The goal for Elysium is to showcase characters. Not necessarily over the top gimmicks like the 80s or even the 90s but I want each character to be well thought out and interesting. I will handle this on a case by case basis but not everyone who applies will be accepted. I may suggest changes or notes based on your application because I have a specific vision for how Elysium will operate and I don't want to waste anyone's time. Including my own.
The company itself is a hybrid between real sports feel ala New Japan Pro Wrestling and a gritty action movie presentation like Lucha Underground. Is that confusing? Probably. The idea is that while wrestling is a real sport, with real competition, it exists in a fantastical environment. Sometimes things that aren't realistic happen, but such is the nature of this beast. We will never get too wild with these things, the storytelling will always be grounded in reality.

Before anything, I want handlers that are looking to come aboard to ask themselves why they want to join. If it is to solely win matches and accolades then this may not be the place for you. While all matches are determined on the strength of promos, storylines to factor into the actual meat of the matches. This is a roleplay game and the main goal is to tell interesting stories and have fun.
In order to be added to the roster and booked you will have to submit an application AND an introductory promo. This helps us determine your commitment level and is the only true promo you'll ever need to write outside of the Aftermath threads. The staff will not remind you to do this, your application will not even be considered until we have seen that you have done this. The ability to follow instructions is paramount, if you can't do things our way then we assume that you don't really want to be here.
Please fill out the Application in it's entirety. Every field is very important. Please follow the formatting of the application as it was meticulously planned and is easier to read when referencing it for match writing. The inability to fill out the application properly will stall your progress. You will not be accepted until you fix any errors.
Check the Reserved List before submitting an application. Theme music we don't so much care about but you can not use the same pic base as someone else. That goes for different versions of the same person. Say if someone is using Heath Ledger as a poser, you can not use The Joker from The Dark Knight.
If you are accepted, your first match will likely be against on of our many jobbers. It helps start your journey off on the right foot. You are expected to promo for this "enhancement" match and will not be given a victory if you no-show. You also will not be booked again unless you speak to the staff.

• Elysium is a federation for original wrestlers only.
• You may not use another handler's character without their permission.
• A handler may have only five active characters in Elysium at one time.

• The events will be held on a weekly basis.
• All new characters will start on the Glitches roster and will have to earn their way to the Frontline Roster a.k.a. Main Roster.
• At this time we are not accepting segment submissions for events. You may submit an idea but the shows are to be entirely written by staff. This helps keep the storytelling cohesive.

• Twitter - There will be specified hashtags for each match on each show. The way the match is written will be determined by what staff sees in regards to that hashtag. Note, you can still respond to a match specific hashtag even if you are not in the match. If you want your character involved in some way, then this is how you can let us know.
• Aftermath - After every event is posted there will be an Aftermath thread. In order to be booked the following week, you must reply IN-CHARACTER to the Aftermath thread. It helps staff determine where storylines are going to go in the future. You can use this platform to call people out or introduce any idea that you would like to see executed in the future.
• Feedback - Producing two shows a week and handling all of the people behind the characters is a very tall order. Replying to the feedback threads after each event not only lets staff know what is working but also shows that you care about Elysium and the work that the staff is doing. This is not mandatory but it will only benefit your character(s) positions.
