WRESTLER
Wrestler Name: Rafa Whatley
Nickname: n/a
Height & Weight: 6'2" & 240lbs.
Billed From: Dallas, TX
Pic Base: Ezekiel Elliott
Twitter: n/a
Alignment: Heel
Entrance Music: "Bad and Boujee" by Migos
Entrance Description: Everyone's favorite song “Bad and Boujee” hits the sound system and fans boo knowing who this must be. Out saunters Rafa Whatley, looking awkward on a wrestling stage as all professional athletes do. He has no idea how much time to take showing off and his dancing is well… confident. He takes his time getting to the ring. His timing is off with the cameras as he poses on the ropes.
Gimmick: Once a promising young running back playing for a prestigious NFL team, Rafa Whatley was caught cheating and banned for life from the league by the Commissioner. One of the most highly controversial and disliked people among the American public, Rafa’s elite athleticism and infamous charisma are still impossible to deny. With his football career over, Rafa Whatley has chosen to pursue a career in fighting. Elysium Pro will be the testing tube for this train wreck of an experiment.
Fighting Style: Like a bull in a hammer shop. A rookie, expect Rafa Whatley to “botch” many traditional wrestling moves and resort to using straight physicality when the going gets tough. As a world class athlete, few can hang with him when he begins dominating. Mental mistakes and “wrestling spots” may be his weakness.
Professional Resemblance:
1. Monty Brown
2. Goldberg
3. Braun Strowman
Common Moves:
1. Blows: Punches, elbows, clubbing blows, axe handles, a headbutt or two
2. Wrestling moves: Basic takedowns, uses physicality on ground
3. Submissions: very basic, headlocks, illegal chokes to a 5 count
4. Powerslams: traditional, fallaway slam, running powerslam
Signature Moves:
1. A Black Flag (Military press falling into a spinebuster)
2. Over the top rope dive (As a big man it’s rare but occasionally he’ll bust out an incredibly awkward and dangerous looking dive, usually at great expense to himself and his opponent)
3. Da Pounce
Finishing Moves:
1. The Pedigree
2. He choke a bitch out
