Current Champion: Jake Archer
The secondary championship in Elysium symbolizes what the business has become and where the business is going. Weight limits, gender restrictions, style restrictions - they are a thing of the past. The present and future of professional wrestling is a melding of styles. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day and that is what the Hybrid Championship represents.
To rise to the top of Elysium you cannot be a one dimensional competitor. You need to grow, evolve, and embody so many different things. You need to become a master of as many things as you can or you will not survive. You will drown while superior talent swims. The competitor who holds the Hybrid Championship shows that they are on their way to the top of the pecking order. Should the champion be able to defend this title five times (their title victory included) then they are allowed to cash it in for an opportunity at the World Championship.
