Well,
I'm on a fairly frequent lookout for music I haven't heard before. This shall be yet another way for me to learn of new bands, groups, and musical ideas I haven't yet discovered.
I run the gamut from liking Deltron 3030 (Love Del), MF DOOM (obviously), Public Enemy, to some of the commercial rappers to some turntablism like Kid Koala or DJ Q-Bert or Shadow, to oldies like CCR and Rolling Stones and the Beatles, Animals, and Fats Domino among many others up through Springsteen and Tom Petty to Canadian classics like Bruce Cockburn and Leonard Cohen through 90s Alterna-rock schtuff and some nu-metal or whatever they call it or themselves (the Deftones may be one of my favourite bands).
Favorite contempary-ish bands I'm into are Maps and Atlases, Minus the Bear and listening to a fair amount of Broken Social Scene.
More recently I think I'll get into Gang of Youths a bit more.
What about you?

Since I've started to watch Mr. Robot, I've noticed the fun mixture of music choices they have. When Season 2 started, one of the better scenes I've seen thus far had this song over it. I'm a fan of "oldie" music being used neatly in contemporary pieces. This one stuck with me so far. I'd put more up over time, I guess.

Since I've been playing Destiny 2 lately I'm listening to ambient noises in the Tower, but as far as music I got ahold of the new Belphegor album on Spotify which was pretty excellent, and about to play the most recent Paradise Lost offering.
