∞IN RING∞
“The Nightmare King” Lio Walsh started the show by coming to the ring and the Iron Champion looked beyond pissed off. Walsh took hold of a microphone and said that his loss to Gabe Shelley at Frontline last week stirred something in him that everyone needs to be completely terrified by. He said that even though he didn’t get his World Title shot, that he is still the Iron Champion and that Glitches is still his show. This brought out Glitches General Manager, Volkov. Volkov said that he has always been a supporter of Walsh and saw him as the face of Glitches for weeks. Volkov said that although he knows that to be true, that the fans and the locker room doubted Walsh. Volkov challenged Walsh to make believers out of them.
∞SINGLES MATCH∞
HELENA HANDBASKET vs. JENNIFER ENIGMA
The first match of the evening saw Elysium veteran and nut bag Helena Handbasket take on “The Demon Witch” Jennifer Enigma. Enigma was looking to avenge her last loss and she came at Handbasket like...well...a demon. Handbasket, having been in team scenarios since her return to Elysium, was a bit rusty at first but took the fight to Enigma. This just fired Enigma up even more and after a Black Out (Standing Spinning Roundhouse Kick), Enigma put Handbasket down with her Danse Macabre (Spinning Cyclone Unprettier) for the victory.Winner: Jennifer Enigma
∞BACKSTAGE∞
Cut to the interview area with Backstage Correspondent Kristie Steele. She welcomed the triad of Static Age; Kara Scene, Tommy and Ramsay Kapstone. Scene described their new direction as a rebirth for the Static Age brand and that Ramsay adds the element that they were looking for. Tommy said that the Triad Division is ripe for the picking now that the only real threat, the Switchblade Angels, had disbanded. Ramsay then mockingly defended the champions, Triad of Tango. Ramsay said “It’s not like the TOTs were viewed by the entire roster as perpetual fuck ups” and then laughed. Ramsay promised a victory tonight and said that it was serve as postage on their letter of intent to Triad of Tango.∞TAG TEAM MATCH∞
CAMILLE HARRINGTON & LANDON CARTER vs. JAKE ARCHER & SPECTRE
Before this one started we saw video of Landon Carter defeating Jake Archer on Frontline last week. It then cut to Archer and Spectre attacking Carter after the match, only for Camille Harrington to make the save. This match started with Archer offering Spectre the opportunity to start against Carter. Carter then proceeded to beat the ever living shit out of Spectre with various punches and kicks. Carter then let Harrington get her some and the fledgling tag team took Spectre down with a high/low. Spectre reached out to tag Archer but The G.O.A.T. didn’t look too eager to get into the match. Harrington took Spectre down with a judo throw and then tagged in Carter. The two measured Spectre and as Harrington hit Spectre with a Superman punch to the face, Carter connected with a running knee to the back of Spectre’s head. Carter covered and Harrington welcomed Archer to enter the ring but The G.O.A.T. declined and let Spectre eat the fall.Winners: Camille Harrington & Landon Carter
After the match Archer and Spectre scurried away but Carter had more business. Carter got on the microphone and said that people like Archer were worms, people that feel like they are owed something. Carter said that there are a lot of people around Elysium that think they can do whatever they want but Carter said that those people were primed for a harsh dose of reality. Carter said that he was tired of being in the background because he belongs center stage.
∞LOCKER ROOM∞
In the locker room Zafar Khan was shown getting ready for his main event match against Yuuto Tatsugami. Iron Champion, Lio Walsh entered the frame and the two had a staredown. When Khan asked Walsh what he wanted, the champion called Khan a disgrace. Walsh said that the fact that a loser like Khan was in the main event of Walsh’s show made Walsh sick. Khan said that Walsh should use the night off to think long and hard about why Walsh didn’t have a match. Khan said that he could also look back on the ass whipping he suffered at the hands of Gabe Shelley. Khan walked off, leaving the champion fuming.∞TAG TEAM MATCH∞
PARADISE TANGO vs. THE VIXENS
Out next we saw two thirds of the Triad Champions come out to take on the highly touted new tag team of The Vixens. Azurine Vebbins started the match against Nora Frost, hitting Frost with a forearm shiver, an open palm strike and finally a big dropkick. Vebbins brought Areano in and the two hit a tandem dropkick on Frost. Frost was able to scramble and tag in Rachelle Ryder. Ryder fought Areano off and planted her with a Ryde of Your Life (Leg Lariat) for a two count. Ryder tagged Frost back in and the two put Areano down with a double hip toss and then The Vixens smashed Areano with double running knees to the back of the head for a two count. Vebbins begged for the tag but Areano was rocked. Frost stalked Areano and tried for Frost Bite (Springboard Tornado DDT) but Areano caught her with a high kick to the face. Ryder entered the ring to try and stop Areano from making the tag but Areano caught her with an enziguiri. Areano tagged in Vebbins and while Vebbins hit a German suplex on Frost, Areano also hit a shiranui. Vebbins covered and got the W.Winners: Paradise Tango
∞EARLIER TODAY...∞
Day time, the exterior of The Silver Snail comic book store in Toronto is shown and a sandwich board is sat outside the door. It read, “TODAY IN-STORE - ELYSIUM STARS PEACHES AND AKEMI HAYASHI”. Cut to the inside of the store where the popular new tag team was sat at a table, signing autographs for fans. After signing a photo for an excited young girl, a male teen dressed in all black approached the table. He was wearing an Enigma Protocol t-shirt. The edgy team told Peaches & Hayashi that he wanted to come meet them today because they were going to die tomorrow night. Hayashi asked what his name was and the teen said, “I don’t want a fucking autograph, I just came to troll you.” The kid looked very satisfied with himself.“I’ll just make it out to ‘Hormonal’.” Peaches replied, “Be sure to watch Frontline tomorrow little girl, we’re facing those fun characters on your shirt. And we’re going to beat them!”
Peaches and Hayashi high fived. The edgy teen was speechless, likely because this was the first time that he ever spoke to one woman...let alone two. Edgy went to speak further but Peaches shoo’d him away. The teen hung his head in shame, walking away.
∞TRIAD MATCH∞
ASHLEY CROSS, LENA SKYE, & MARILYN LEE CROSS vs. STATIC AGE
The next match was a real mess. Kara Scene started the match with Ashley Cross and they quickly both went over the top rope to the outside. Yuki Kita went to note the lucha libre rules but Bon Klassen stopped her, saying that if the fans weren’t aware of this by now then that is their fault. Tommy Kapstone came in and rushed Marilyn Lee Cross but she sent him sailing over the top rope. This brought Ramsay Kapstone into the ring. Lena Skye saw him coming and she climbed to the top rope but Ramsay was faster, he shoved her off of the top rope to the outside. Skye landed on her feet, but found herself stood beside Tommy, Scene, and Ashley on the outside. Ramsay climbed to the top rope and hit a moonsault down on to everyone...everyone but Tommy. MLC was distracted by the action on and Tommy hit her with Skyhook (Springboard Corkscrew Uppercut). Tommy quickly capitalized and dropped MLC with The Ghostmaker (Stormbreaker) for the victory.Winners: Static Age
∞VOLKOV’S DEN∞
The General Manager of Glitches was in his dirty old den, watching the program from his shitty reclining chair when Jennifer Enigma entered the frame. “I’ve been here for weeks and I want a real goddamn opportunity. I want a real challenge!”. Volkov said that he agreed, that Enigma had been most impressive. Volkov said that he would speak with Ramona Holiday to see what ‘fate’ had in store for Jennifer Enigma. The Demon Witch seemed to know what that meant and left the Den, satisfied.∞SINGLES MATCH∞
YUUTO TATSUGAMI vs. ZAFAR KHAN
The main event was pretty fucking nuts. The two competitors started the match with a hand shake and then proceeded to kick the absolute shit out of each other, literally. The two traded kicks until Tatsugami took control with a springboard knee and then a slingblade for a near fall. Khan fought back, as he has been known to do, and he got a near fall of his own following a superkick. Khan then sent Tatsugami to the outside with a hurricanranna. Khan looked to follow it up with a tope con hilo but Tatsugami moved out of the way at the last second. Khan hit with a thud and Tatsugami rolled Khan back into the ring, following the rules. Khan tried to regain his wind and fight back but Tatsugami nailed him with Spirit of Ryujin (Snap Dragon Suplex). Tatsugami got another near fall. Tatsugami then attempted Yotsui (Double Wristlock Knee Strike) but Khan slipped through the knee strike with a roll up and kept Tatsugami down for the three count.Winner: Zafar Khan
Almost right after the bell sounded Lio Walsh rushed the ring with the Iron Championship in hand. Tatsugami saw this coming and as Walsh entered the ring and went to smash Khan with the belt, Tatsugami dove in the way and took the bullet. Walsh cracked Tatsugami right in the face with the title. Khan got up and tried to make a move but Walsh cracked him too!
Walsh mounted Khan and looked as if he was going to hit Khan in the face with the belt a few more times but to his surprise, Landon Carter came stomping down the ramp. Walsh didn’t high tail it, he stood his ground. Carter got in the ring and Walsh went to hit him with the title but Carter blocked it and went to pull Walsh in for Bankrupt (Lifting DDT) but Walsh slipped out of it and planted Carter with Made of Nightmares (Rock Bottom).
The Nightmare King stood in the ring, with bodies laying all around him. Walsh held his Iron Championship high and let everyone know that Glitches was indeed his show.
