•EARLIER TODAY•
Before the show we get a look at the parking lot of the arena where the Elysium faithful stand to try and catch a glimpse of some Elysium wrestlers arriving. They get their friggin wish when “The marVel” Gabe Shelley walks up with his bags in tow. A ‘marVel’ chant started up but boy did that shit dissipate when “Born To Kill” Boots Martin walked up.
The two had a bit of a stare down until Martin cracked a smile and said how happy she was to be facing a wrestler of Shelley’s calibre in the nights main event. Martin said “Other people may think that your glory days are behind you, they might think that Shelley is past his prime but…” Martin paused, “...actually they are probably right.”
Shelley didn’t seem fazed, he told Martin that he has heard this same song and dance before. A new voice joined the convo when Tag Team Champion Erik Holland gave his two cents. The fans in cheered him but Martin shot them a “shut the fuck up” look...which worked.
Holland said, “I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for over a year. I wasn’t allowed to challenge SHIDO for the title but I’ve beaten Miguel before and I plan on doing it again. I’d be willing to start my match with you two right now.”
Martin just laughed and said that she is going to be number one contender but she also doesn’t fight for free. She said that Holland may still like to wrestle in parking lots but, “I’m far above that now. See you two under the bright lights.” She said, with a wink in Shelley’s direction.
•TAG TEAM MATCH•
AKEMI HAYASHI & PEACHES vs. ENIGMA PROTOCOL
This one started off quick with Akemi Hayashi and Peaches looking to prove something against the legendary Enigma Protocol. Peaches started the match against Ryan Gates, coming out of the...gate...with a shotgun dropkick. Peaches climbed to the middle rope and came off with a lungblower for the two count.
Peaches tagged in Hayashi, with Hayashi putting Gates down with a running leg lariat. Hayashi then took Gates down with a middle rope back elbow that sent Gates tumbling backward toward his corner. Hayashi told Gates to ‘bring it on’ and Gates looked like he saw a ghost. Miguel Villalobos did not looked pleased, he tagged himself in.
The World Champion stood across from Dagger but the latter was not shook. Hayashi rushed Villalobos and hit him with a forearm smash but the champion just ate it. Villalobos grabbed Hayashi by the throat and went for a chokeslam but Hayashi dropped behind him and hit him with a dropkick to the back of the head. Villalobos went face first into the opposition’s corner.
Dagger tagged in Peaches and Peaches leaped over the top rope then shot in with double knees to the back of the World Champion’s head. Peaches then got Villalobos to his feet and Irish whipped him toward Hayashi but Villalobos turned Hayashi inside out with a clothesline. Peaches tried to come at The Wolf King but got caught with Ay Dios Mio (Chokebomb).
Villalobos didn’t pin, he looked at Gates on the apron and then pointed back at Peaches, yelling “Terminalo!”. Villalobos tagged in Gates and Gates got in the ring and went to take hold of Peaches but Peaches rolled him up and got a near fall. Villalobos was losing his mind on the apron.
“How is this happening? Fruit Blade can’t beat the greatest team of all time!” Flith Murphy said.
“Fruit Blade?” Thad Balk said.
“Hey, they don’t come up with a name then I’m giving them one.” Murphy said.
Peaches tagged in Hayashi, who came into the ring with a springboard front dropkick. Hayashi then nailed Gates with the Third Eye Opener (Feigned Clothesline into a Back Elbow) which dropped him. Villalobos entered the ring and went to attack Hayashi but Peaches hit a springboard cross body into the ring which took Villalobos down.
Hayashi then pointed down at Gates and looked out into the audience. Toronto was losing its collective mind as Hayashi went to grab Gates but he got behind her and went for the Blood Reign (Rainmaker). Hayashi ducked under it, hit Gates with a boot to the gut and dropped him with Starflower (Twist of Fate). Hayashi covered and Toronto counted along with them. 1--2--! At the last second Villalobos was back in the ring.
Peaches had been run into the steel steps on the outside. In the ring Villalobos grabbed Hayashi by the back of the neck and dropped her with an Ay Dios Mio (Chokebomb). Villalobos laid Gates on top of Hayashi and Gates secured the three count for the victory.
Winners: Enigma Protocol
•BACKSTAGE•
Following a commercial a mesothelioma class action lawsuit, we saw Enigma Protocol backstage fresh after their match. Miguel Villalobos was losing his mind and Ryan Gates looked visibly upset. The Wolf King was rambling in Spanish as his sister listened. Isabella then turned to Gates and told him that Miguel is tired of Gates’ losing. Isabella explains that Miguel looks to Gates as a brother but since Miguel as ascended, Gates has lost his way. Isabella said that Miguel would not team with Gates until Gates gets his career back on track. Isabella said that for the time being, the Protocol was on hold.
•SINGLES MATCH•
DANNY HALL vs. LELAND MORGAN
A result of some shit talk last week, “The Obsession” Danny Hall was set to take on Leland Morgan. Hall came to the ring with a cardboard cut out of Alyssa Daniels in tow. Hall stood the cut out at ringside, gave it a smooch and then got ready for Morgan. Morgan paid no mind to it, he came to fight. Morgan caught Hall with a German suplex right out of the gate, and then a second. When Morgan went for a blockbuster but Hall evaded it and hit Morgan with Death By Hall (Big Boot followed by a Running Senton). Hall then smashed Morgan with The Trendsetter (Belly to Back Piledriver) and covered for the three count.
Winner: Danny Hall
After the bell, Hall took some time to mock Morgan before leaving the ring. Hall planted another kiss on cardboard Daniels’ cheek and then took her under his arm and left ringside. Morgan could only watch as Hall continued to disrespect Morgan’s friend.

Daylight, somewhere in Toronto. We are outside a diner called The Lakeview and the shot fades to inside. There in a booth we saw the hulking mass that is Eschaton. “The End of All Things” sat, stirring a coffee with a spoon when a massive shadown fell on his table.
The shot pulled out to show “Kodiak” Carter Williams, the man that Eschaton defeated in a Last Man Standing match at Parts Unknown.
“Please, sit.” Eschaton said.
Kodiak didn’t.
Eschaton exhaled sharply, “I suppose that I wouldn’t either. But I invited you here today because I wanted to say that I believe our issues are through. We went to war. I mean, I was the victor but there is no need for either of us to shorten our careers any further.”
Kodiak didn’t move.
“Well you haven’t hit me so I will assume that you agree. The fact is Kodiak, is that there are no other forces like us on the Elysium roster. We are very unique. We are monsters, like out of a horror film. The problem with those monsters is that they are often defeated because they act alone.” Eschaton said.
Kodiak remained still.
“Imagine what would happen if they acted together.” Eschaton said.
Kodiak grunted and then sat down at the table across from Eschaton. Eschaton smirked and the scene faded.
•SINGLES MATCH•
F.M. YOUNG vs. MARCUS LEVINE
F.M. Young came to the ring with a purpose, to win. Oddly enough, so did Marcus LeVine. LeVine tossed his Tag Team title at Young right after the bell rang and then he charged her. LeVine hit some big bad kicks on the One Woman Army. Young tried to come back but LeVine cracked her with a jumping knee to the chin. LeVine tried for the Ash Leveler (Reverse STO twisted into DDT) but Young dropped to her back and powered to the outside.
“That was nearly the end for F.M. Young.” Thad Balk said.
“Yeah right, her plan was for LeVine to tire himself out!” Filth Murphy responded.
LeVine gave chase to Young but she was lying in wait, LeVine came around the corner of the ring and walked right into Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline). LeVine got turned inside out. Young rolled him in the ring and covered but only got a two count.
Young climbed to the top rope and tried for the Battery Powered Bombshell (Shooting Star Senton) but LeVine moved out of the way. LeVine went for the Ash Leveler (Reverse STO twisted into DDT) and hit it! LeVine covered but Young got her foot on the bottom rope. LeVine dragged her away from the ropes but was distracted by two figures coming down the ramp.
“Oh...oh no.” Balk said.
The two biggest men in Elysium, Eschaton and “Kodiak” Carter Williams were walking down the ramp. LeVine looked somewhat perplexed but it gave Young time to roll LeVine up and get the surprise three count.
Winner: F.M. Young
Young left the ring with her victory just as the goliaths entered. LeVine looked ready to fight, armed with his Tag Team Title belt but he was all alone. As Kodiak stepped over the top rope LeVine rushed him and started nailing him with some big kicks to the quad. LeVine looked to smash Kodiak with the belt but Eschaton came from behind and destroyed LeVine with his Revelations kick. The two big men got LeVine up but turned their attention to the ramp when LeVine’s tag partner, Erik Holland came to the ring to a massive pop.
“The cavalry has arrived!” Balk said.
Holland slid into the ring at took aim with his Tag Team title belt but was immediately levelled with a double clothesline from the juggernauts. Eschaton and Kodiak then took hold of LeVine and planted him right onto Holland with an assisted powerbomb. Holland rolled around the ring holding his ribs in absolute agony as Eschaton and Kodiak each held up a title, their intent made clear.

HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP
•SINGLES MATCH•
JENNIFER ENIGMA vs. ATROPOS ©
Fresh off of a victory last week on Glitches, “The Demon Witch” Jennifer Enigma came to the ring and spooked the fuck out of Toronto. The defender of The Light, Hybrid Champion Atropos was out next and she got a massive pop.
“This one wrote itself, the dark against the light.” Filth Murphy said, “Darkness always win in the end.”
“That is oddly poetic Cyril.” Thad Balk said.
“I’m just trying not to be racist.” Murphy replied.
Atropos caught Enigma with a Japanese arm drag to kick this shit off and then she surprised The Demon Witch with a kip up rana. Enigma had to take a moment to compose herself but then she snarled and charged at Atropos, looking for a clothesline. Atropos caught Enigma’s arm, swung threw and planted Enigma with a dragon suplex for a near fall.
Enigma snarled once more and when Atropos tried to capitalize, Enigma caught Atropos with an eye poke that went undetected by the referee. Enigma then went further and caught Atropos with an eye rake that pissed Toronto right off. The Sanctum booed Enigma but she couldn’t give a fuck, Enigma planted Atropos with a double arm ddt and covered for a two count.
Atropos threw a strike at Enigma and surprisingly, Enigma caught her arm. Atropos went to throw with her nondominant arm and Enigma caught that one. With both arms trapped, Atropos was treated to a buffet of headbutts from The Demon Witch. With the upperhand, Enigma tried for Danse Macabre (Spinning Cyclone Unprettier) but Atropos wiggled out and put Enigma in Chosen By Fate (Rear Naked Choke). Enigma had no choice but to submit.
Winner: Still Hybrid Champion, Atropos
•BACKSTAGE•
Near the locker room area intrepid interviewer Yuki Kita tried to catch up with World Champion Miguel Villalobos and his sister Isabella. The siblings looked like they were packed and ready to leave the arena.
“Miguel, I was looking to get your thoughts on tonight’s main event but it appears that you are leaving--” Kita said.
Isabella stepped forward and got in Kita’s face.
“First of all puta, you will refer to The Wolf King as your champion or as my liege. Second of all, while Miguel would normally be out on his throne to watch the main event, he does not care who wins. He knows that he can defeat any of them. Miguel already won a match tonight, he has done his royal duty for the evening.” Isabella said.
Just then F.M. Young walked into frame and entered into a stare down with the champion. The audience booed both of them because they fucking hate both of them. Young looked at the title and smirked.
“You may be able to defeat any of those three but you can’t beat me.” Young said, confidently.
Isabella stepped forward and then shared a laugh with her brother.
“You could not hold on to the Hybrid Champion for more than a month. Atropos looks like she will be challenging Miguel long before you will. So perhaps you should set your sights on her and stay in your lane. You don’t want to be embarrassed again.” Isabella said.
The siblings then walked off leaving Young to have a good think on what was said.
•TRIPLE THREAT MATCH•
BOOTS MARTIN vs. ERIK HOLLAND vs. GABE SHELLEY
The main event was next and it saw Boots Martin enter, then Gabe Shelley but Erik Holland was nowhere to be found. Cut to a feed from backstage that saw Holland, his ribs taped, arguing with the medical staff. Back in the ring Martin shrugged and she went for a roundhouse kick on Shelley but he evaded it. Shelley took Martin over with an arm drag and then he mockingly scolded her with a wag of his finger, which got a pop from Toronto.
“Looks like this bad boy is going to be one on one. Shelley really has no chance now.” Filth Murphy said.
“His chances were 33% before. Now they are at 50%.” Thad Balk said.
“Yeah but he could have pinned Holland. He won’t pin Bootsy.” Murphy said.
Martin stood up clapping, clearly amused by Shelley’s little display. Martin rushed Shelley again and he prepared for another arm drag but Martin stopped short and cracked him with a roundhouse kick to the head that dropped him. Martin then scolded Shelley with a wag of her finger.
Shelley acknowledged the tit-for-tat with a slow clap of his own but Martin rushed him and smashed him with a knee to the face. Martin got wrist control and pulled Shelley into a front face lock, looking for a suplex but Shelley swung out of it and went for one of his own. Martin countered that, looking for an exploder but wouldn’t you fucking believe it, Shelley countered that and planted Martin with a t-bone suplex which Toronto loved.
Realizing that he could end this now, Shelley stopped fucking around and shot Martin into the ropes. On her return Shelley took her down with a flapjack and then floated over, pulling her up for the Junkyard Jam (Pedigree) but Martin dumped him over the top rope onto the apron. Shelley tried to recover by hitting a springboard into the ring but Martin jumped at the perfect time and caught him with a double knee facebreaker. Martin covered for a near fall.
“An impressive back and forth from these two. Despite her demeanor, Boots Martin wants a shot at the World Championship. She has held two different titles here in Elysium but never the World Championship.” Balk said.
Just as Martin went for the kill, “Death Becomes Him” cued up and it got a big pop from Toronto. Erik Holland hobbled to the ring, holding his taped ribs. Martin was unshaken, she let Holland enter the ring. When he did, Martin swung on him but Holland evaded it and took her over with a half and half suplex. Shelley stared at Holland, confused, and Holland greeted him with a bicycle kick to the mush.
“This is bullshit! He can’t sit out half of the match and then come in and pull this. This is an outrage!” Murphy screamed.
Martin tried to rally and go after Holland. She looked for a running clothesline but Holland evaded it, hit the ropes and cracked her right in the mouth with Plan 9 from Outer Space (Superman Punch). Holland did not have an opportunity to pin because Shelley was back up. Shelley rushed the first World Champion but Holland was faster, hitting Shelley with The Babysitter's Dead (Discus Big Boot).
Toronto was hot for Holland as it seemed that he was closing in on victory. Holland went to pick Shelley up for something devastating (likely) but Martin was quick enough to run up and catch Holland with a lungblower! Holland rolled around on the mat in agony. Martin mounted him and kept him subdued with some shots to the face before climbing to the top rope. Martin pointed at Holland with a finger gun and then came off of the top rope with a double foot stomp.
“This is it! This is it!” Murphy screamed.
Before Martin could pin, Shelley grabbed her and pulled her into The reVolt! Martin was too close to the ropes to pin so Shelley booted her to the outside. Shelley pulled Holland up to his feet but Holland cracked him with an uppercut. Holland then got Shelley up for The Toxic Avenger (Death Valley Driver) but Shelley slipped behind him and dropped him with a backstabber. Shelley then rolled it through into the Bright Lights (Crossface). Holland screamed in pain but the damage to his ribs gave him no choice, Holland had to submit.
Winner: Number One Contender, Gabe Shelley
Shelley had approximately thirty seconds to celebrate when he was attacked from behind by Miguel Villalobos. Villalobos smashed Shelley in the back of the head with the title, which opened Shelley up. Apparently he didn’t leave...it was a ruse! Villalobos got Shelley up and dropped him with La Mordida del Lobo (One-handed Electric Chair Driver). Villalobos left the ring, point proven. The final shot of the show was a close up of Shelley face down on the mat, a pool of blood forming under his face.
