ELYSIUM PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS
AUGUST 31
LIVE FROM THE ROGERS CENTER (FKA SkyDome)
TORONTO, ONTARIO CANADA
SILK and Cartier are seen getting their merch together for the big Elysium show. In a handful of minutes they’ll be alongside Stacy Deville, the reigning Elysium Champion, as part of a QA panel and merchandise table doubleheader.
Cartier tosses another box of tee shirts onto the table as SILK lines up a few Thot Chocolate thermal cups, being a little anal about them lining up properly with the logo being visible etc. Cartier nudges him with her booty and cackles as it knocks him off balance and screws up the cups.
SILK tosses his hands up and shoots her a look but can’t stay mad longer than a second or two before he laughs along with her. Something about a pretty girl and a pretty smile that calms the savage beasts.
SILK: “Girl you rude as hell! You lucky you fine.”
Cartier: “Shut yo ass up, SILK you was just enjoyin’ makin’ them cups all lined up pretty so much that I wanted to get you more time doin’ it.”
SILK shakes his head and sets the cups up once more while Cartier sticks her tongue out at him.
Cartier: “You know what though, SILK, I’m kinda glad you a perfectionist sometimes. Attitude like that helps us keep focused an’ helps us keep our record here in Elysium perfect as well. We gotta go out there an’ show everyone exactly why we won these tag straps an’ why we the team to beat in Elysium. You sure your girl Stacy cool? You know I don’t trust no Beckies…”
SILK: “Nah, nah, Stacy good people. She ain’t gonna go out there an’ demand to speak to the manager, don’t sweat it. All we gotta do is TCB in the ring, like we do.”
Cartier: “Well you can be damn sure I got that on lockdown. Gettin’ to team up wit’ the Elysium Champion puts a even bigger spotlight on us than usual. I’m hype as hell for it an’ I know you is too.”
SILK: “No doubt.”
Cartier: “We go out there an’ show ‘em why we belong in this Frontline main event. We remind Static Age why we blew past ‘em in the Wide Awake tournament to begin wit’, and we show Stacy Deville that maybe one of us gonna be her top challenger sometime soon on top of it. Static Age couldn’t get the job done against us for Wide Awake an’ they got straight handled by Brew Collar on last Frontline, so what the fuck they even doin’ in this ring wit’ us again anyways? Bring us the top contenders, we ain’t tryina duck.”
SILK: “Never have, never will. We show up an’ show out in the biggest tag team shows all over the world. Golden Tag, Wide Awake, Bad Company… we here an’ just like ol’ girl Tiffany Haddish say, WE READY.”
Cartier: “We STAY ready. That’s why it’s our cell phones that blow up when it’s time for a main event. It’s why they gotta scramble an’ put nobodies like Static Age in there wit’ us, because we above an’ beyond. Same wit’ Stacy, I guess. What the fuck this Ryan Gates fool in the ring wit’ us an’ wit’ her? The Elysium Title, the tag team titles… this fool ain’t got it done in his Iron Title match an’ now he gets to share the spotlight wit’ real champions? That’s some bullshit.”
SILK: “Now don’t go gettin’ heated babygirl we gotta smile for the cameras an’ sign some autographs for the fans… we’ll handle our business when it’s time for it to get handled in that ring for Frontline. Bet.”
Cartier: “You right, you right… let’s get it.”
SILK rubs his hand across the back of Cartier’s neck and shoulders, relaxing her. They both smile.
A few moments later SILK waves as he sees Stacy Deville arriving and walking towards them from a distance. Thot Chocolate’s in the house.
Fade.
WINNERS: Brew Collar
Winner #AndStill Hybrid Champion: Jake Archer
The new World Champion got a tremendous reaction when she stepped into Skydome, and alongside the Tag Team Champions who were competing in 4CW's Bad Company Tag Team Tournament later this evening they made for a fun main event against the arguably formidable trio of Static Age and the man formerly known as Ryan Gates who is now known as TERROR. Initially, Static Age got an unfair advantage on the championship trio and seemed to work better with each other than they did with Ryan Gates, but nonetheless were able to isolate Cartier from her partners and punish her for the first few minutes.
However, Cartier was able to get loose and tag SILK, who was able to even the odds with Static Age and TERROR by his natural strength and elusiveness, even causing TERROR to accidentally strike Ramsay Kapstone in his exuberance to get to SILK. Finally, to much fanfare from Skydome Stacy Deville entered the match and peppered the opposition with a wide array of suplexes, leaving them reeling, and finally applying the Stretch Muffler on TERROR to get the submission victory and send the crowd home happy.

OPENING CONTEST
TAG TEAM MATCH
Brew Collar (Andrew Wilkow and Jack Danielson) vs. Maximum Dynamite (Steven Maximum and Elijah Dynamite)
#MaxBrew
This was a match that the Number One Contenders wanted to get against a fairly new tag team in Maximum Dynamite and it showed from the outside. Despite the young and athletic Maximum Dynamite taking advantage early with some less than legal tactics that they no doubt learned from their running mate Agustin Gates, Brew Collar was able to fight back with their teamwork and their rough brawling tactics to take over. Soon enough, even though Maximum Dynamite tried to cheat several times to take the victory, the Number One Contenders delivered Nothing Vet-er to Elijah Dynamite and continued their winning streak on their way to the Tag Team title match in September.
WINNERS: Brew Collar
HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
SINGLES MATCH
Lio Walsh vs. Jake Archer
#HybridTitle
For the first title defense at Frontline, Lio Walsh got a shot at #THEBEST Jake Archer and his newly won Hybrid Championship. As promised when Lio made his entrance he was flanked by "The Titaness" Sam Hamilton. Archer came in on Cloud Nine considering he knows he's got a World Championship match in September against Stacy Deville, but when the bell rang for this match Jake's normally arrogant demeanor dropped and he looked very focused, which he would need to be against the Nightmare King.
When Lio was in control, he used his toughness and brawling to batter Jake Archer around the ring and around the ringside area as well, taking advantage of his experience as a former two time Iron Champion. He was careful not to get himself disqualified though, and kept the pressure on the champion with multiple pinfall attempts.
Jake to his credit showed his toughness, as he was very proud of being the Hybrid Champion (and really, proud in general of being Jake Archer) and fought back--not only with dirty tactics like eye pokes but his high flying prowess came into play as well, taking out Lio Walsh several times with spectacular dives. Unfortunately for Jake he was so proud that he hit those moves that he wasted too much time taunting or trying to start crap with Sam, and got close near falls where he might have gotten three counts.
Lio fought back at a seemingly pivotal point in the match, connecting with a huge spinebuster for a close two count. Lio followed this up by looking for a superplex, but Jake pushed him off the buckle, setting up and connecting with the Superman Kick but NARROWLY getting a two count. This was a big part of the match because during the count, Lio put his foot on the ropes, Jake knocked it off, and Sam Hamilton put his foot back on the rope to force the rope break. Thanks to Sam, Lio fought back -again-, hitting a huge spike DDT as a counter to a superkick attempt, and then hooked up Made of Nightmares--but Jake rolled through the move and put his feet all over the ropes, out of sight of the referee and Sam as he got the three count! Sam unfortunately wasnt quick enough to get there!
Winner #AndStill Hybrid Champion: Jake Archer
IRON CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
IRON RULES
Equinox vs. Azurine Vebbins
Iron Championship
The next contest was an Iron Championship match pitting the returning Azurine Vebbins against the Badd Breed's Equinox, and they got right to wowing the crowd after some basic wrestling in the ring. Nox brought a LOT of weapons to the ring and the two competitors employed most of them. We saw Equinox batter Azzy with a pool cue, and Azzy smacked Nox across the face with a cricket bat. Azzy brought many weapons to the ring with her as well--most of them household based. This included drilling Equinox with a frying pan and choking him with the drawstrings of a kitchen apron when she had control of the match. She also broke a mop over the shoulders of the High Spot Hero and threw cooking flour in his face before hitting a half nelson suplex onto a chair for a two count! Speaking of high spots, when Nox got ahold of a ladder that turned the match up a notch. Both competitors punished each other with the steel apparatus, Equinox at one point using it as a springboard to hit Azzy with a moonsault! Finally after Equinox dropped her with When Doves Cry, he set up the ladder and then climbed the turnbuckle, hitting a leaping leg drop OVER the ladder and onto Azzy to finally hold her down for three and retain the Iron title! Afterwards, Equinox showed respect to Azurine Vebbins by helping her to her feet.
