The scene we opened up to was a private casino. Everyone in the room looked to be in a good mood playing different games around the room, but the camera focused in on a poker table in the centre of the room. We sat across from Elysium's newest signing, Yuuto Tatsugami. His outfit looked like it came out of a style magazine. He wore a sky blue dress shirt covered by a two-toned vest, the front has a sleek silver and the back has a classic plaid design of grey and blue. He wore circular sunglasses with reflective blue lenses. It wasn't clear where he was looking, but the rest of the musculature on his face made it clear he was thinking, contemplating.
His eyebrows gave the slightest hint that he was looking towards his right, and the camera followed his gaze. A bleach blonde man with a long but tightly trimmed beard was shown. He was staring daggers at Yuuto, but he had already folded his hand. He was glaring for a different reason and one which quickly became apparent as he made one quick movement that saw him kick his chair back and pull a gun, aimed directly at Yuuto's head.
The camera pulled back and showed Yuuto standing with a gun of his own drawn. An elaborately crafted Taurus PT99 with transparent magazines, the grips removed, a compensator and a gold-plated barrel. It also features various frame and slides cut-out revealing the inner workings of the gun.
He doesn't do much except for aiming his gun. A smile on his face appears as he lays down his hands and reveals that despite his foes fold Yuuto's hand was actually worthless. A bluff that worked better than expected. Yuuto can see the writing on the walls, and instead of shooting, he tosses his gun up into the air. The blonde man looks up, and Yuuto jumps onto the table, scoops as much money as he can into a bag, and, less than a second after jumping up, jumps forward, flipping through the air and landing what amounts to an axe kick to the man with the gun. The impact slams the man's head into the table and sends his gun flying. While still flipping Yuuto grabs his gun out of the air and sprints out of the room. The blonde man scampers for his own gun and quickly follows chase.
Yuuto is seen in the same outfit, his hair ruffled and his face glistening with sweat. He's been running for a while, but he looks confident, he looks safe. The room he's in looks to be a bunker or a safe-house and few things can be picked out amongst the mess. He flips a light switch, and a light shines on a wall. A wall of pictures with a red string attaching various faces, locations, items. Newspaper clippings mentioning high-level athletes, brainiacs, or just criminal millionaires. He takes off a picture, and it's the same blonde man that was seen in the casino. He balls up the photo and throws it away before starting to tear down newspapers related to him.
The man, from the articles, was a high-level criminal, known for racketeering and large drug deals. Yuuto didn't seem interested in him, however.
Yuuto seemed to finally acknowledge the camera as he began to speak.
"It all leads to them."
He began to move pieces of string together. The camera focused on individual pictures, Joseph Hunter, Samantha Hamilton, FM Young, Erik Holland. He moved the strings from each and brought the ends back to one Newspaper Article "Elysium Pro Wrestling".
"Land of gods.
I must search for more.
I must begin the elevation."
Yuuto seemed to be in a private gym. He was working the bag right now, sending multiple kicks and strikes that sounded off like cannon fire as he went.
"Some men will travel their entire lives, and never know their true potential.
Some men will know their potential, and never work to reach it.
It takes true determination to reach that potential.
It takes more to realise it.
Elysium, your roster knows no end. Your potential is unending.
A land of true warriors, where gods shall fight among mere men."
Yuuto dipped his head, sending his back leg flying with a blur of speed into the bag. The kick moved at blinding speed, so much so that if the massive booming sound was anything to go off, the sound barrier was almost broken. The force of his heel meeting the bag split it open, the fabric tearing to shreds and leading to the sand within it spilling to the floor.
"Peace among gods is never found. Combat amongst them is vital to their continued existence."
With that, Yuuto simply walked off screen, and in his place, with the pile of sand and the destroyed bag to it's right was a simple message.
"The Battle
of the Gods
Begins...
... Soon."
