Glitches - February 17th, 2019 [Results]

This one saw the return of The Penny Dreadfuls to Triad action and it did not really go their way. Despite Enigma and The Vixens having never teamed before, they worked together as a cohesive unit. The finish came when Nora Frost of The Vixens was able to plant Riley Rouse with Frost Bite (Springboard Tornado DDT).

Lio Walsh stood with Kristie Steele and promised that tonight, his Iron Championship was staying right with him and Glitches would continue to be Elysium's nightmare.

Our second Triad Match of the night saw B.I.B. and the new Static Age go head to head. Ramsay Kapstone was able to get the victory after hitting Ash Fi with Blatant Plagiarism (Stone Cold Stunner).

Winners: Static Age

Following that match Ramsay Kapstone took a microphone and praised his partners for yet another victory. Ramsay said that now that they have beaten most of the Triad Division, there is only one thing left to do and that was challenge Triad of Tango to a match at Event Horizon. Tommy Kapstone said that they wouldn’t accept and Kara Scene added that they have no choice...because literally no one else deserves it. Ramsay agreed and said that this isn’t the first time that he’s been the only choice, and likely not the last.

Yuuto Tatsugami came to the ring looking as confident as ever. Ryan Gates, not so much. After a great back and forth contest Gates (shockingly) pulled out the victory by hitting the Blood Reign (Rainmaker). Gates looked legitimately shocked as he picked up his first singles win in like a decade.

Intrepid Glitches Interviewer Kristie Steele was backstage with Zafar Khan. Khan said that wants to reward the audience’s faith in him and he’s was going to do that with another victory. Steele then asked him about Lio Walsh and the attack Walsh perpetrated last week. Khan said that if there was anything left of Walsh after tonight, Khan would get his pound of flesh.


This one didn’t take long as Zafar Khan lit Linden Cassidy up with some big kicks to the body and nailed him with an enziguiri. After that Cassidy walked right into a Tiger Style (Spanish Fly) for the pinfall and victory.

Landon Carter was warming up and getting ready to walk out for the main event match when his kind-of-friend Camille Harrington approached and wished Carter luck in his match. Carter just gave her a knowing nod and that’s when Ryan Gates approached. Gates said that he doesn’t give a shit who wins and that he wants the next shot at the Iron Title. Harrington interjected and said that there is a line. There was a brief staredown and the scene faded...leaving us in suspense!

Landon Carter came out to a big pop but he didn’t seem to give a shit because he’s a stone cold killer. “The Nightmare King” Lio Walsh came out next and The Dungeon let him know how much they hated him. The bell sounded and Walsh immediately went to the outside. Carter followed him and caught Walsh with a belly to belly suplex right into the guard rail. Carter got Walsh up and body slammed Walsh over the guard rail, bending him in half.

The fight spilled out into the crowd where Walsh was able to grab an audience member’s chair and smashed it over Carter’s head. Walsh sent Carter head first into the concrete wall of the tunnel. Carter tried to put some space between himself and Walsh, walking out into the concession area. Walsh tried to rush Carter and got hit with a belly to belly suplex over the counter of the beer station and into a cooler! The glass door smashed and bottles of beer spilled out onto Walsh’s head.

Carter used this time to recover and when he went to grab Walsh, Walsh smashed a bottle over Carter’s head. Carter was busted open and again, he staggered sideways to put some space between himself and Walsh. The two brawled back into the crowd where Walsh caught Carter and dropped him with Made of Nightmares (Rock Bottom). Walsh then realized that he had to pin Carter in the ring.

Walsh brought Carter back over the barrier and into the ring. Walsh then went until the ring and pulled out another steel chair. Walsh brought it into the ring but Carter, bloodied, charged at Walsh and sent the chair into his face via Greetings From Kings County (Running Knee to the Face). Carter then got Walsh up and planted him with Bankrupt (Lifting DDT), covered, and got the three count.

Winner: New Elysium Iron Champion, Landon Carter

The audience exploded! There was a new top dog in Glitches and they were happy as fuck about it. The bloodied champion collected the hardware and held it high in the air, standing over his fallen opponent as Glitches went off the air.
