We are bathed in white light, pure and all-encompassing, but not blinding. As the brilliance fades, we see a Spartan scene... a warehouse, a studio? A bare wall of exposed white brick, a hardwood floor. A figure, dressed in a white Nike workout suit, the jacket open to reveal a black Adidas sports bra.
This is Atropos, Fate's Chosen One. She stands in silence for a moment, staring directly into the camera and into our souls, before she speaks... So, this is Elysium.
Fate led me here, much in the same way fate led me to a career in professional wrestling. I trusted in it, opened myself to it, and let it lead me to where I could inspire the most people. It led me here. Now, as I already commented on social media, I find myself in Toronto, signed to a promotion that has a Cyclops, a Titaness, a chosen one of Artemis, and men called Demios and Orion. Me. Atropos.
Clearly, I'm in the right place.
Atropos. One of the three Moirai, the fates, the daughters of the night. Not the name I was born with, but the one I chose. It seemed fitting, as both the number three and the idea of destiny have played a very large role in the 26 years I've spent on the Earth so far. It was a name that spoke to me when I chose it, and which speaks to me even more now that I've found myself to Elysium, and find myself in the company I'm now keeping.
My only goal has been to inspire. The world is dark and our times are sad. Our leaders are either weak or corrupt. Our entertainment is uninspired, repetitive and meaningless. Our great thinkers are shackled by political corectness and a society so quick to take offence that we are slowly forgetting how to feel anything else. We are, as a society, castrated and inept. We are bored, nearly to death, and most of us don't even know it.
That's where I come in. That's what I'm here for.
I am here to inspire. To stir emotion where emotion lays dormant. Since I was a child, I knew it was what I was meant to do. It took me years to find the right tools to do it... and I found three: My beauty, my voice, and my ability to inflict violence. Like the gladiators of old, I will provide the people who choose this as their entertainment with something they can believe in, someone they can root for, something that will elevate their hearts and minds in a way that speaks directly to what we are as humans, what urges lay buried within us.
This is my arena, my fate, my destiny.
Shall we begin?
