The Badd Breed (Rob Sharpe and Equinox) vs. Karnivall and Stitches
The bell almost didn’t get to ring as a very eager Equinox jumped into the ring and almost immediately charged towards Stitches. He was clearly a man on a mission, and his motions showed as much. He was looking to represent not only to Badd Breed well, but himself also. Equinox leans down, succeeding in grabbing a hold of one of Stitche’s legs. The other clings onto his back as he tosses Freakshow over with a huge Reverse Exploder Suplex!
The audience roars in approval, seeming to love the athletic abilities being shown to the Last Kingdom!
Stitches barely finishes getting up, only to quickly be hit with a V-Trigger Knee right to his jaw!
Rob is cheering his comrade on while Karnivall looks less than pleased. He stretches his hand out, trying to reach his partner despite it being an easier said than done task at that moment. Karnivall looks both pissed and a bit desperate. Whether at how the fight’s going, his partner, or both is anyone’s guess. He steps over the top ropes, causing the ref to turn and pay attention to him instead of Equinox and Stitches.
It distracts Equinox long enough for Stitches to poke him in the eyes, causing the crowd to boo angrily!
Equinox curses, quickly covering his eyes with one arm to keep them from being touched again.
By now, Karnivall seems satisfied enough with the seeming turn-around and leaves, allowing the ref to turn in time to see Equinox stumble backwards and manage to find his corner, where Rob helps tag himself in. The first thing Sharpe gives Stitches is a welcoming in the form of a huge headbutt!
Sharpe follows up with a shoving Stitches against the ropes. It almost seems like a mistake as Stitches is finally able to legally tag out now and gives Karnivall the ability to step inside finally!
Karnivall charges, only to be caught in the Dawkins Suplex (Hardway German Suplex)! Sharpe hoists Karnivall back up, only to deliver his finisher, The Sharpe Turn (Angle Slam)! Stitches tries to get in to break the cover, but is tackled by Equinox with The Dark Kingdom (Swanton Bomb)!
Sharpe goes for the cover!

[align=center]BACKSTAGE…[/align]
The scene opens up to show Sean Isaac Leonard Kennedy, professionally known to all y’all as SILK, sitting with a knife and fork and with a purple silk (of course) napkin tucked into his neckline. A silver platter with a round cover is in front of him, and he licks his lips in anticipation.
SILK: “Mmmmmmmmmmmmm-MMM! Ya boy is ready to chow down on the competition here in Elysium and turn these other fools into part of a five course meal. Like the great DMX said, I just LOVE when a nigga bring his whole crew - it’s just a bigger piece of cake for me to chew a whole through. And the cherry on top of this Hot Fudge Sundae? My girl Cartier gon’ be right by my side. Ain’t you, girl?”
SILK then raises off the big silver lid from his platter, revealing a round, brown ass in a thong underneath. Panning back, the camera shot reveals Cartier on her hands and knees in front of SILK with a big smile on her face as she wiggles her bubble butt for the man’s pleasure.
CARTIER: “You goddamn right, Daddy. We out here on a mission an’ like we had said from day ONE. Day ONE, you feel me? Like we been said the whole time, we ain’t here to make friends or boost up other people in our orbit. We here for US. We came to Elysium for one reason an’ one reason ONLY… to win these tag straps. We come for gold, we come for green, an’ we come CORRECT. At the end of the day, we gon’ look like Quincy Jones wit’ all the gold we gon’ have hangin’ on our walls, know what I’m sayin, Silky?”
SILK raises his shades off his eyes and pushes the up over his forehead, wiping away a tear from his eye as he continues to look down at the ass in front of him. It looks like the man may be in the middle of a religious experience.
SILK: “Cartier, you the chocolate syrup on the vanilla ice cream of this business. You the cinnamon on the top of this egg nog. You got me over here about to say grace for this bountiful meal. We done the work, we ‘bout to put the finishin’ touch on this Elysium Pro chapter of the Thot Chocolate cookbook. They ain’t even gonna know what hit ‘em because I came to this table with a HUNGER. SILK’s stomach was GROWLIN’ for gold when we found Elysium Pro, an’ as much as we been bringin’ home that bacon this gon’ be our first taste of that sweet potato pie.”
CARTIER: “Make sure you leave room for dessert, Silky, Momma ain’t made this puddin’ so it could go to waste. Dinner in the ring tonight when we eat that W like Jameis Winston, then dessert back at the hotel when we ain’t gotta where nothin’ except them Elysium Pro title belts. You gonna clean your plate, boy?”
SILK: “Girl… SILK is STARVIN’.”
CARTIER: “Good. Because it’s time for Thot Chocolate to get that respect and cash that check. Secure the bag, then we can enjoy the spoils.”
SILK licks his lips again as Cartier cackles, wiggling her backside back and forth in front of him again and resting her high heeled feet on his shoulders. SILK runs his hands up and down Cartier’s calves, never taking his eyes off the prize.
SILK: “You ready girl?”
CARTIER: “I BEEN ready. Now open up wide…”
The scene fades to black just as SILK begins to lean forward, and all we hear after it goes dark is a gasp from Cartier.

Enigma Protocol (Ryan Gates and Miguel Villailobos) vs. TNP Inc. (Leah and Q)
Miguel snickers as Leah steps in. He rapidly says something to Ryan in Spanish, who nods in agreement, a smirk adorning his face. Leah does not look happy. All doubts are removed as she greets Miguel with a surprisingly powerful Big Boot to his gut!
Suffice to say, The Wolf King definitely got her message and understands perfectly she’s not here to play around. He growls defiantly and reaches for Leah’s throat. But she counters, shocking the entire audience and Miguel as she lands a Roundhouse Kick right to his temple before he can grab her throat!
A loud “THIS IS AWESOME!” chant starts up as Miguel shakes his head, snapping himself out of his daze, and wraps his arms around Leah’s waist. Villalobos tosses her backward with a Release German Suplex!
Leah initially glares at Miguel .. but the annoyed look vanishes, replaced by a smirk as something seems to enter her head. She gets up and calmly tags Q in. Miguel follows suit and goes back to his corner, making Ryan the legal man for Enigma Protocol.
Ryan tries to Clothesline Q, but is warded off by a Standing Moonsault from Q! Ryan charges right at Q, but this is where we see Leah’s plan begin to come into play!
Q wraps her arms around Ryan and makes the crowd get more ecstatic as she pulls of Q’s Lament (Bridging Deadlift German Suplex)! She quickly tags Leah back in, who follows up with the second half of TNP Inc’s Finisher TNP 2.0 and gives Gates’ sternum a Big Boot!
Miguel tries to get back in, but Q keeps him occupied. Leah hooks the leg!

Static Age (Ramsay & Tommy Kapstone) vs. Thot Chocolate (Cartier and SILK)
Tommy and SILK are the first to start this next round off. Tommy seems eager to try to end the match fast, as he wastes little time in trying to land a Superkick against SILK’s head. SILK manages to avoid it … though Tommy’s foot got damn close to hitting its mark. SILK shakes his head at the attempt, while Cartier sticks her tongue out at Tommy!
Upon seeing Cartier’s taunt, Tommy starts storming over to her.
Those brief seconds are more than enough for SILK to go on the offensive, in a very over-protective mode. He lifts Tommy up before he can reach Cartier and slams him down with an Elevated Sitout Powerbomb.
While Tommy is still trying to recover, SILK moves to the opposite corner and lands an amazing Shining Wizard against the Static member!
Cartier is loudly whooping and cheering, looking like she’s on cloud nine. But both members of THOT Chocolate are reminded of Ramsay, as he enters the ring, shoving the referee out of is way before they can argue and try to get him back on the apron. He then gets a rather harsh Back Rake nailed against SILK who glares daggers as he turns to look at Ramsay.
Cartier is done waiting and decides ‘the hell with this shit’, getting in to help even the odds out.
Everytime the poor referee tries to bring order around, he almost gets hit by an attack that’s flying from either team. Eventually, SILK and Cartier work together and manage to toss Ramsay over the top ropes by using a Spear and Bicycle Knee Strike.
Cartier leaves for now, looking rather satisfied. She shares a knowing grin with SILK .. who nods, looking back at his partner with his own smirk, before hoisting Tommy up in a Wheelbarrow Lift. Cartier ascends the ropes … only to leap off and connect with a Codebreaker!
As she executes the Codebreaker, SILK uses all his power to make the attack have the strongest possible impact!
Cartier gets out of the ring as SILK makes the cover!

QUARTERFINALS
Brew Collar (Jack Danielson and Andrew Wilkow) vs. BGTL (Claire and Ximenia Asensio)
The audience of The Last Kingdom was honestly unsure about this match. No one knew whom exactly to root for, and was thus quiet for the beginning of this fight. Andrew and Claire would be the first legal people. Claire tried to take the quick route by going for a low blow. Her knee was stopped, which made her eyes wide as Andrew retaliated with a knee to her gut.
Now that some action had happened, the audience seemed to have found which team they wanted to root for. A chorus of cheers rang up as they began encouraging Brew Collar to keep fighting.
And that was exactly what they did.
BGTL made repeated attempts to sneak in any ‘unfair’ tactics. But each seemed to be met with a counter in some form or fashion from one of the members of Brew Collar or the referee would threaten to disqualify them. Sometimes both.
The referee was ready to follow through with his/her threat before Ximenia Asensio, whom had gotten tagged in by now one of the times Claire managed to get to the corner and swap places, rose her hands and agreed to ‘play nice’ … as much as (s)he could agree to do so, anyway.
An actual fight was finally seen as a match of strikes happened! Kicks that were aimed for more legal spots and even elbows flew everywhere!
The back and forth continued for a few more minutes before finally, Jack got the upper hand. A well placed Big Boot to Ximenia’s chest dazed them long enough for Jack to let Andrew back in. Andrew easily hoisted the smaller wrestler up, bringing them down with a Powerbomb! Simultaneously, Jack added a Lungblower, thus giving the audience the ability to witness the move known as Back Roads come to life!
Jack shot a stern glare towards Claire, warning her she would be in for a world of pain if she tried to intervene. Andrew went for the win, hooking one of Ximenia’s legs!

SEMIFINALS
TNP (Leah and Q) vs. The Badd Breed (Equinox and Rob Sharpe)
Easily one of the more exciting bouts on the card, two-thirds of the Triad Champions TNP Inc, by way of upsetting the Enigma Protocol, meet the Badd Breed pairing of Equinox and Rob Sharpe after they defeated Karnivall and Stitches in the first round.
This match was all offense from the outset. Despite these two teams being winded and a little beat up from some difficult first round competition, they came into this match giving it their all. The crowd cheered again and again as the four daredevils took it all over the ring and to the floor; there weren’t even very many tags! But the referee let it slide knowing what was at stake.
Multiple down-the-middle-split chants serenaded both teams as the battle wore on; the Elysium faithful not able to really seperate their loyalty from either team.
At one point, Equinox came off the top rope onto TNP and his partner on the floor with a dive, which seemed to shift the momentum to Erik Holland’s stablemates. The Breed showed their unity for the next couple of minutes, tagging in and out, keeping Leah away from Q with some excellent tag team wrestling but Leah always showing that resiliency, able to get out of multiple pinning combinations.
The Badd Breed were a seasoned team though and didn’t get frustrated. It was really only when Leah created some seperation and nailed that front dropkick off the turnbuckle that she likes to use that she was able to crawl to her corner and get the tag to Q. Q came in with a vengeance, laying into the Badd Breed with power moves, tossing them all around the ring as the crowd cheered her on. She eventually landed an exploder suplex on Sharpe for a CLOSE two count as Equinox came off the buckles with a leg drop across her head, sacrificing his body to keep the match alive.
Leah took Equinox out of the ring and started fighting with him on the outside as Sharpe ducked a lariat, nailing a headbutt followed by a kitchen sink knee to the gut. He loaded Q up looking for the Sharpe Turn, but Q used her athletic ability to land on her feet behind Sharpe and grab a tight waistlock, slowly bringing him up and then back onto his neck with Q’s Lament! A perfect bridge followed, and Leah just about had to run-block Equinox to keep him from breaking up the three count!
WINNERS: TNP Inc.
[/b][/span][/div][/span]After such a hard fought, clean contest, TNP helped the Badd Breed up and shook hands, a sign of respect amongst the two very popular teams. But only one team could move on and this time it was TNP Inc, set to meet the winner of Brew Collar and Thot Chocolate in the finals.

SEMIFINALS
Thot Chocolate (SILK and Cartier) vs. Brew Collar (Andrew Wilkow and Jack Danielson)[/align]
If you’re a fan of traditional tag team wrestling, look no further than this match. Here we had a couple young, very hungry and very talented teams looking to advance for a shot at the Tag Team Championship and they did not disappoint.
Brew Collar came out of the gate with an awesome game-plan; neutralize the smaller Cartier and keep her away from SILK. They did so with skillful strategy, cutting the ring in half and using a lot of tags and their old school smash mouth style to keep Cartier grounded and unable to get to her corner, particularly with the Red White and Boot that Cartier had to kick out of after a close 2.9 count. She showed a lot of fight though whenever she was in their corner, attacking both men with flurries of strikes and trying to get the crowd behind her before she got cut off with another bruising double team move.
She was able to find just a little bit of daylight later in the match though, avoiding an attempt at Brew Collar’s “Back Roads” finishing maneuver to fight her way to the turnbuckles and quickly come off the second rope with a somewhat sloppy but definitely impactful Meteora, driving Wilkow’s head into the canvas! She gets up and tucks into a forward roll to get the tag to SILK!
SILK comes in feet first with a bicycle knee strike to Wilkow, followed by ducking a lariat from Danielson and coming back with a Slingblade! As Cartier recovers on the apron, SILK gets double teamed (But not the way he usually likes to be, heyo) and sent into the ropes, but SILK counters and delivers a version of BJ (Break Jaws) to both members of Brew Collar! This deposits Wilkow on the outside leaving Danielson as the legal man. Danielson is down and SILK takes the legs looking to put on his Sharpshooter he calls the Trick Turner, but Danielson fights him off with those powerful legs and gets to his feet, delivering the Great American Bash to SILK’s jaw! CLOSE two count as Cartier dives in for the save!
All four down as the crowd cheers this incredible display of effort by both competitors. Wilkow and Cartier slowly make their way back in, colliding with some heavy strikes. Wilkow sends Cartier to the corner but she gets her knees up into Wilkow’s face, and then takes down the bigger man with a spear! She gets thrown to the outside by Danielson, but he turns around right into a spinning backfist from SILK! Danielson’s out on his feet and falls victim to the Silky Smooth DDT! SILK hooks both legs, sitting on Danielson’s chest, and gets three!
WINNERS: Thot Chocolate
SILK rolls off Danielson onto the floor, on both knees with his fists in the air. Wilkow looks frustrated but is more worried about the state of his partner as Cartier and SILK head to the back, knowing they’ve been in a fight with a supremely tough combination.

FINALS
FOR THE ELYSIUM TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Thot Chocolate (SILK and Cartier) vs. TNP Inc. (Leah and Q)[/align]
It’s all been leading up to this; the final round of the Widewawake Tournament! The winners will walk home with the honor of becoming the Elysium Pro Tag-Team Champions! It’s all led up to this final contest, and all the competitors in the ring are wearing the scars and bruises of their night of matches.
The crowd is at a fever pitch, and it seems to well up inside SILK and explode outward at both members of TNP Inc! Q and Leah both go down to a clothesline from each SILKY arm as he uses his weight advantage to bully the two lighter wrestlers, but undaunted they’re on their feet again when he turns around!
The War Queen knocks SILK to his knees with a roundhouse, and Q follows up with a standing moonsault! While Q is picking herself back up, a sour-faced Cartier takes down Leah with a hiptoss into a DEVASTATING knee lift, and attempts to hip check Q, but she reverses it into a MASSIVE, unorthodox German suplex! She leans against the ropes, breathing heavily as the referee tries to regain control of this mess. Just because it’s no-disqualification doesn’t mean we can’t be nice and orderly about this match, right?
… right?
SILK did not receive this memo of orderly conduct, as he BLASTS Leah with a spinning back fist, knocking her right into Cartier, who punishes her with a few swinging punches followed by a BACKDROP DRIVER! Cartier sticks her tongue out at the crowd, taking a few seconds to make sure the cameraman gets a lens full of her mouth meat before climbing up on SILK’s shoulders. The two ascend the ropes together, no doubt looking to land their Elevated Leg Drop on The War Queen, but Q powers out of her exhaustion and shoves them over, toppling both into the mat! Q surges with energy and LEAPS off, SPLATTERING herself against SILK with a frog splash! She hooks the leg and the referee drops to count!
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Kickout at two, with authority!
Leah climbs to her feet, and the two begin laying alternating kicks into the seated SILK as the crowd begins to count along! The energy comes crashing to a crescendo when the Cash Money Bunny gets back to her feet, CLOBBERING Leah and turning to ERASE Q’S FACE WITH AN EMPIRE STATE OF MIND!!!
She drops into a cover, but before the referee can even count, Leah is on top of her! She drags her to her feet, laying precision strike after precision strike as she does before kneeling to DROP THE—NO!!! A second Empire State of Mind! Both members of TNP are laid out! Cartier covers Leah!
ONE!
SILK gets to his feet and plants one boot on Cartier’s back, enforcing the pin!
TWO!!
THREE!!!!
The referee raises SILK and Cartier’s arms as the victors!
WINNERS OF WIDEAWAKE 2019, AND NEW ELYSIUM TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Thot Chocolate (SILK and Cartier)
[/b][/span][/div][/span]Erik Holland is seen making his way to ringside with the Tag Team Championships as SILK and a visibly emotional Cartier are sat embracing in the center of the ring. The winner of the inaugural Wideawake tournament kneels and says something to both competitors before presenting them with the Tag Team Championship, shaking their hands and then raising their hands to a huge ovation and a little fireworks display up on the stage! TNP Inc are huddled in a corner, totally exhausted but can’t be ashamed of the effort they put in to get here.
Our last shot of the aftermath of this extraordinary event is Cartier and SILK posing mid-ring with their new acquisitions AND the Wideawake tournament trophy!
Thank you for watching, and we will see you in June when Elysium Pro’s FRONTLINE returns to air!
