Best Match: War of Attrition Match since it was treated as the Main Event. The other five matches felt like appetizers to the main course which was that match. Sleeper Match would have been Hamilton versus Young. Best Segment: The Iron Championship deactivation. Drama was at an all-time during this segment as Young was screwed out of her Iron Championship. Made Young appear even more babyface by wanting what she legitimately never lost. Best Spot: Areano's mid-air dropkick on SHIDO since it was a hope spot where I actually believed she might pull out the upset. Best Moment: Similar to MVP, it was Alyssa Daniels winning the Elysium World Championship since it was much deserved. MVP: "The Heart of Infinity" Alyssa Daniels for winning the Elysium World Championship.
Other Comments: More than anything I'm glad that Elysium returned.

Best Match: World Championship (It was a well written and fast paced match. Didn't get dull and held the reader's interest throughout.) Best Segment: The best overall is likely the Iron Championship deactivation segment, but my personal favorite was the FM Young/Archer/Hamilton segment. Best Spot: "DEIMOS spins Daniels around looking for the Blood Omen but at the last second Daniels leaps and catches him with Amnesia! DEIMOS drops and Daniels rises like a phoenix made of pure fighting spirit! Daniels climbs to the top rope and without hesitation she leaps off and hits the Shot to the Heart!" Best Moment: Daniels winning the Championship MVP: Daniels, no doubt about it.
Other Comments: I like the more summary style for the results. I may be a minority, but I don't expect long matches every time I open up a show. Obviously there are times (the main event for example) where a longer match is appropriate, but each and every one doesn't need to be a saga. This makes the shows easier to absorb and ultimately easier to produce. I liked too that the segments were all in a constant voice. I didn't go over the show with a fine tooth comb, but I didn't detect a lot of typos and grammatical errors either. Nice work.

Best Match: War of Attrition match. It was full of spots and chaos and was a fun read! You could really feel the different vibes with each character. None of them felt like "throwaway generic wrestler #4." DEIMOS got over as a sadistic, violence-loving monster. SHIDO came across as the pissed off and too hard to kill champion. FM Young made it a point to target any and everyone to show just how dominant she truly is, while Jake Archer made sure he was super annoying and highly reactive to what was going on with Young. Elina Cartel came across as enigmatic and intelligent, picking her spots and kinda sorta seemed like she was not fighting SHIDO but didn't really help either and left a whole lot of questions up in the air regarding their relationship after her face turn right at the end of the last Elysium era as well as the clear shots she took at him leading up to Wideawake. And I really love how Alyssa was shown as a vulnerable underdog with that fighting spirit. Every person in the match had their shining moments and nobody was written off as an afterthought, which is easy to do in the multiperson chaos. Phenomenal job. Best Segment: The confrontation between Young and Finale over the Iron Title. This segment definitely got more love than the others in the show, it felt like. Finale stayed relaxed and carefree, even when confronted by an irate Young. They referenced Boots mailing the Hybrid Championship back to Elysium. Jake Archer made sure to be annoying. It was very well designed and a nice way to set the stage and expectation for the small roster size moving forward. Best Spot: SHIDO's Meteora onto DIEMOS through the table. I can't help it, I'm a sucker for big spots through tables or from high places. Best Moment: Elina Cartel steps out onto the ramp... And promptly sits down to watch instead of getting involved immediately. It felt like exactly the type of thing she'd do and added just the right amount of flavor. MVP: I really enjoy SHIDO's writing. I swear, I think the character could talk about paint drying but you'd still be able to pick up on the charismatic and natural swagger he possesses. It feels so natural to think of SHIDO as the God he claims to be. The typed up words are just hypnotic that way somehow. And the character in the show was portrayed as this unkillable hero type, something I definitely didn't expect from the sinister character. Despite the loss at the end, I feel like he still came out of the event strong, albeit titleless.
Other Comments: The new style really worked in my opinion. The voice of the segments and the continuity made them enjoyable to read. Additionally, I like the surprise of not knowing who is going to appear and interact with who doing what... It's more fun that way. It's also far less tedious to read through matches without the commentary that sometimes feels like it's only there because 'commentators are important too.' That's not a shot at the results of Elysium past, that's every fed that heavily features commentary. Aside from some strange typos, I really have nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the results!

Best Match: War of Attrition match, pretty much for the reasons stated. It was fun and felt unique, it was well written and flowed nicely. Though I did like Vibbins V Cartel too, you could tell it was well built up and both characters got a good showing. Best Segment: I think all the segments were well written and filled their purpose. I don't really have a best or favorite and I've never truly been a fan of non-player written segments, but I get why it's being done. I'm not complaining and I think doing it that way puts less stress on Cody and makes the show a little more readable and have better context. So, it's not a bad thing. Best Spot: Not a spot per say but I liked that Daniels just kind of beat Villalobos like a wet rug, it was funny to me. In a good way. Best Moment: Since when is Finale employing not-asian-Lady Feet Knives from Kingsmen? That was interesting. MVP: Daniels and SHIDO, they both did fantastically and you can really tell from the writing that Azurine is improving too.
Other Comments: I like the new style, it works pretty well and flows nicely. I really hope it's less stressful for the Bossman. I agree with Daniels in liking the surprise of not knowing what's coming and I really like Cody kept commentary. Normally when people 'slim down and condense' matches commentary is the first thing to get the axe. Which would have been a shame as dude has a real flair for it and I would have missed Filth. I'm glad Filth stayed.
