WRESTLER
Wrestler Name: Alex Kincaid
Nickname: The Sky Star, The Phoenix Trigger, The Ascendant
Height & Weight: 6'0" & 236lbs.
Billed From: Platinum Coast, Florida
Pic Base: Elias
Twitter: I don’t do twitter.
Alignment: Face
Entrance Music: "Storm Eagle” by Leaf XCEED
Entrance Description: The grinding opening notes to “Storm Eagle” play as the lights dim in the arena. The drums pound and the song explodes to life proper, with overhead lights hitting the stage and Alyssa Kincaid coming through the curtain first. She’s all smiles, waving out at the people, as a moment later Alex steps onto the stage. The Bullet King is all business, staring coldly out over the crowd. As always though, the cheers of the audience crack his facade and he grins a little before turning to the ring and heading down the ramp.
He heads up to the apron and watched his wife take her place in his corner, climbing through the ropes and raising one hand high to point to the sky. He turns and looks to the top rows of the building, where he saw his first wrestling shows years ago and points up at them before he climbs to the middle rope and plants a foot on the top turnbuckle. He shouts out to the audience, and then hops down to warm up against the ropes and await the start of the contest.
Gimmick: The Bullet King is a born troublemaker. A professional malcontent. A journeyman who can never stay in one place long because his big mouth just won’t let him settle down. He’s got a clear vision of what professional wrestling should be, and that vision has run him headlong into trouble over and over again. He’s a veteran presence in every locker room he goes to, having started young and been in the business well over a decade. The story is the same everywhere he shows up: He claims he’s finally going to settle down, be a company man, put food on the table for his wife and daughter...but he’s got a hero streak a mile wide. Eventually someone upsets him, and he finds himself fighting to protect the business he loves.
Fighting Style: Alex Kincaid is the product of two great influences: Welsh catch star Steve Llewellyn and Lucha Libre Maestro Máscaras Cinco. He wrestles a well rounded style, with a focus on working his opponents legs with elaborate matwork that’s about annoying his opponent as much as it is finishing the match. A former hockey player in his youth, he’s a scrappy athlete who can surprise opponents when the tempo turns up and he starts rattling them with big clotheslines, dropkicks, splashes and a pinch of that lucha influenced high flying.
He is always accompanied to ringside for his matches by his wife and longtime manager, Alyssa. She’s very much your girl next door, loveable Torrie Wilson type who has been around long enough that she’s got a fair amount of her own fans. Her safety is his top priority, often falling to distractions when she is threatened or accidentally hurt. In return, she often gives him the strength to push on when his body is giving out on him. If he has a major weakness, it’s being relatively small for a heavyweight and a famous nagging injury in his left knee. `
