WRESTLER
Wrestler Name: Brooklyn Light
Nickname: N/A
Height & Weight: 5'6" & 130 lbs
Billed From: The Year 20XX
Pic Base: Constantine in Tokyo (Kaneda cosplay)
Twitter: @suplexcyborgs, but I don't check it much
Alignment: Face
Entrance Music: "Venger" by Perturbator
Entrance Description: The lights in the arena dim. As the opening sounds of Perturbator's "Venger" start up, Brooklyn Light steps out onto the entry ramp, accompanied by a rolling fog. She turns, and as the beat picks up she raises a single hand... and points, with her thumb, to the "NEO TOKYO" scrawled across the back of her jacket. Red lights begin to strobe in beams along the ramp.
Before the lyrics start and the song picks up in earnest, Brooklyn swings around to face the crowd, taking a modest pace as she makes her way toward the ring. Though she doesn't stop, she does point out the occasional sign, nods approvingly at a few people wearing her merch, and high fives some random fans in the front rows. Upon reaching the ring she makes her way around it, still keeping some hustle but reaching a bit more of the audience--and putting her sunglasses on a random kid in the crowd--before sliding under the bottom rope. She paces the ring for a moment, and--
JUST as the chorus hits, Brooklyn scales to the middle turnbuckle, throwing her arms wide. She stays there for a moment, basking in the atmosphere, before hopping back down and removing her jacket.
Gimmick: Hotblooded, nazi punching, motorcycle riding cyberpunk raging against the machine. In her recent attempts to break out of her indie wrestler stigma, Brooklyn joined Iota Psi to form the tagteam Neo Tokyo.
Fighting Style: Driven to exude that elusive "main event aura," Brooklyn has a flashy all-rounder, WWE-esque wrestling style--mostly a brawler, sticking heavily to whatever's worked in the past (possibly to a fault, as she can be predictable). She does have some amateur kickboxer training behind her strikes, but nothing too notable. What she lacks in technical ability, she mostly makes up for in aggression and fire.
Professional Resemblance:
1. Diamond Dallas Page
2. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
3. CM Punk
Common Moves:
1. A Bunch of Punches and Knees
2. Back Elbow
3. Baseball Slide Dropkick
4. Boston Crab
5. DDT
6. Fireman's Carry to Flapjack
7. Jumping Clothesline
8. Flying Elbow Drop
9. Headlock Takeover
10. Pumphandle Gutbuster
11. Repeating Knee Lifts
12. Running Bulldog
13. Running DDT
14. Running Double Knees to Corner
15. Russian Legsweep
16. Shortarm Clothesline
17. Sidewalk Slam
18. Swinging Neckbreaker
19. Tiger Suplex
Signature Moves:
1. Hank Henshaw Haymaker (Springboard from the middle rope into an ugly mid-air punch)
2. Five Moves of Doom: Pretty much this exact sequence, with some variation if it calls for it. Brooklyn eats a punch, staggers, demands another one. Takes another punch. Throws a counter punch, then another, irish whip opponent to turnbuckle, running knees to the corner, running bulldog OUT of the corner, climb opposite turnbuckle, wait for opponent to stand to hit Hope Rides Alone (finisher, below).
Finishing Moves:
1. Future Imperfect (Rock Bottom)
2. Hope Rides Alone (Diving Meteora / double knees from the top rope onto a standing opponent)
