So, dunno if Ive ever flat out and said it but Ashe has Hispanic heritage so I have a question for everyone.
If I were to have him say something in Spanish and provide translation for people, would you say that the translation would/should count towards the Word Count of the RP?

This is interesting because there is no rule for having a set language in promos. I would say that it is dependent on how much your character uses that foreign language.

to expand, it wouldnt be much. just for some like, flair here and there. maybe a phrase or like a couple sentences per RP. just to add a little dimension to the character

Personally and mostly because FM too uses Spanish, I'd say you could put numbers at the end of the spanish sentences and then put the translations all down at the buttom by number and I don't think that should count toward word count. It'd be just like as little index lexicon or like an in frame closed caption.

I personally wouldn't mind the translation being free from word count restraints.

Or make it clear somehow in your promo that Ashe is speaking Spanish and that subtitles are being provided. I have a luchador that I play that speaks almost exclusively in Spanish, and I write his dialogue in brackets [like this]. At some point in the RP i also mention specifically he is speaking spanish and is being dubbed.
