The Tag Team Grand Prix saw four teams compete in two separate matches to qualify for the finals. The Swag Baskets defeated Enigma Protocol and Infinity Revolution defeated Uprising to qualify. The two successful teams met in a ladder match at the last Elysium show of 2017 where Alyssa Daniels was able to climb the ladder and claim the titles for herself and Kevin Moss.

Following the untimely death of her partner Kevin Moss, Alyssa Daniels called upon her father Keith Daniels to help her defend the Tag Team Titles at Cataclysm. Despite their fire and drive The Daniels were unable to turn back the challenge of The Enigma Protocol, a result that devastated almost everyone in the arena.
