Mainly as a character.
Anyone who has peeked at her roster sheet will have noticed that over the course of the past several months I've been here, I've shifted her alignments.
I tried to have her be a Face -- and failed miserably at that. So I went to a Monster/Delinquent Heel Hybrid. Now, I'm having her permanently stay as a Tweener with Delinquent attitude/tendencies.
The reason I made that last alteration is because there are a few Face-like traits Sam does possess. She abhors cheating, as well as those who resort to doing so. If she ever has to do so herself, it'll be for a damn good reason. And even if a very justified incentive arrives, she'll have to feel really desperate to end up risk looking like a hypocrite. Otherwise, it just isn't in her nature to cheat.
It's likely obvious (whether painfully so or only slightly), but I did originally create Sam to be a woman whom, for most of her life, has been a punk [hence the Delinquent Heel side of her].
I suppose my main question is ... well, for a lack of better wording, how is she?
It is true that yes, I did make her mainly a loner. However, if she gets put in a tag match - or in any fight/scenario where she'll have a partner - I don't want her to be viewed as impossible to work with.
Honestly, even if she never gets in those kinds of scenarios, I don't want her to seem like she's too much/bitchy/whatever.
It's a flaw that I'll admit a lot of my OCs end to have; being far too serious or having their mannerisms unable to be tolerated.
So .... thoughts, please?
Constructive criticism is fine, but keep it only to that please.
Sorry, didn't mean o make this a rant of sorts. But this has been a worry on my mind. I do wanna keep building/improving her and, eventually, have her somehow work with people in promos and such. But that's why I'm asking now if she even seems a bit approachable in anyone's mind/eyes. Because if the answer's no, better to find out now and balance her out while I can.
Side note, if you want to add feedback for how her promos/writing has been, go for it. But I'm much more concerned about Samantha as a character, though input for both is appreciated.
