO slaps Cartel across the face.

“Do it!” SHIDO yells.

Cartel seems a little taken aback but ultimately she nods, winds up, and blasts SHIDO with an Eclipse. SHIDO drops and Cartel reluctantly covers for the three count.


Following the bell Cartel rolls out of the ring and quickly walks up the ramp, we do not even get a brief glimpse of her expression. The referee goes to check on SHIDO when the lights go out. There is momentary darkness and when they come back on it is just the referee in the ring. SHIDO is gone.

The World Champion is out first and she is well received by a massive ovation. As she enters the ring it seems that every fan in The Sanctum is firmly behind her. Daniels hands the championship to the referee and awaits her opponent.

F.M. Young is out next, flanked by Jake Archer who somehow got his hands on a bull horn. Once they reach the ring Archer prances around ringside as Young enters and gets her instructions from the referee. The bell sounds and the lights over the crowd dim.

The two competitors lock up with Young using her power to shove Daniels down to the mat. Daniels recalibrates and shoots forward looking for a double leg takedown but Young hits a double axe handle to Daniels’ back, which drops the champion to her stomach. Young hits a few quick stomps to Daniels’ lower back but the latter is able to retreat to the nearest corner before Young can do too much damage.

“F.M. Young wants to prove that she belongs in the World Title conversation. A win over the champion would leave no doubt in anyone’s mind.” Balk says.

“As far as I’m concerned she is the number one contender. This should be a title match.” Murphy says.

Young marches over to the corner but Daniels slips through Young’s grapple attempt. Daniels peppers Young with some quick kicks before Young catches one and pulls Daniels into a choke, not unlike the scene from earlier in the day. Daniels breaks Young’s grip and puts her down with a spinning heel kick.

The One Woman Army stands back up and wipes some spit from her mouth before advancing. Young looks for a right hand but Daniels slips underneath it and hits the ropes. Daniels hits a springboard and looks for a flying back elbow but Young catches her in mid-air and seamlessly transitions into a release German suplex. The champion lands with a thud and Young is right on her with some relentless stomps.

“We are seeing an extremely vicious F.M. Young here tonight.” Balk says.

“She’s always been that way Textbook but now she is doing it at a high level.” Murphy says.

“Are you her main cheerleader?” Balk says.

“Well I haven’t been given that exact title but I am campaigning for it.” Murphy says.

“Clearly.” Balk replies.

Daniels back tucks up to her feet but Young flies through the air with a forearm that sends Daniels back into a corner. Young follows that up with a series of big forearm smashes to the face before backing up. Young points and Daniels and then hits her with a heavy dropkick to the face that drops the champion. Young grabs the ropes on either side of the turnbuckle and hits Daniels with a Negasonic Warhead, covering for a quick two count.

The champion looks to put some space between herself and Young but Young leaps and lands on her, getting her back and clubbing her with some big shots to the back of the head. The referee applies a five count and Young stops at four and a half. From ringside Archer cheers on his client.

Daniels tries to rally and stand but Young comes out of nowhere with a swinging neckbreaker. Young covers again but only gets two. Young then grinds her forearm into the champion’s face, adding insult to injury. The referee breaks it up but Young looks extremely pleased with herself.

Young gets Daniels up and shoots her into the ropes. On Daniels’ return Young goes for a clothesline but Daniels ducks under it. Daniels attempts to come back with a cross body but Young leaps into the air and catches Daniels with a high knee that drops the champion. Young covers and only gets a two count.

“Young is showing some frustration now. Her face says it all.” Balk says.

“That’s how she always looks these days. Finale stole her title and she won’t change her expression until she picks up some more gold.” Murphy says.

Young delivers some more stiff stomps to the side of Daniels’ head and then lifts her up. Young calls for the end and shoots Daniels into the ropes. Young tosses Daniels up into the air and looks for the Human Error Processor but Daniels lands behind her, hits the ropes and drops Young with a desperation sling blade!

Both competitors are quickly back up but Daniels strikes first with a springboard moonsault to take The One Woman Army down. Daniels pulls Young up from the mat and applies a Muay Thai clinch. Daniels hits several Bee’s Knees to Young’s face before attempting Amnesia but Young shoves her into the ropes and goes for the Human Error Processor again, however, Daniels transitions into a head scissors takedown into a pin for the quick three count!


Young can’t believe that a simple mistake cost her the match and she looks furious. Instead of attacking Daniels or anything like that Young stomps up the ramp with Archer trailing after her.
